P – Physician (like myself).
This is my project 5 layout. The picture is of my son, who is a jetBlue pilot. I had previously created the picture using the mask techniques taught by Cassel in one of her PSP webinars. I appreciate the suggestions about how to create my own elements and papers for digital scrapbooking. I took this course to learn techniques for modifying photos to be used in digital slideshows and to become more proficient in using PSP, and I have enjoyed this course and Cassel’s expertise. I will certainly check out her other courses to become a more accomplished user.
Here is my Project 4 layout. I had trouble with the fill tool for the photo borders because it left blotches. I had to use the paintbrush to get an even appearance. I also had trouble with the selection tools with my photos; the one that finally worked best for me was the freestyle selection.
I find all the technique suggestions to be helpful since I am learning how to use PSP. Some I learned on my own such as the depth of field tool for the photo with the rose in the foreground and the back wall in the background.
I would like information about how to create my own elements and papers for topics that I can’t readily find on the web. Examples are U.S. Navy, military aviation, commercial aviation, and orchestral and symphonic music.

My day 5 layout.
Sorry that I am late with this. This is my day 3 layout.
Hi, I’m Marvin. I’ve had PSP for a few years but haven’t used it as much as I wanted. I am using PSP 2021 Ultimate. I am semi-retired, and now that I have more time I want to learn how to become proficient in using PSP for modifying photos. My goal is to prepare photos for use in creating slideshows. I am using the software Photopia Director for this. I am unfamiliar with scrapbooking, and as I learn about it, it might become another hobby. The photo I am posting is of my parents when they were first married.
