Hello Everyone..looking forward to this challenge
Hello Grace,
This is Lynda from Crystal Lake, Illinois. Welcome to the campus. You will find many things to learn here. Looking forward to seeing your creations.
I hope your surgery is not to serious and you are back on your feet ASAP
Wishing you well. Oh, and Happy Retirement! 🙂
Lynda
Minka,
I love your story and your layout is stellar. A real joy to look at. 🙂
Karon,
Thanks, I appreciate your input. 🙂
Everyone is doing amazing work and everyone is different, which makes it even more amazing.
This is what I’m doing in August besides picking and canning.
Module 10 Split photo
I’ve done the other parts of Module 10 but I haven’t come up with a way to use them yet.
I love Poppy..she looks just like my Crazy Cat. 🙂
Dawn, I love this. It is quite beautiful. You’ve used the cluster as well as the slats scrip to great avail. Photo choice used with the slats is spot on.
Susie,
Your babies look great…can’t beat that smile.
Minka,
Love your theme. Something worthwhile and it’s put together well.
Random Challenge
Corrie,
Nice job , beautiful photography
Scavenger Hunt Probably doesn’t make much sense but poppy is one of the August flowers, the bow was made with Carol’s bow script and her instructions on how to make felt, green is the August color and August 1st is my birthday and August 27th is my oldest son’s birthday who would have been turning 38 this year.
Hi Christina,
Thanks for the tips on how to start a project. I have no such discipline. I just kinda sit at the computer , put a line on the paper, so to speak, and hope something comes into my head. No process what so ever. I will have to try your method.
Most if not all the stuff I make I have no idea what to do with them. My big thing is photography and with this virus we are not getting out much. A person can only take so many photos of their backyard before it becomes redundant.
I’m grateful for Carole’s labs and lessons as it gives me something constructive to do and I actually learn all the little ins and outs of PSP.
Glad to see everyone’s posts. Always something good to see.
Thanks Dawn, Glad you liked my stuff. The photos are mine as are the plants…all from my yard , even the weeds. 🙂 Can’t seem to get rid of the dandelions although they make good macros.
I appreciate your generous comments

One more from the latest lab
Had trouble getting the layered effect in the latest lab so I’ve been practicing. Decided to try a cursive font and this is the result. I used Cassel’s glitter for the pattern.
Michele,
Love your reply to negative projects…very clever girl. Thanks 😀
Another negative effect
Cristina,
Actually the negative effect and the clapperboard do not require any papers or elements. The layered effect , you can use anything really, as the interior of the number or other vector you choose. I had some trouble with the layered effect. Not quite sure what I was doing wrong but I needed to adjust the number to the outline. I watched the tutorial a number of times and could not figure out what I was missing. I’ll try again when my brain clears. 🙂 By the way, if you haven’t already found hungry jpeg or pixel scrappers, they both offer freebees on a regular basis. Good luck!
Lynda
Betsy,
OMG, totally know what you are feeling. We also are looking to buy a house and it is stressful. The market is crazy. We decided to wait until spring or add onto our house to accommodate my husbands physical issues. We didn’t want to be rushed into something we would be unhappy with as it’s the last house we will be purchasing. I guess we’ll see what happens.
Good Luck to you. I hope you find what you are looking for. Don’t settle!
Working on Lab 10-07 Negative effect, Layered Shape, and Clapperboard
Michele, Love your retro denim
Cristina, I agree, the bow scripts are a wonder to watch. 🙂 Nice layout!
Bonnie, Your chalk message is so sweet. Lucky Aunt Bonnie!
Carole,
Yes, they are fun. Thanks!
More shoes… 🙂
I love this Betsy. Well thought out and very attractive. <3
Now I’m fooling around with Carole’s shoe presets. So much to do, so little time.
Thanks to all who made such nice comments on my heart mask. I really appreciate it.
Bonnie, Cristina, April…hope I didn’t miss anyone.
Dawn, glad things are getting better but I agree, precautions are the name of the game right now. 🙂
Karon, you have done a great job on all of your scrap pages. Love the B&W photos! keep up the good work. 🙂
Thanks Dawn, I appreciate your feedback. I agree, the maskmaker is pretty cool and Carole’s RasterToMask is also pretty useful. Have a good one and stay safe. 🙂
Still playing with masks. This is just to see if I could make something of the cass-maskmaker
Thanks so much Christina for your kind words. I to have been a bit slower as we have been looking at houses. Seems my husband and our dog need a ranch style…stairs are getting to much for both of them.
I’m still working on the travel tale too. I needed a break to clear my head a bit for that.
Anyway, hope to see more from you soon. 🙂
