My grandson, who is always smiling! I used the heart shape for the background pattern.
Thank you, Carole! This was a lot of fun, and I look forward to trying some of these newfound skills on my own!!
Loved doing the bokeh! Here is my granddaughter about five years ago. She has had a camera in her face from the day she was born, so she is not shy about it at all! I thought this photo went very well with the bokeh! Her face takes up the entire photo, so I didn’t unmask a lot! I previously tried this effect earlier and her face was too big!
Thank you, Cassel, you are right, just a bit of a shadow makes a big difference in being able to read the text! Also, here is my Day 5 page. We had an exchange student from Argentina staying with us. She went on a trip to California with other exchange students and got this picture of her looking out at the ocean with her Argentinian flag over her head. The paper is SP.com Festival Paper Sack and the heart is Monti.
I am so enjoying this class! Loved learning how to do masks from scratch!! Definitely another addicting activity! Here is my page for today. It was taken at a fundraiser we attended for an organization that helps children through their grief process. The photo is of two battery operated candles that we wrote our granddaughter’s name on. She died at birth. The paper is called ateets sunporch. Unfortunately, I did not note who the creator was (before I realized you should do this). The frame is from Shabby Princess and is called Festival Swirly Frame.
Day 3 was much too fun! I must have made at least 10 patterned pages. I could have played all day! I downloaded the .rar file for today, but when I tried to unzip it, I kept getting a warning that it was corrupted. So I used one of the templates from Day 1. This is our three dogs, the two in the bed together are sworn enemies, but they were sleeping together in this photo!
My husband and I are very much into Rotary, so I did today’s challenge with a photo of us at the Rotary International Conference which was held in Atlanta, GA. The background is the Rotary logo used as a pattern and the yellow and blue are Rotary’s colors. Is the background too busy?
I’m still working on the plaid pattern!
Thanks!
For some reason, I was having a really hard time with the mask yesterday. PSP just didn’t seem to be responding. But today, everything worked fine! It actually worked out better because I changed my focus. The top is our two grandchildren from my son. We lost our granddaughter from our daughter at birth, but we had this photo created for her memory, so I wanted to include it. Now all our grandbabies are included! I deleted the third photo as I felt the two represented what I wanted to represent. Thanks, Cassie! I am learning a lot.
Okay, I’m breaking down and trying this challenge! I used PSP many years ago to create my own stuff, but I am very, very rusty and ready to try again!!
