Hi Dawn! Thank you so much for your kind comment… I really appreciate. <3 It was fun creating this umbrella. 🙂
This is my contribution to this challenge. I wanted to use a bigger photo but I didn’t have so I enlarged it using the tip I’ve learned on the Basic Scrap Course.
I made the umbrella using PSP Preset Shape, then erased the pole and created another one based on the Lab 8-Module 06 Tube tutorial. On the edges, I added cass-Rope52 Tube with the help of Vector Tube Script.
On the title “Beach” I used cass-Curved Photo Script.
Cassel’s Freebies: Summer Brushes Template (photo); Beach Alpha Letters and cass-SummerBrushes that I was lucky enough to win last week… I love these brushes and all the others.
Other freebies: eyeinspire_PSJun2018 “Places you’ll go” papers (Pixel Scrapper Blog Train) and Word Bits “And Many More” from Kristin Aagard.
Font: Delima
Annie, looking at the photos I can only imagine how beautiful was the wedding. Your layout is really great and I love it!
I am sure the couple would love very much to have it. 🙂
Cassel, this is a nice layout and I am sure this photo brings back good memories of these two little lovely kids. The sand texture is very interesting and I remember that there was a challenge to use this technique.
Annie, I just love, love, love <3 the higgledy-piggledy title! Don’t be surprised if you see something similar in my layouts 😀 … I guess I just need lots of time LOL. Great pages!
Three amazing layouts…Dawn, you created a lovely background scene and I especially love the trees, subtle but they draw attention. I have the emboss script and I love it. The embossed butterflies background looks great! Good work!
Annie, when I joined the Campus I started with the Start Here tutorials and they are great. I love the patterned black paper as a background… the photos and elements really stand out. Great job!
Michele, looking at your layout, nobody will say you are a rookie at scrapbooking. The whole page is great and I love the badge with the kitty face… And I like as well the way you mixed the patterned papers. With the knowledge and experience you have creating daily images for your game page, I think you are more than ready to make any scrapbook page you want. Lovely work!
Annie, beautiful layout and beautiful young ladies!
Dawn and Annie, thank you so much for your kind comments and incentive. I really had to work hard to come up with this end result LOL. I’ve made lots of chrome elements, tubes with different patterns, different techniques for the title etc… But in the end, I see it as a learning process 🙂
Annie, thank you so much for your explanation of how you made the alpha (Jun 25th). <3 …And you made great layouts based on the Start Here Tutorials… I am really in love with the Lovebirds page. Lovely work!
Thank you, Michele! I am glad I am not alone 😀
I think I am not allowed to post here the links… please check FB
Thank you, Michele! I am happy I am not alone :D…

About two, three years ago (could be more) this site was taken down for whatever reason –don’t know for how long– and since it is back the links to download the files are not working and some of the images are gone, but it is well explained.
Here is the layout I made to practice the tutorials from the Lab8-M06 (Chrome, Tube and Uneven Tape). It was one of those that I was never satisfied, created and deleted so many elements, changed the template, title… In the end, when I thought it was a little better I decided to finalize and move on to another challenge. 🙂
I started with the template Photo Mat Full Template from Scrapping with Liz.
From Cassel: building block and crochet lace tubes, ricrac Script… Also button and lined overlay tutorials. The stained glass digit and patchwork title are old tutorials from the internet (PSPUG)
Michele, you achieved a very nice vignette effect and created a lovely layout. Well done.
Annie, your DandeLion is awesome 😀
I am so behind with the challenges. I just finished one layout today and let’s see what else I can do.
Annie, another nice layout… and a lovely journaling. 🙂
Wow, terrific layouts posted here!
DeLoris, I am glad to know that this cute cat is doing well. Lovely layouts!
Annie, this Basic Scrap Course is really good, as we learn not only about scrapbooking but so much more… so many tips and tricks. Your layouts are terrific and I loved the Street Urchins one… almost no color but it draws attention.
Dawn, I love your cards… this one is so elegant and delicate…Lovely!
Michele, your granddaughter is a cute young lady… I don’t know why but her physique du role reminded me of a ballerina. 🙂
Amazing what we can do after watching Cassel’s webinars… I am always learning… great work!
Arlene, what a terrific work you did with the old photo!
Sheila, they are beautiful!!
Michele, lovely card! The flower image is so cute and has a very nice texture… The kaleidoscope effect turned out great… And I love the bow, what a great script… The font fits perfect… Great work!
Annie, lovely layout and journaling. Smells really bring back memories… I remember going into a shop years ago and smelling a perfume that immediately reminded me of my mother using it when she was going out. It brought back good memories from more than 40 years ago… and in the end, I had to buy it. 🙂
Like Michele, I like the title very much and was wondering how you made it. Great work!
Dawn, I am so happy you are back! I do hope that the problem is solved but just in case, what about downloading another browser, like Chrome for example? So, if in one doesn’t work you will always have another. 🙂
Your double page is beautiful… the colors and tones… I love the title with the chrome effect and the way you arranged it. Great layout!
Annie, I am in love with the Summer-1… The photo is beautiful, I love the colors and all the techniques you used, and the way you used different patterned papers. Love it! <3 … Also the Summerfun-1, it looks great the black and white background with the yellow paper, the photo’s frames and, and, and 🙂 Great work!
Annie, thank you. <3 …. I am still learning how to scrapbooking as I only started doing it two years ago when I found the Scrapbook Campus… That’s why I scraplift here and there 😀 … Hugs
Annie, what a cute Lil’ Morticia! I guess she loved to dress up. Lovely layout!
Thank you, Sheila. <3
Annie… “I would be most welcome”…”It is nice to dream of“… So you are withdrawing the invitation? 🙁 :'( … And I was already packing! LOL LOL
Usually, I prefer a simpler layout, but IMHO I find this one very good because the background has a subtle color and the details are colorful and blend well together. Well done! I like to work sometimes with templates because I do things outside my comfort zone.
Thank you, Michele <3
Hi Annie 🙂 These lessons from the Lab are great, and this project is so nice. I checked online and saw that the lodges, besides this beautiful scenery, also have an amazing sea view… So, I will accept your invitation, my friend! 😀 LOL
Hi Dawn! 🙂 Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate!
I have one folder just for Cassel’s freebies and I like to go through it when I am making a layout… As I was looking for flowers elements this was perfect.
Next time you come by, take one minute more and upload your great projects! 😉 😀
Best wishes
Michele, this is so cute! And I like very much the font. Lovely work.
Thank you, ladies! <3
Annie, another beautiful project!
This is my contribution to this challenge. As a base, I used the template from the Lab 7-09. All papers are from Day Dreams ‘n Designs (May Blog Train).
Freebies from Cassel: Flower Power Sample (Flower Power Script) and Star Confetti Tube.
I also used from Cassel the StitchEdges2 Script for the title and Crochet Lace Edge Tube.
