OK, I’m ready with lesson 5. I made a two page scrap with several photos of our most recent RV travel. I used the colors in the balloons and sky to make the plaid and lesson 5 for the masking technique. I arranged the photos and merged visible to a new layer then made the mask on all the photos at the same time. All the photos, except the sunset were taken from the truck (tow vehicle). That was fun!

Everyone is doing such a great job of sharing. We are going around the world, seeing beautiful children and pets, great homelands and travels. With Carole as our host, we are learning to make all those things standout with her great PSP lessons.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks to all,
Lynda
Marie Claire,
I totally understand. We have been house bound since last March and it gets tiresome taking the same photos day after day and there are no kids running around now. We did get some beautiful ice crystals on the trees the other day. Looked like jewels. Fortunately, I have a lot of pictures from previous times.
Your dog is beautiful. Reminds me of my grandparents collies.
Keep up the good work.

Playing with Carole’s tutorial on the Reflection Effects-Kaleidoscope
Joyce,
I love that. I spent most of my school years in Burbank, Ca. Not one room by any means but California just the same. It was in the 60’s , so much fun. Not as crowded as it is now. Easy access to Hollywood Blvd., Sunset Blvd., the beaches and so much more. Loved every minute.

Day 3 Mask and Extra
Joyce,
I love your school layout. Where in California is this? The only one room schoolhouse I ever attended (for two days) was in Denmark.
Love it!
Lynda
This is just for fun and practice.
Carole’s plaid tutorial, Carole’s rain tutorial, the airbrush tool to emphasize the text, some masks that I have and my photos. You will probably see these flowers again. 🙂

Mask Workshop Day 2
I have two because I wanted to follow the plaid instruction but I think it’s to busy.
I also added another frame.
I made another plaid background. Maybe it’s less intrusive.

Masks Workshop-Lesson 1
I am really happy to go through this class again. I purchased the clip-to-it script so I forgot how to make masks on my own. Thanks Carole
I used Alafyou Swirly font that I got from Creative Fabrica for the title, the background is a light tan with a texture called Tan pebbles (at full scale) , white background under that. The poem is partial by Edna T. Helberg called “Longing for Spring”. The photos are mine.
I used these Quick Pages to highlight photos from Illinois and San Felipe, MX

World Wide Photo Walk is an activity where photographers from all over the world take photos in their own backyard and then share them and compete.
Flat Stanley is a project to acquaint school children with other parts of the world. My Granddaughter , who lives in Texas, asked me to take Flat Stanley around where I live in Illinois. These are only a few of the photos taken for the project. Haley was 11 at the time, she is now 18.
The fonts used are Philosopher and Magista Brush as well as Arial.

Quick page 5 and Extra
Hi Carole,
I think you are talking about the Naval Academy Graduation page. I started with the original but changed all the graphics. Added stars and stripes , downsized the frame and added the insignia. The reason, I found the photo of my grandson and his girl but the flowers etc. didn’t go with the photo or the occasion.
As far as the addition of the oval window in extra 3. I made a selection of the flower with the smart selection brush, promoted the selection to a layer. Then I made an oval selection on the yellow part of the layout and deleted the yellow, used the modify selection border to create the border, filled it with white and put the photo in the oval. Since I cutout the flower it still remained on top. The reason, I had two photos I wanted to use.
I hope that’s OK,
Lynda
Monique,
Looks like we had similar ideas for QP4. I used photos of our Lucy for the extra. Happily, she is still with us but she is 13 years old. Other than her arthritic paws, she seems to be doing OK but 13 is pretty old for a Dobi.
Love your babies…both were beautiful and I’m sure gave you much love and pleasure.
Lynda
Mary,
I am so glad you took the Architecture Tour on the Chicago River in Chicago. You are correct, Chicago has some of the most beautiful and interesting architecture around. Lovely photos

Thankyou Ann,
She was one in a million. I miss her.
Everyone is doing a super job on their projects…keep them coming!
I was looking through my photos and I have so many animal pictures that I decided to do something with them. Background is a color and texture, I made the frames and all the photos are mine. The butterflies are a tube.
Corrie,
I should probably already know the answer to this question but can you tell me where you are? My husband and I are fans of country and folk music, especially my husband, so these two artist are extremely well know in the USA to people who like the genre. There are lots of YouTubes of them if you are interested in checking them out.
I’m glad you enjoyed the layouts as you do a pretty good job yourself and it’s nice to have feedback from those that know what they are doing.
Thanks,
Lynda
Thanks Ann, He is kinda cute. 🙂 Unfortunately he died in 2002. He is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
