This is a scrap page using Elif Sahin’s Frame Shadow Effect on DigitalScrapbook.com
I arranged her frames and turned them into masks, added photos
Thanks Susan and Michelle… I do find the diamond slat script fascinating.
We are on the road so most of the time I don’t have an opportunity or a connection to do much. We did buy a hot spot at Best Buy yesterday. Seems to work pretty well. The little box was $50 and it is pay as you go, so you can choose your 30 day plan.
I haven’t been able to work on the scripting class but I will catch up when we settle someplace for a longer period of time. We expect to be in Pahrump, Nevada for 2 months. I signed up for the Scrap by Number…We’ll see how that goes.
Take care
Lynda
Again, my Mom in diamond slats…. a very versatile script.
Also inspired by Cassel’s diamond slats, this is a photo of the church where the service was held for my mother’s funeral. She lived a good long life (95) and is probably the best person I ever knew.
Inspired by Cassel’s diamond slats… I put each slat on a new layer then used clip to it to put photos of my parents from WWII in the slats. Mostly my Dad but my Mom is in two of them. My Dad was a pilot and my Mom was a nurse. They met in the service and married.
I finally got my 2022 to co-operate with lesson7. Had to uninstall and re-install. I was able to add 3 more circles to the lesson 3 script that I had created a circle with. The script now asks 4 times for materials and then executes 4 circles of the chosen materials.. Need to practice but it was nice to get it working properly
Lesson 6 of 2 – Dictionary
I followed the lesson and changed the print around and then tried to add more than one print command and it seemed to work. I will go over the lesson again. Carole makes it seem easy but I think practice is in order. 🙂
This is a screenshot of the SOP. I’ve separated the outputs to make it easier to see.
Lesson 5-1- try-except I like this because you can’t always tell if a script needs an open document. This way it doesn’t matter one way or the other. I imagine the try-except command can be used in other ways also.
I ran the script with and without an open document. I shaded the first SOP command image so it would be easier to see the difference.
Thanks for the extra spacing of the lessons. I need it to catch up and I guess I’m not the only one. 🙂
This is Lesson 03 of 1- Text editor
I started off with the rectangle which was fine and then I tried to change it to a circle. The circle was placed up in the right-hand corner and much of it was off the page. I finally figured out how to place it in the center. Same for the star but it was totally off the page. Changing the placement became clearer in Lesson 04.

Been busy with the house selling so I’m a bit late but I’ll try to keep up.
Day 2- The Garden – In the Beginning
Hi Fiona,
To answer your question, I put each photo on a separate layer, arranged them to my liking, and then merged them down until all the photos were on one layer. You could also hide all the layers that you DON’T want to merge and then use “merge visible to a new layer”. That way you can keep all the photos on their own layer and still have a merged copy.
Hope that was helpful
BTW nice to meet another vegetable gardener 🙂

I originally wanted to do 4 Seasons but couldn’t think of one photo to depict the title. Then I decided to do the garden so here are two. Maybe I’ll find something to cover all the seasons later if not I’ll go with the garden.

Thanks, Cristina, much appreciated. Love your pages. Don’t know how you keep track of all the things you use to create them.
Mary, South Dakota, a great place to visit. Love your Corn Palace photos. They actually change the murals on it every year. Pretty impressive!
Again, everyone is doing a great job.
We are in the process of selling our home and it’s pretty unnerving. We have to pack ourselves up and our very old dog and get out while there are people are looking at the house. Still don’t really know why but it is what it is. Cuts into my creativity. I don’t like it one bit!
Keep the projects flowing. I love seeing what everyone comes up with. 🙂
This photo is for Mary. Corn Palace from 2016- 2017 and they were working on it at the time I took this photo. Thought you might find it interesting.
Everyone is doing such a great job. Wonderful stories and places.
Sorry I was not able to participate this time…moving is a real pain in the tush! Sore from head to toe. We’ll get through it and I’ll be back. Keep up the good work everyone. 😉
Thanks Ann, Glad you liked it.
I got the guitar from
Just one image that I duplicated twice, put them in the correct configuration, merged, duplicated again and flipped horizontal.
And the wind:

The wind was blue and I changed it to black
Both of this links have a ton of pngs and I pretty sure they are all free.
Thanks so much Corrie. It’s nice to have a sympathetic soul. I think when all is said and done we will be happier for it too. Glad to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. 🙂
Wow Annie, You are just going to town with this color palette. Very, very nice!
After 30+ years we are packing up our house to make a move. OMG, you never know how much you accumulate and how many memories are in a house until you decide to move. It’s exhausting. We haven’t been traveling since last March because of the virus so if I’m able to make time to do this challenge it will be of past adventures. I’ll do my best to participate.
Good Luck to all and have fun.
Susanne L,
Please don’t stop creating. This is truly spectacular. I imagine this is from “Twilight”?
As far as your English, I know of English speakers that don’t do anywhere near as well. if you really want some correction, “It takes too much time to always use the translator.”or “” It takes to much time to use the translator all the time”. Of course the English language is quirky. Just for fun this is an example of “quirky”.

As far as Cassel, don’t think she would have a problem with using unlimited filters. Ask her..she’s a great teacher.

I used the palette to make the bricks that seem to be a popular design choice above kitchen sinks and ovens now a days.
Not anything special. I used Lab 9-5 to make the bricks , the June palette and a small inner bevel
