Going through all of the scripts in preparation for the Big Birthday Bash and started fooling around with some of the scripts I have. Everything here is made from scratch except the flower corners which were created with Carole’s folded flower 1 script. Again, the photos are mine.
Was watching the latest Master Class but unfortunately there were some technical difficulties. I did get to do a few “Out of Bounds” projects and watched the “Out of this World” master class, which is similar.
OK, here I am complaining about the weather
Hey Marvin,
Your Philmont layout brought back good memories. My son, now 34, had many good times at Philmont. Went the whole nine yards to Eagle Scout. He learned leadership which gave him the ability to be a Resident Assistant (RA) at university and now he does very well as a computer engineer at his company. Can’t say enough about boy scouts. Great preparation for life.
Thanks for the memories
Lynda
Thanks Joyce, Rt 66 is a ride

Lesson 7
I didn’t use any kits, I made the Rt 66 sign some time ago, I swiped the road off the internet, all the photos are mine, including the map. It was on Santa Monica pier and I took a photo of it.
I did enjoy this workshop. As usual, Carole always comes up with something new to me. I also enjoyed every ones creations.
Looking forward to dynamic frames.

Thanks Susan
Susan,
I just did a search for your friend. Wow, It will take me some time to get through it all. Fantastic…I saw one thing there that reminded me of something my son made many years ago. I still have it and cherish it as he is no longer with us besides the fact that it is beautiful.
Thanks again for the lead.,
Lynda
Susan,
Thanks for the information about the glass work. I will take a look at Leslie’s Facebook page. Don’t know if I’ll ever make it to the places you referred to but if I do I’ll know where to go.
The only thing I ever used a kiln for was ceramics. I really enjoyed that but like you ,when I moved the kiln did not go with me.
Again Thanks,
Lynda
I kinda got lost on lesson 6 when the little lesson on resizing templates to paper size got me. I resized the lesson 6 template and made this. My photos, the Circle tour sign from the internet and I put a URL in case anyone was interested in this “Iconic Road Trip”
Liz, Love your angels…beautiful
Lesson 6
I used some photos of the neighborhood kids playing croquet in my backyard. Unfortunately they all moved out of the area so I only see them when they visit the neighborhood. Miss having them around. They were a fun bunch.
I used Janet Kemps “Elegant Autumn” elements and just followed Carole’s lesson.
Ann,
You have gone full bore with your “Iconic Big Cats” album. It is beautiful, Kudos to you! When you have it printed please post some photos of it.
Lynda
Ann,
You might have a point. The index on most books are on the inside but you can be a maverick and do it your way.
Lynda
Susan, I love the wood carved stands and the beautiful , I’m assuming, blown glass. So jealous…guess I have to get my a** in gear and take advantage of the classes my city parks provide. Love it!
Lynda
Ann,
Nice job, that is going to be a great Album
Lynda
Lesson 5
I used Marisa Lerin’s elements, cass-leaves text for the leaves, joyfullearningblogspot on Pinterest for the poem, and my photos.
We have Cardinals daily at our bird feeder now. Our weather can’t make up it’s mind. One day ice crystals shining on the trees, the next Cardinals at the feeder.
I changed the mask layers a bit as I wanted a larger space for the photo with two birds. I didn’t use any kits except Carole’s template. Photos are mine. I really like the frame idea and procedure and thanks for reminding me how to put the script buttons on the toolbar. Time saver.
Lesson 3- Today and Tomorrow elements, my photo. Was trying to change the stitching to a gold chain..
As usual everyone is doing a bang up job. Really beautiful layouts, photos, colors and technique.
Here are a couple for lesson 2. A bit behind, maybe I can catch up.
I made two. The roses for practice and the Ukraine layout using Carole’s template because the people of the Ukraine have been on my mind as I imagine is with all of us. I used just stuff on my computer for the roses and my photos. For the Ukraine I used “Reach for the Sun” elements by Jessica Dunn. It seemed to me that those elements were appropriate under the circumstances. The photos are acknowledged on the layout.
I’m behind but my son did build me a fantastic computer. Been trying to put everything back together. It’s a work in progress.
This is Day 1. I used a kit from Pixel Scrapper call Wanderlust, it’s a collaboration of the ladies there, and the template provided by Carole.
I used a template from AZgirl at Digital Scrapbooking and a kit from DiHiller at Pixel Scraper
Bonnie, Corri, Susan,
All of your sketches are very nice . Sorry you are having power outages, Susan, but your layout looks pretty good anyway. Love how you did the title. If it needs anything, it will be interesting to see what else you do with it .
Bonnie, love the photo of lizard and the info. Never saw one like that.
Corrie, hope that wasn’t one of your trees. Yikes!
Lynda
Thanks Susan, I appreciate that
Thanks Ann, I had to make some corrections so you should see them now. I’m done now.
Ok, here are the rest of the Mardi Gras layouts.
