Nice job Linda, Love your sunflower with the linoleum . Works well.
Lynda
Thanks Annie, pretty neat technique
Lynda
Cristina,
Thanks so much for the idea of meshing linoleum papers, using the smoke texture and filling shapes. This morning I found myself obsessed with the idea and here are a few that I came up with.
Again Thanks,
Lynda
Monique,
I love Elmo…he certainly looks like he didn’t take any guff. So sorry he is no longer with you. It’s hard to lose a beloved pet.
Lynda
I was messing around with the watercolor background in the creative scrap area and one of the backgrounds that I came up with was this. While I liked it, it’s very dark and it took me a few minutes to figure out where I could use it. Dawned on me that the Renaissance Faire uses a lot of dark colors so this is what came of it.
One more just for the heck of it. This is my husband on his horse in 1980
This is in remembrance of one of the best love stories I have had the privilege to witness, my mother and father in-law, Sam and Terri. Sadly both are no longer with us.
Since I didn’t use the tutorial for, Max I did this one for the tut.
I tried Carole’s instructions for saving a mask and it worked perfectly. Thanks Carole
Day 5
My subject here are two of my grandchildren. Tony is in college now and Haley, the only girl of 5, is in high school. These photos were taken on a visit to Texas, where they live, at the Shawnee Trail. They have a baby brother , Max, who is 10 now.
I’m going to use Carole’s instructions on how to save masks.
Minka,
Love your puzzle layout. Very clever and well done. I am thinking you used Carole’s puzzle script. It’s a good one.
Lynda
Annie,
Funny you should say that about Selleck and Loren. That has actually been said before. Not so much anymore. 🙂
Lynda
Yes Susan, she is quite beautiful . Isn’t it nice to have these old photos of our family. Even though we didn’t know them when the photos bring us closer and we realize they actually had a life before us.
Lynda
Ann,
Your baby is “magic”
Jnet,
You must be getting some great days with Nathan. Beautiful.
Lynda
Sue,
Love your “girls” I’m jealous

Lynda
Jennifer,
‘Beautiful old timey layout. Love the photos
Lynda
Barbara,
I love your dress story. Gave me a smile and your layout is really good too.

Day 4
I used two brushes, actually 3 because the wildflowers are also brushes. The background is from PBS-Escale which was red but I changed it to blue.

Day 3
I made the background using a text that I have. I used two masks from Pixel Scrappers, one that Carole provided and another from the same set. These are photos from our wedding and song lyrics that mean something to us. (The Carpenters and Christopher Cross)

Oh my, the puppies, the kitties and the sweet sweet faces of all the babies , some who would probably take offense at being called babies. All the children are our babies as far as I’m concerned. These really are sweetness overload! Aren’t we all lucky?
Annie,
Awww, I love your backyard romance.
finally found photos I wanted to use for Day 2. These are photos of my sisters and me at different stages of life. I used one of my cloud photos for the background and stuck pretty much to the Day 2 template.
Beautiful job done by all . The babies are adorable.

Everyone has done such a great job.. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
Annie – love your “Love Birds”
Gerry – your baby is beautiful and your page if fine
Carole,
I just used a different mask. Actually, I think it’s one of yours as I have it labeled as Cass-PhotoMask-Heart01. I did change the template so I could put photos into the little squares but decided against using them. I used your Custom Playing Card script for the cards.
Kind of went of script…hope you don’t mind!
Love your overlay , Minka
Everyone is doing great <3
Jennifer,
I love your day one. Old photos are the best.
