No use of texture in the letters because I wanted to hold on to the bright colours like the Andy Worhall effect for the photo’s. Playing with text is FUN !
Carole, I used for the paper of day 3 a free silver background FPTFY (?) that I found on the internet, than changed the colors into the colors of the boots.
For today … this is a PSP image that I made earlier and now just added the text. Because i’m making lots of mask there is no time for spending hours behind the computer.
Day 3: This is my granddaughter showing her new boots by dancing around.
The text says:
dance with me each morning, dance with me each night, dance with me when you are sad untill you cheerful smile!
We miss are grandchildren because of the lockdown, so now I will smile with this picture on our foto-frame!
Many beautifull work here: congratulations everyone!
Day two: friendship can be a brigde over the troubled water in the whole world with the corona virus …
So glad with this challenge to make my day plesant.
Indeed, the story link is not working, however we are patient … thanks!
Day one:
Pictures taken on januari 2020.
- Suske and Wiske are stripfigures from Willy Vandersteen, it was a celebration of the 75 anniversary of the strips with 10 free tulips for everyone!
Nice to have a new challenge, I also signed up. Thanks!
Last challenge …
dank je wel Cassel voor deze leerrijke ervaring!
Fantastisch hoe er velen enthousiast hebben deelgenomen.
Ik heb met veel plezier alle kunstwerken bekeken!
Proficiat iedereen!
Day 6: … waiting untill my grandchildren went home after a ‘sleepover’ to start on this new project …
Nice how we learn to make the bokeh in PSP!
Went well with the original lights in the picture.
Day 5 : no stars used in the masker layer.
The star is another granddaughter.
I have used masker-layers put some layers together, again new masker-layers and so on.
Sue: your beautifull work with the owls …
Learning PSP (or other programs) for beginners we have a saying:
Iedere wijze uil was ooit een uilskuiken!
Each wise owl was in the beginning a ???
Others: thanks for sharing the name of the fonts. Realy like the handwriting fonts like ‘Sophistica’
I have to admit, like Barbara said, I don’t use the shortcuts …
I digitise a lot for embroidery and … my brain can not remember those shortcuts. (grrrrr)
Everyone: beautifull pages in scrapbooking!!!
Me myself I use PSP for my pictures in family-friends-wedding- albums, and I’m learning here a lot!
The pictures of the birds are really spectacular!!!
Day 4: playd with several masker-layers
Nice to make your own background paper with simular colours as the photo used!
Cassel thanks for showing how to adjust the space between the lines.
This is our granddoughter (with great love) at the age of 15 months … a couple of years ago.
Hi, I enjoid the first bootcamp!
So, with great pleasure I will take ‘the challenge’!
Help … : How can you change the space between the words (vertical), I tried many things …
Day 1!
In the frist place: THANKS TO YOU Cassel!
It was fun and a pleasure to be in this bootcamp.
Congratulations to the winners of the prices, I hope You enjoy it and keep on working with PSP!
Other thans the tips and tricks of the lessons, it was a course for writing and to read English … FUN!!!
Greatings to all of You!
I put all the tric’s of the other lessons into this one.
New was: to get the text from a Word document automatic in the selection area of the psp-image!
It needed me much of CONCENTRATION.
With files from lessons in evening school for adults in 2009 (That was long time ago and under dust!!!) was I again capable to make the letters with fill from the original photo.
This bootcamp was FUN, thank you Cassel!!!!
PSP is a wonderfull program, I will recommand it to others.
Jnet: c’est merveilleux de voir les Pélicans dan leurs habitat!
Ici, on peux voir des pélicans dans le Zoo d’Anvers …
For exercise and undo the mistake with the fill-tool for the frame around the foto’s:
a second scrap-page!
Cassel: The fill-tool was indeed on RGB mode instead of ‘none’
Thank you, just learned more!
Lesley: That bravery Bead Box is so beautifull!!!
T
Cassel thank you, tomorrow I try again.
Today I practice to put frames around multiply photo’s in a project.
Filling the selection border with a colour was not good.
So I made a new layer and then it went perfect.
Is this because of the hight quality of the photo’s … ?
Or did I do something wrong?
Interesting lesson!
What you show in the beginning was new for me. (Making the white around the pfoto’s in your project).
I learned to do it first on the original foto an then copi/paste to the new project.
For me it seems that the errasing tool did not do the same format up and low ….
This is my grand-daughter (then 6 years old).
She loves to ‘copy/paste’ me on my embroidery and sewing machines …
This was her project: class-doll ZOEMI (a bee !!!) needed a new sleepingbag!
Mireille,thank You for asking,
No, it was not the same colour, it was black.
Sometimes when I type a text, even when it is the top layer vector,
I can not see it on the screen or just a few letters of the text.
That makes it difficult to adjust the text, take out some writing mistakes or take another font at that moment.
Is this something in the program or my computer … (getting tired working many hours?)
I’m using PSP 2019 ultimate for this bootcamp.
In the message before I typed: friends of my DOCHTER = daughter
Thank you!
I think I’ve got a virus … scrapbooking!
This afternoon when I received the E-mail the mini download wasn’t there …
So I went looking on the internet for free clipart, templates, png etc.
such as: freeprettythingsforyou.com and pngfuel.com
Because taking pictures is one of my hobby’s, friends and family ask me for special moments …
This couple are friends of my dochter.
Sorry for language mistakes … ik spreek Nederlands!
As a teacher in primary school many years ago I always sayd to my ‘children’: do make all off your homework!
So, here my result for the first exercise: making eating sandwiches plesant for little children.
Toch een opfrissing van de mogelijkheden van PSP na een cursus in België enkele jaren geleden!
Again learning (remembering …) the trics and short cuts in PSP.
* duplicate text before converting to raster
* rotate perfectly 90° your layer
* EXIT: repait the last commando
THANK YOU !!!
I used first white for the shadows and the second time black, as you said.
Buth my preference is white, because black is not in contrast with the brown around the foto of the ‘lion-girl’ on the right. Doesn’t black makes the lay-out heavy … ?
Hallo ik gebruik al meerdere jaren PSP voor fotobewerking.
Het is een heel fijn programma, maar ik kan steeds iets bijleren of opnieuw oefenen …
Hi,I’m using PSP since many years to develop (?) my foto’s.
I love this program, buth I can always learn something new things ore practice again.
