Thank you, that’s great. I have no idea if I ever changed that, I think it was like this by defaut when I installed pspX2 because I never changed it, also not after changing computers last november.

I’ll try that for the linked layers.

Just did that, still crashing, I have no idea why, it’s running in pspX2.

I made a screenshot of the scriptoutput so you can see where it crashes. No error as it just stops and I have to close psp.

Just started working with PSP X8 and I’m very happy with it. It looks very different as the X2 version I used before, but I’ll get used to it.

One thing I’m missing though, is having several images open and visible in the workspace, like it was possible to do in X2. Now I have to change tabs to see the different images and can not see them all in once.

Is there a way to change this?

And another one is the little chain to attache some layers together so that I can move them together. I still see the chain, but in X2 I could click right and I had numbers to group them, now I can not do that anymore and it’s not possible anymore to do that. So the other way is to make groups I think, but it was a lot easier with the chain, I could attach together the elements I wanted to move together and easily change and add or remove one or detache them again.

oh thank you, tried that one, and it’s working, PSP is seeing filters unlimmited and Eye candy 5 now.

Very happy, all set up to use my new paint shop X8 now.

thanks for the answer. Pretty cool if all custimization is done in both a the same time. So I’ll go for the 32 bit version and see if I can get Eye candy installed. If not, well I’ll use that one in PSPX2.

I still didn’t use all tools. I just started to design some images like journal card etc. Will go and try the text tool next.

Some tools gives me surprises as the windows with that opens with the settings are a bit different.

Have to get used to the little pictogrammes in my toolbar too as most are slightly different from the old version.

I did find that, I just thought it was the same version, but now I see a little 32 in the corner of the thumbnail. So I opened that one, and in fact that one is seeing one more plug in altough I have no Idea what it is, named KTP collection. Changed the preference to my plugin folder. And now it’s seeing Mura’s meister and some other filters, like filters unlimited. No Eye candy yet (only an old version 3.1 I have too) but normally I have to install Eye Candy 5. I did it for psp x2 so maybe I have to reinstall it for this one, will try that out.

I do see my own workspace there too. Some of the preferences I made in the 64 version are there, others not and I have to repoint them.

Is there any other difference between the 64 and 32 version? Or is it exactly the same?

Thank you for your answer. Yes I do remember, the stupid thing is, I have no idea how to run the 32 bit version, I don’t see any shortcut or can’t find it in the corel file.

I just got psp X8, I was the lucky one that got it on the contest a few weeks ago, (thanks again Cassel, I am really very happy with it)

So I’m trying to get used to it and work in it. Got my workspace set up with my favorite tools. Did all the file locations to be sure to be able to have all brushes etc.

Now I’m trying to get my plug ins working, but X8 doesn’t see any of them.

I love MuRa’s Meister, but X8 doesn’t see it. it works great in X2 but I would like to know if it’s possible to get it work in pspX8 (64 bit), same thing for filters unlimited.

Is it possible to also intal Eye Candy 5? I already have it installed in X2, can I also instal it in X8 or will that give problems?

                      thanks for your help

I had the same problem with the thumbnails with my new version of windows 7 ultimate, and I also had to by Mystic Thumbs, it’s the only way for me to see thumbnails.  There is no other free software that works. I tried lots of them. Mystic thumbs is the only one working. It’s a great program and I use it since november 2015 with out any problems

This one is made following the pinned paper tutorial here:

                            Pinned Paper

I tried different elements with this technique

my stores are giving me .aco files mostly color paletes made in photoshop. I always ask a jpg files with the colors, but some stores are very slow with giving them and I loose a lot of time waiting for the colors.

I guess I did not post it in the right place, so I copy it here:

As lately I got lots of scripts from Cassel with ribbons I used lots of ribbons in this page.

So from the store I used several knot scripts and the ribbon tag script.

Free from the blog is the little knot on the left of the frame

And a technique from the campus I used the simple photo border and the polka dot pattern although that is hard to see as I used cany corns for the patterns instead of dots.
