Also Carole:  I had to redo the Resize-Image.   The text on the mat did not follow through.  Maybe my computer had a glitch.   It was running rather slowly at the time.   Took forever when I clicked on File to get the “save as”…   I turned it off and it seems alright now.

Here is my last project.  I must say, I’m a little sad it’s over.  I like having homework to do.   Left on my own, I don’t think I would keep it up.  But having a time limit and seeing others doing the same thing (with different results) is fun.

Carole, let me know if there’s another such “bootcamp”.   And to everyone else:  hope to see you in some forums from time to time….

Carole:  I can’t seem to Undo the selection with Ctrl-D.    The selection is still there.   I have to click on Pan to get rid of it.

Weird… or just me not doing something right….

What I learned from this bootcamp so far?  A lot of stuff.   Every project taught me something.   I’ve had just about every version of Paintshop Pro but only used it very little on pictures.

I wish I were artistic.   My projects were almost always a very close copy of what Carole made,  because I cannot envision all of the little artistic things to embellish the pages.

I really enjoyed the bootcamp because it taught me so much about PSP.

          Thanks again Carole….

Carole, thanks for the tutorial on using “Changing color”..   I will look at it this afternoon….  I’m sure it will help with my Materials palette….

Well, here goes my “Busy bees” project.   It went well except for the white border.   At the beginning, “Flood fill” was at RGB instead of none.   Not much was changing in my border.   Finally figured it out.   Learning something every day.  Such fun.   Merci Carole.

Hi Carole,. In answer to your question on how I tried to change the color (Problem 1),  the layer was active and I tried to change the color with the materials palette.  I chose the color on materials palette then chose the flood tool but nothing happened.

Wow Carole, what a day!  I spent hours trying to make the butterfly with picture tubes.  I tried to do it on my own, but ended up with 216 layers!  So I then went to your webinar on picture tubes.  A big help.  I must say I learned a lot today.  It would be nice if now I would remember everything I saw.

Problem 1:  I tried changing the color on the 2 small horizontal rectangles as they blended too easily with the background.  No way could I do it.  I guess in hindsight, I should have tried changing the background color instead.

Problem 2:  I could not see all of my images or the title of them.  I must have clicked on something.  I kept having to go to Window – cascade… to find the image I was working on to copy on my project.

Butterfly:   I went to Pixel scrapper to get most of the stuff, including an outline of a butterfly.  I then inverted the butterfly image and used a picture tube to put glitter on the outside (this time without 216 layers).  I then inverted the image again and deleted the butterfly.   I was left with only the outline with glitter.  Pretty cool.   Saw it in your webinar.

Thanks for keeping me so busy on this blustery day!

Here is my project.  I subscribed yesterday to Pixel Scrapper and downloaded some stuff which I then used today.  Having some trouble at times with the Materials palette and also clicking on the text inside the selection to be able to highlight it.  Practice makes perfect!   Have a great day everyone!

                      Thanks Trish,

I live in the country.  Rural area in Quebec.  The town’s name is Ogden.  The pic is from the deck of a little cabin we have.

                          Hi Lynda,

Thanks for the welcome.  Yes, the picture is mine.   It is the view I get from our little camp in the woods!

Well, here is my sandwich.   After resizing the image.   I did not know if I should save it as JPG or PPSimage to upload.  I saved to JPG to make sure not to take up too many bites!

No tomatoes in my sandwich…   I don’t care for them….

                              Hello everyone,

My name is Denise and I am VERY new to this.  I know I’m a couple of days behind but I’ll try and catch up.  I’m using PSP ultimate 2020 but could use a lot of help with the basics.   So, even if I don’t know anything about scrapbooking, I’m sure I’ll pick up some great help from this bootcamp.
