Michele, your cards are lovely!

Here’s my Day 7. It’s of my grandson when he had his adenoids removed. I’ve enjoyed this bootcamp. Thank you Carole. This has really helped me get through a pretty rough time. I’ve learned a new way to add borders to photos and to resize squares, etc. I used Boo Boos and Bandaids Kit by A-Manda Creations. I tried to find a link, but it must be retired.

This is a good problem to have. This Boot Camp is so successful, there is no way I can keep up with all the posts. I see them, in that I get emails about every one and I always look. I just do not have the time to reply to them all. I am loving what the newbies are posting as well as the “oldies”! I find it fun to see how everyones layouts look so different!
Great Job everyone!

I love seeing how everyone makes Carole’s layout in her video their own. It is the personal touches that makes them special. I don’t reply to every post, but all of you are doing great projects and I love seeing them.

DeLoris
LOL The title fit the situation! See? You can make a layout of anything! Giggle! Thanks for the chuckle!

That recipe was a disaster that tasted awesome! We had that strawberry gel everywhere! But, it was fun! I’m loving everyones results!

In the newsletter today, Carole had a tut for Out Of Bounds. Here’s my results:

I’m loving seeing where everyone is from, their comments and their sandwiches. I did not do lesson 1 & 2 because I had done them before. Here is my lesson 3. It is of my grandson Danny when he was a baby. He’s almost 12 now and I have to admit, I miss him being little.
I hope everyone is learning lots and seeing how much fun making layouts are! Thanks Carole!

I just watched the 1st class.
I keep my workspace pretty simple. Here are my settings;
Dk Gray Background and White and Lt Gray Blank Image
Toolbars: script, standard, status, tools
Palettes: layers, materials, tool options
Icons for: manual color correction and reset dialog preferences

Welcome Darlene! I wish you well in learning PSP X6. It is a far cry from PSP 9, but you just need to learn what they renamed some of the things and where they put them. Personally, I think Corel is bad for that. But, I kept pressing on and I always got the newest version. Now that I’m 68 and my family is balking at me taking their pictures anymore, I will have to rethink getting the next version.
Big Hugs,
DeLoris
Sue, you must miss England like I do Virginia. I have been here since 1968 and it has never felt like home. If you like wheat, soybeans and corn, you would like West Central Ohio. I hope you enjoy the classes and your layout (page) is wonderful!
Happy Birthday & enjoy PSP 2019!

Grace,
I think we all our worst critics! Everyone sees things differently. Hopefully the class will help you become more comfortable with what you create. I’m preaching to the choir here, I find fault with everything I do! Want an example of what we see? Post a pic in the facebook group and let members make a layout with it. You will be pleasantly surprised at the results! Also, you can always post a layout and ask for advice. Everyone is here to help, not criticize.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Teresa! You would probably be surprised at how many people still use PSP 9. No matter the version, you should have fun and learn lots!

I love to use Page Pro Curl to put a slight curl on the corner of a picture. I add a drop shadow 1st and make it it’s own layer, them apply the filter to the picture. Here’s the effect. The lower left corner is lifted.

Thank you Annie!

Thank you Michele, I like that header too. Heidi didn’t eat the pretzel, she was just nosy and wanted to play with it for a few seconds. Sorry, they are all gone now, I gave most of them to a friend! 🙁
I like your year in review page! It’s good you keep your resolutions. I never have! LOL

Hi all!
I’m DeLoris from Sidney, Ohio. I have been PSPing since 2000. I use PSP 2019. I love making pages for my yearly photo books and then I turn them into slide shows as well. I’m looking forward to the classes and seeing everyones results and maybe learning a thing or two along the way. We tend to stick with things that are familiar to us and I am bad about that. So, anytime I get the chance to learn something new, I’m “in”!

Thank you Cristina! It made a nice memento for her and her family that is staying in Iceland.
Yeah, I think everyone is holidayed out. I know I am. Not much going on here to make pages for. My grandson just got back from his Dad’s yesterday. Plus, NO SNOW! Arrggghhhhh!
I did make a desktop out of one of my Christmas pages and changed my Facebook Header.

That would be fun! When I 1st met her, she said it is tradition in Iceland to put their babies outside everyday for naps. Plus they gave cod liver oil to kids in school daily! I wonder if that is still the case! LOL

Thank you Michele,
I’m excited to see Sig!
Your tags are darling!

I did a layout of a friend in Iceland and her family. She is from Iceland and moved here with her husband. When she divorced, she moved back. Her 2nd husband passed away and she is moving back in 2 weeks! I haven’t seen her is about 30 years! I wanted to make her something special so I did this layout. I struggled with how to make Merry Christmas 2018 in Icelandic. I asked the question in Facebook and got several answers, but Carole had the simplest solution. Go to Google Translate. Put in what you want and select the language you want it translated to. Copy your results and using your Text Tool, paste the words into PSP. It worked perfectly! Thank you Carole!

Gosh! So many wonderful layouts! Thank you all for your sweet comments! I’ve been sooo busy this month making animations. I don’t think I can share them here. I’ve been making buckeye candies, white choc covered pretsels and today I am making Spritz Cookies. I did just finish another layout. These are things I set out every year. I just love them!
I wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

Our family is very small (my 2 daughters and Danny). It is just us at Christmas and 2 very dear friends. We don’t buy presents for the adults, just Danny. But, I wanted to give them something special. So, I ordered mugs from Shutterfly and designed it myself. I’m going to make it a yearly tradition.

This is the 1st time I have done this, and I learned to make the design darker. This one came out a little lighter than the original design.
But, I love it and I know they will too!

Here’s a page I made using a news paper clipping of my grandson Danny when he was 8 mos old and his Papaw playing Santa. They were at a city Community Christmas dinner.
