I know it doesn’t look like it but I did follow the tutorial but then went off trail and got this. Changing the original template to be used as a mask etc was enlightening.

I worked my way through Lab 11-2 . Banner letters , Stitched shape, and Word in a letter. I actually made a whole Alphabet. That was fun! 🙂

We have around 15 or 20 inches….starts and stops also. Nothing today but it’s pretty cold. No photos because my husband keeps the snowblower going so it doesn’t get out of hand and our city is pretty diligent as far as keeping the streets plowed. 4:30 AM and they are there.. We were looking at photos from another snow storm and it looks pretty much like yours. Cars were snowed in. Yea, snow day! I was driving the school bus at that time so it was 8 plus years ago. With retirement we are usually in Arizona or some other warm place. Covid kept us home this year.
I hope you are having some fun in the snow. I loved it when the kids were home and younger. It was play time for us.

Love your Fairy Wren. I originally asked in this message if this is the natural color or digitally enhanced. Never mind, I just looked it up and discovered this if the natural color. I’ve never seen a bird like this. Very pretty.

Karon,Congratulations to your daughter. Great accomplishment. We need all the good teachers we can get. Beautiful tribute to all her hard work. To bad you couldn’t celebrate as you would like but I’ll just bet you are planning a shebang for when you can. I like your Volleyball layout too.

Agreed…I’ve been listening to President Biden and it seems he has hit the ground running. Trying to get the virus in hand, The World Health Organization and the Climate Agreement, etc, etc. Seems the World leaders are also breathing a sign of relief. President Biden and Vice President Harris (love that) have a high hill to climb but I have faith. I am hoping trump will answer for his high crimes and misdemeanors but who knows? I just want sanity!
Cristina and Annie, I can’t tell you how happy we are to have sane leadership. I know Joe and Kamela have a high hill to climb but at least I know they are working for America and the world. We’ve been watching the doings since 6:30 this morning and it seems like just a moment.
Our new President and Vice President will be inaugurated tomorrow, Wednesday the 20th at 12:01 PM. I felt it would be appropriate to make something to celebrate this historic day. All I can say is finally and stay safe!
