Hello Bonnie, the french girl would like to know: what does WTG stand for :-)?
Z = Zodiac
W = White dwarf
V = Variable star (“fluctuates in brightness”)
Ups, sorry, I just saw it, I did the same proposition for R twice, here another one.
R = Red giant
S = Supernova
R = Ring galaxy (the ring is said to “contain luminous blue stars”)
O = Orbit
N = Nova
M = Meteor
L = Lunation ( the cycle between one new moon and the next one)
K = Kelvin (temperature scale which is also used in astronomy)
J = Jansky ( a unit used in radio astronomy, it was Karl Jansky who developed radio astronomy)
C = Cassiopeia
S=Supergiant
R= Ring galaxy
H = Halo (circle of light appearing to surround the sun or moon and resulting from refraction or reflection of light by ice particles in the atmosphere from = Merriam-Webster dictionary definition) I discovered a halo for the first time in January and February and tried to know what it was.
G = Galaxy (system of about 100 billion stars)
F = Fusion (nuclear fusion) “supports the star’s enormous mass from collapsing in on itself and heats the star so high that it glows and is so bright that we can see it.”
C=Crêpe de Chine
B=Bouclé
Sewing seems to be inspiring 🙂
P = princess seam
K= knife pleat
V= virtual sewing
