H- highway
Love it Annie….wish I could keep my focus like you do when I am learning something. Nope, I go off on tangents. I decided to do a Lab 5 which has a polka dot background thing , got waylaid and ended up with this. I was having trouble remembering how the templates work and had to work on that so my polka dots ended up as a template with a gradient. Go figure! These pictures are photos that I took of my clematis and used pic to painter on.
Micfin, she did like it but her mother liked it more….no accounting for mothers! 🙂
Thought I’d share this. My 16 year old granddaughter went to Homecoming recently and she sent me these photo. Of course I couldn’t let it go so here is a photo collage of the night.
Thanks Annie….always sweet and positive 🙂

I’ve been having so much fun playing with Carole’s cubic pattern in Lab 9-1 module and then a couple of deer showed up in my backyard so I decided to put them in back of the cubic pattern. Also encased one of our neighborhood cardinals. Kind of silly but fun nonetheless. 🙂
Really cute
Nice job, Annie…both are great!
finally got to finish Carole’s YouTube “Creating a digital scrapbook in PaintShop Pro”. Not all the text tricks were appropriate for these but I enjoyed learning some new things. Now onto Halloween!
Cristina, I agree with Annie, your recipe cards or pages are really great…of course I can’t steal your recipes because I can’t read them…I really have to learn another language! 😀
Annie and Micfin, I do look a lot like my mother but both of these photos are of her. I am the baby in the B&W (around 1950) and my son, Dominic is the child in the color photo (around 1988)
Micfin, Your Charity Ball definitely looks like an invitation. Very nice, love your choice of font. Prefect!
Annie, Your Lady in White is very nice. Next up for me is the spooky tut. Hope I can do as well as you.
Thanks for looking and your kind words.
Everyone is doing such a great job. I am working on Carole’s YouTube “Creating a digital scrapbook in PaintShop Pro”. I haven’t finished the whole thing yet but this is the first part. The pictures are of my mother with me and my son, Dominic.
Thanks Sharon, I appreciate it
Day 6 – Storytelling I didn’t do any grunge background or fancy letters. Didn’t think it would fit so I went back to the faded photo background. In this case, although you can’t see much of it, a photo of the bridge over the Kishwaukee River that leads to Butternut Preserve. Everything else are just macros of wildflowers using back button focus.

OK , Wanda, in the upper right corner is a “edit” link. It looks like this EDIT|REPLY. It looks like it’s greyed out and is a bit hard to see.
Double Take Day 4 – Glory of the Garden
I do like the faded background from the previous day so I used it again with a photo of one of our city parks.
Wanda , your photography is extraordinary. I’m taking a page from your playbook and doing a garden theme page also…hope you don’t mind a copycat.
If you saved your project as a pspimage you should be able to hide or delete what you don’t want and then add what you do want. (hide with the eye next to the layer you want to hide or right click in the layer you don’t want and delete) Not sure if this is what you were asking.
Wanda..love your flower display…are these your photos? They are really good.
Nice job!
Another Day 3- I decided I needed to try day 3 again as I wasn’t happy with how the background lined up. I figured if I started with a 3600 x 7200 and added the background then there would be no way it wouldn’t line up. I also decided to use guides so I wouldn’t over shoot the center. To make room for the center fold I put guides on either side of the center. Looking through my photos this is what I came up with.
Thanks for the input Carole…I appreciate it.
Day 3- finally- thought I’d have more done by now… I just copied Carole’s layout
Beautiful , Sunrises and Sunsets. Beautifully displayed
Alicia, some nice photography. I like your macros
Sharon, Your “Natures Beauty” was a flashback to my childhood. I haven’t seen a lady slipper since I was 12 or 13(a long time ago) My grandmother and grandfather had 36 acres of woods in Connecticut that we made our playground and the lady slippers made an appearance every year. Thanks for the memory. Nice work!
Hi Carole,
Since you asked ,Cadillac Ranch is a permanent art display. I assume anyone can add to the graffiti at will but I’m not sure. It’s out in the middle of nowhere….that’s why I say crazy Texans. This is what Wikipedia has to say about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadillac_Ranch
I’m really behind but I do have a beautiful new door on my house! 🙂
This is day 2- I think I missed symmetrical.. maybe it’s more like day 3 but I only read the synopsis.
I’ll have more time tomorrow to delve into it . Maybe I can catch up.
Wow , everyone is doing so great on this. I’m jealous! 🙂 I’ve been busy with necessary stuff so I’m way behind and still don’t have a theme but here are a couple of Day 1 efforts.
Flat Stanley was a school project of my granddaughter’s who lives in Texas. They needed to send Flat Stanley on a journey and she sent him to me in Illinois.
The other is a very crazy place in Texas called Cadillac Ranch. As you can see all the cadillacs are place upended and people just paint them any which way. I got a big chuckle from the no graffiti sign. Gotta love Texas!
