Again for the song challenge, Waylon Jennings, another favorite. One photo is Getty Images, the other two of Jennings are from the internet but there was no name on them The background is a photo I took at Santa Monica Beach in California and I used some PSP frames.

Mary,
I sent it as a reply in e-mail
Lynda
Mary,
Sure, would you like the larger version?
Lynda
Again I went with John Prine one of the most prolific singer/songwriters of our time and one of my favorites.
This is from his album “Aimless Love”, “Be My Friend Tonight”
I was going to use “Thankyou for Being a Friend” too but you all beat me to it. Wondering if you know that it was written and performed by Andrew Gold before it ended up on the Golden Girls. I never heard his name before but it seems he was a success in his early 20’s. Just a little fun fact.
Marie-Claire,
You did a beautiful job on this fanned layout. I always appreciate good photography and this is pretty da** good.
Looking forward to more! 🙂
Lynda
I was working on the latest lab and I put a photo of my mother and father’s wedding in the tattered frame. Besides following Carole’s instructions, I added a texture to the frame. I added another frame that I can’t remember where I got it or perhaps it’s a script.. if anyone knows where it came from, that would be nice! Used Carole’s clip to it script. (one of my favorites) added names and date.
Sue,
Beautiful photography. You are very lucky to have these little critters around! Your layout and verse is also great.
Thanks for sharing this.
Lynda
I agree with Corrie, the alphabetical index is very helpful.
Corrie,
Thanks, I like the aquaponics idea also. I’m wondering if this can be used in a basement so it doesn’t have to be shut down in the winter. I will have to look into it.
Thanks Michele 🙂
Bonnie,
Bird TV! Gotta love our kitties!
I was just messing around with a image and some backgrounds from Creative Fabrica. I turned the eyes image into a png then I changed the eye color from blue to brown and green and put them on one of the backgrounds. Added a PSP frame.
Christina,
That was silly sending Annie a message when she probably can’t see it as of yet. Perhaps you can relay my message to her.
Thanks,
Lynda
Annie,
How are things going now? I hope improvements have been made. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Sue, I also find rime to be interesting and beautiful. I have a few photos of it myself although not as beautiful as your leaf.
Thanks Ann, It certainly is a challenge. Been in our house since 1989 so it isn’t easy. We are moving into a ranch (no stairs) closer to our son which will be nice.
We are looking at a new house to purchase so this seemed to be timely.
Corrie and Sue, you both hit it out of the ballpark. Carole, you too. Especially “E”. 🙂

Hi Ann,
Glad you like the Biosphere layout. It is a fascinating place. Definitely worth the time. I believe you want to see the sign in the right bottom corner, so here it is. 🙂 The photo above the sign is a representation of growing food without soil. It has three containers that step down and one of the steps is water with fish in it. The fish fertilize the crops. I have been thinking of trying this myself.
B for Biosphere
I used Carole’s polaroid script to frame the photos, all mine, taken in Arizona at the Biosphere. This doesn’t even cover most of what this fascinating project has to offer. A must see if you are ever in the area.

Mary , I really like what you did with 6-12. It inspired me to go over the labs again. Of course I don’t have a clue as what to do with the game board but you evidently did. Good job!
Minka, I have to agree with everyone else. You’ve made me remember how I loved a snowy day and how much fun we had when my children were small. Thanks for the memories! 🙂
My sketch challenge is using Carole’s sketch layout with a few changes, background is color taken from the photos and a texture. Frame colors are also taken from the photos. I took the photos on our recent trip to Arizona, Nevada and California. Death Valley is a wonder to see.
I was working on the new lab. I got to the colored tape and got distracted by this idea. The tape worked perfectly for the background.
This was created with Carole’s mask and her 2021 template. I changed it to 2022. Thanks, Carole!

This is Lucy….trying to keep her safe too!
It was a bit difficult getting around her big ears. It’s not great but it is what it is. 🙂 I made the treat image with the pen tool, added it to Carole’s mask, then skewed it to fit on Lucy’s nose.
Love these..everyone came up with beautiful and creative ideas.
We are in Nevada visiting with my sister and the two of us took a little ride to the California border to get lottery tickets (no, didn’t win). I did take a few photos of Death Valley Junction which is an historic site that has 4 residents. Interesting history! This is from the latest lab 11-11, used Cassel’s flip it up and clip to it scrips and layout by Lovemygirl

finally got a bit of time to get to the latest master class. Very interesting, I learned a few new things about vector layers. This is pretty much a copy of what Cassel was doing so really nothing new.
