I made a sloppy sandwich…added some seeds to the tomatoes and some veins to the lettuce, although you really can’t see them. Also a little mayo, napkin, and a glass of water. All sitting on a picnic table. 🙂
Well Ladies,
I finally got Pic to Painting to work but , sadly, only on my laptop…still not working on my desktop.
Can’t figure it out. I uninstalled PtoP from both computers and reinstalled but it’s only working on the desktop.
Anyone have a fix , please share! 🙂
Hello everyone,
I’m back–repetition is the name of the game. Maybe I’ll retain more this time around.
Decided I’d take a shot with my Navy Pier photos on Lake Michigan in Chicago. Here is the carousel taken from the Ferris wheel.
I’m using a screen shot of my workspace…easier than trying to describe. One thing I found was that if I put the materials on the left I have much more room for layers. I have a pretty large Monitor so it works for me.
Another thing I recently discovered that has made my life easier is the Windows 10 snipping tool. Makes taking screen shots so much easier. For anyone who hasn’t discovered this tool, check it out. 🙂
I love your “Art Fair ” You made excellent use of Pic to Painting
Dorothy,
Thanks for the help but it still didn’t work…I even tried it 2019. What do ya do! 🙁
Annie,
I tried the pic to painting plugin once again but I tried to use the reset button before preview style. It’s still not working.
It’s to bad because ,like I said, I’ve used it before, on this computer and it worked but no go now.
I have Windows 10 and PSP2020 along with Pic to Painting. Pic to Painting has worked in the past but for some reason it doesn’t work now or I just don’t have the patience. It looks like it’s working but it doesn’t do anything. I reinstalled the plugin or rather fixed it. I made my photo smaller. I closed PSP and reopened it. Nothing seems to help.
I was doing an out of bounds technique and then did Carole’s technique. Her technique is not only easier but it is also more versatile. Her background can be changed and her frames can be changed. The other one you’re pretty much stuck with one background and one frame. Here are some examples.
The daffodil is Carole’s technique…
Bonnie,
You did a great job photographing the Blue Angels. You really have to be able to follow them. I got a few good ones at my grandson’s graduation from the Naval Academy at Annapolis but not as many as you managed.
Thanks for sharing these.
Nice photos , Bonnie. We have all those but our deer stay in the preserve across the river and my Lucy likes to bark at them. Once in a while they venture into the yard. I’m still trying to catch the hummingbirds..talk about flitting! The fox never gets that close but I think it is keeping the squirrels and rabbits at bay, as well as the raccoons, which is great for the vegetable garden.
I have a feeling you are farther out into the country than we are. We are on the outskirts of town but the preserve is pretty much our backyard.
It’s to bad about your invasive tree because it looks really pretty.
Looking forward to more photos. Do you have a flickr site?
If you are interested, this is mine: https://www.flickr.com/lyndadi
This is Carole’s YouTube presentation on how to make it rain…first attempt, probably need more practice.
original and edited
Still enamored by this inside/outside thing.
This is a photo that is on the April page of my Nature Conservancy Calendar. The deer is so cute.
Carole’s Lab 10 Module 5… This is fun
I made several layer duplicates of the Triangle pattern in the layers palettes and saved as a pspimage so I have the color changes at my fingertips.
Just watched Carole’s “Back Off” seminar. Learned much.
I’ve been enjoying this out of bounds technique so much that I incorporated into Carole’s seminar. Not a real difficult background erase but I like it anyway.
(the original and the edit)
Thanks Michele, I like the car also. It’s further out than the sample. You’re right, it did come from BW. My sister put me onto that….there are a lot of little things they cover but I don’t know if they are my favorite. I think I like Carole better.
Thanks, looking forward to the class tomorrow. 🙂
This is what I’ve been fooling around with. They are from other tutorials that I found. I don’t even know what it’s called but it’s fun.
Mine grape hyacinths have also been prolific as so my Tulips. My Iris were squeezing everything out so I cleaned up the garden last year and it was totally worth it. Thanks for the Kudos.
OK Carole, I made your suggested changes….I knew I forgot something. Not sure if I got the ribbon shadow right.
Minka, I love what you have done with day 7. The whole thing is perfect.
Sue , beautiful job with the birds and day 7
Minka, love your piano . The whole project is very pleasing to the eye
Royann, you sisters tribute is very nice. I might have to copy your idea for a project.
Lydia, your olalala project made me smile.
Jeanni, Love the lack of gender bias here. Also, good work, fun colors and, of course, cute boy.
Gerry, gotta love the puppies. Very nice!
Everyone is doing a stellar job and it looks like we’re all having fun. 😀
Vicki, love your old photos and your tribute to your uncle.
Wise Words Challenge 2020 -Day 7
YO HO HO
I made tubes of the coins, pirate, rum bottles and the yo ho ho as well as a pattern of the yo ho ho and I used a photo that I took on Navy Pier in Chicago. All kinds of interesting things going on at Navy Pier and the rest of the Lake Michigan shore line as well as in the city. Hopefully this virus thing will get solved and we can get back to it.
Thank you Annie….I agree, Lucy was a rescue 11 years ago….have not regretted bringing her into our lives for one minute.
Day 6 “Best Dog Ever
Trish,
I like your Mexico tribute… The Baja Pennisula has a special place in my heart. This reminds me of good times there
WOW, what great stories…you guys are the best 🙂
This was fun. I am trying out all the scripts that I was able to acquire in the store so I decided to put them to good use.
Day 4 of the Wise Word Challenge. All of the elements are mine except for the big stars and the BG shape.
