Lynda DiGregor – You wanted to know how I did my background pages – well because lots problems with previous attempts so these are the steps I took –

Hopeless try 3 or 4 duplications then to blur several times and seamless tile led to 3rd image using tile then just added Notre Dame image on top and lowered opacity until it was ghostly and colourized more grey.

Sorry Cassell and everybody have been struggling for days just to do tile and doily and just cannot do it so think it best to retire.  You are all way ahead of me and doing such great work.

      All the best hugs Marie

Well am exhausted – Blue Screen of Death to content with but my laptop was very ladylike and well behaved & we restored pre last windows update.    Have done the paper for 4th different time.   Still not happy with how it is all hanging together with the greys which I like the fire looks too bright.   Button was a lot of noise and trying out every other thing I could.    Am really impressed with all the different interpretations and am learning so much and getting ideas for all of you too.  Thanks Cassell and everybody.

Am amazed at all the different contributions from people – congratulation all.

After news today about Notre Dame decided to change completely to make it my subject so am behind.

Have done the frame but struggling to do new pattern – want to do tear drops using pen tool but it is tricky.

Cassell you were right with previous one had tried various sizes but forgot to make seamless.  It is 5 years since have done pattern etc but used to love it so that is why am trying now.    It know the paper is no good but just wanted to show am trying to do lessons.   Thanks

Thanks for the feedback Cassel – have had another try at drawing lines with a big grid at the back to guide me.   Am happy with that but not so much with the finished product but all the others were even worse.   Think psychedelically wallpapers.    Thanks Marie

I went all swirly with this one – hope it is OK but tried and tried and  hopeless with  pen and nodes with 74 yo fingers so tries preset shape of arrow and went from them to distort etc.   With pattern went to 25 scale. If not allowed to do that sorry please advise.  Marie
