Cassel, I used “hearts brushes.abr” that I downloaded a long time ago. It doesn’t have the name of the site/designer, and back then I was not adding this information if they were not in the file, what I do now. This set contains hearts and florals and I used a combination of both. It could have been from Fuzzimo.com / DeviantArt /Brusheezy or All-free-download, but I am not sure.
Here is Day 5… Again I had fun creating papers with kaleidoscope effect. I loved creating my first mask, but I made a few before I had one that I liked.
I used Cassel’s CornerPunches-B Brushes and for the title the StitchedEdges2 Script.
Thank you, Cassel. I have to say that since I found your site almost two years ago, I have learned a LOT with you.
This is my Day 4 page… The elements are the same I have been using… “Escale Amoureuse Partie 2” from Day 1 freebie.
I like the effect of using the brush around the photo.
The font is ChalkDust. I used Cassel’s DateStamp #5 Script.
Dawn, your card is lovely. Everything fits so well together… I love the owl image 🙂
Michele, this is also a lovely birthday card. I love the colors, the photo and the mask you used.
Sheila, it is amazing your project. It looks so real! It took many steps to make it but well worth the effort.
Great work, ladies!
Really amazing and lovely new pages here!
This is my Day 3… I made many papers with the kaleidoscope pattern because is really fun and they are so different from each other.
So, I decided to make the elements using these papers. I also use them for the adhesive tape, but those were done with Cassel’s AdhesiveTape Script. So much easier and faster!
So many lovely and meaningful new pages posted here.
I finally started this challenge and these are my pages for Day 1 and Day 2. It is always fun to participate in the challenges of the Campus and I learn a lot with Cassel’s tips and tutorials.
I haven’t done anything yet and will try sometime later, but I am loving all the pages here. Well done, ladies.
I am loving the tutorials 🙂
Dawn and Wanda (Sue), what lovely pages you have created. It is nice to come here and see these layouts. Very inspiring.
Wanda (Sue), I love the “A Man and his Dog” layout… Great technique… I also like the way you showcased the photo.
I have to go through the pages I made and see if I find something for this challenge.
Hi Dawn! 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my layout! <3
This is the layout I made to practice the 3 tutorials from the LAB 8 Module 02 (Arrow Pattern, Shaped Text, and Word Frame).
I used elements from Kristin Aagard “Great Outdoors” kit.
In order for me to have different patterns for each letter of the word (place) Farchant, I used a technique that I’ve learned with one of Cassel’s webinars.
Dawn, they are so cute! Great work!
Michele, very nice frames. I love the wood frame!
Beautiful photos and lovely inspirational quotes!
Hi, everyone 🙂 I have registered for this challenge.
Dawn, thank you <3 <3
Your card is so cute! I love it!
Marlene, very nice layout. I like the use of the filmstrip frame… different way to frame the photos and looks really good.
Dawn, the card you’ve created is beautiful. Like I said it before, your mom was a lovely lady.
Marlene, there are things that happen that we just cannot explain. This is a beautiful rose!
Hi Gail, welcome to the Campus! Your layout is very nice…. the way you used the curly brush …I also hope to see more of your creations here.
Dawn, lol 😀 Very good idea for this challenge!
Till now I cannot think of what to do with the word between… I will keep trying.
Hi Valerie, welcome to the Campus!
Dawn, thank you for commenting on my layout! 🙂 <3
Lovely layout, Michele! I love the watercolor photo (looks like at least), the colors and the mask you made. It gave a depth look.
And what a cute font with the little hearts! Great card!
This is the layout I made to practice the Lab8-01 Techniques: Plaid4 – Paper Cutout – Wood Burning. Great tutorials as always!
Shadowing is something I am still learning and I am never sure if it is correct.
I used Cassel’s Wooden Alphabet & Digits freebie. I will try and see if I can come up with something for the Word Challenge – Between
Dawn, this card is so beautiful! The frames, the flower, the twisted string and lace edge font… what an amazing effect these two. I love the textured paper, the friend sentiment.. everything 🙂 Lovely card!
Dawn, thank you so much. <3 It was also my mother… She fell at home, had 2 fractures (hip joint and leg), operation… Slowly over the last 5 months, her health began to go downhill. Like you said, their memories remain forever in our hearts.
Best wishes <3
Dawn, I am so, so sorry for your loss. :'( … I remember the lovely page you created for the 2016 Calendar Challenge with her photo. Lovely lady. I know how you feel as it happened to me too… I am kind of slow in creating layouts for the challenges but this helps to keep my mind occupied.
Take your time and when you are ready, post your lovely cards and layouts. They are an inspiration to all of us.
Best wishes to you. <3
Michele, I love you layout! Everything matches so well together and the frame really makes the page stand out. Great work!
Marlene, I always learn something from your pages. This is so interesting because I had no idea termites could build something that high and also have magnetic property. I can also see the holes in the title… nice touch. Great page!
<3
Exactly that, Michele… and besides the video that you can only watch online, you have the PDF file (downloadable) with detailed explanations and photos. Pretty nice.
Michele, I might have given the impression that you can download the videos, and I don’t think this the case… never tried 😉 But if you join the Lab they will be always available once you are logged in.
