Sue, hearting your comment, my friend! <3
Hi, Libera,
Great you figured out what you were doing wrong with the help of Sue’s steps/blog article.
That’s the way to go, we don’t give up! lol
Suzy, I like your work very much. All options!
I also never had any problems with Creative Fabrica. The resources are immense to suit every taste.
I downloaded the New Pose font (thank you, Pirkko!), and my Norton Antivirus had no problems with it… However, when a site is unsafe, a new red tab immediately appears with a big warning. It was not the case.
As Corrie mentioned, every day, they offer three freebies (Fonts, Graphics, and Crafts). Sometimes I download, sometimes I don’t, depending on if they suit me.
Sue, everybody here on the Campus is very helpful, but IMHO you are the most helpful… I read your suggestions for others, guiding with tips, mentioning tutorials I have never tried, offering your expertise… And I profit a lot from your comments and suggestions. We are very lucky to have you here, and I mean it. 🙂
I mentioned the video because, for me, some techniques are easier and faster to understand an explanation by looking than by reading.
I haven’t been reviewing the Scripting lessons lately… I’ve traveled, life issues, and we will be traveling again in a few weeks… But I didn’t forget this, and for sure I will go back to it!
Lovely work, Everyone!
Libera, with Sue’s thorough explanation, I am sure you will be able to create the cylinder shape. But if you are still in doubt and are a Diamond member, you can look at the Tube Video Tutorial from the Lab8-Module 6.
Sue, I love the container for kitchen utensils you created …the choice of paper used is perfect, and also the background to showcase it.
Such creative work has been posted here. Great job, Everyone!
Lynda and Sue,
I just read in the Corel Discovery Center newsletter that both of you have been selected as finalists in the Corel Animal Photo and Art Contest!
Your photos are outstanding! Congratulations!
Hi, Libera, long time no see. 🙂
I agree it is a pleasure to see birds and squirrels. It is pretty common to see squirrels in the house’s gardens and climbing trees, but it was the first time I saw them eating on my balcony… I can imagine the fun you have, seeing the birds drinking water first and then taking a bath… Here, they only drink the water. 🙂
Pirkko, beautiful photo and layout!
You could take a look at the title as there is a typo. 🙂
Sue, I love, love this. Your layouts always have so many details, and I like to look at them closely to find out what you did this time! The photos may be degraded due to resizing, but they show the beauty of the birds.
I have a few bird feeders and a birdhouse on my balcony, and we love to see them coming and going. Now, the little ones come too, and we love to see them flapping their wings, beggings the parents to be fed.
For a while, even a squirrel came every day and managed to squeeze himself into a birdhouse to eat the sunflower seeds.
Pirkko, what a nice layout. Lovely photo of the duck with the little ones.
Suzy, if you feel like it, you could share your lovely work with us.
We have a friendly community here that supports and encourages each other. Take a look at the “What are you working on” thread. Every month a new thread.
We are all here learning from Carole!
Rene and Corrie, I love both layouts!
We are never short of creativity here in the Forum.
I think it’s a great idea… Here is a great place to advertise what the store has and, at the same time, a source of inspiration for everyone who buys it.
Love to see all the new layouts posted here. It is great to see all this creativity.
Really great work, Everyone!
Lynda and Sue, all your entries for the Corel contest are impressive! I hope I have upvoted all the entries.

Suzy, this script is great and, I think, a big hit in the store. Thanks to you, all of us will benefit!
I am deeply sad about this news. :'(
She was a kind of cheerleader here on the Campus, always having supportive, encouraging, and kind comments on our layouts… And she could make us laugh too.
I will miss her immensely.
If you have a hard time, imagine me! Sometimes, your scripts have commands that I haven’t learned… But I don’t look at your script often…First, I need to finish reviewing the lessons… I’ve forgotten many commands, mainly the last ones.
Ann, this is a beautiful calendar layout, and so is the photo.
Betsy, nice layout with the split photo freebie… I like the split photo scripts very much.
Sue, it had to be you to come up with this creative way to use the Paper Brick Wall Script! … I am taking notes 🙂
Pirkko and Anne, nice layouts to showcase the flowers… I like hibiscus.
Carole, I’ve traveled for about the last 10 days, so I was not here to think about the steps needed, but I am sure I would not have thought of all of them!
Because of my trip, the last Scripting Lesson I reviewed was lesson14… While reviewing, I am also tweaking my Exercise & Challenges Scripts, and in between, I am creating scrapbook layouts… Finally.
I love this scrip! This is a must-have script for sure… I think I will go to the shop. 🙂
I don’t remember when I posted something in this thread, and I still have nothing, but I love to see what everyone is creating… I am still creating layouts for the Template Workshop, and at the same time, I am reviewing my Scripting Lessons.
Mary, Bonnie, Ann, Marie-Claire, Trish, Michele, Lynda, Pirkko, Colin Hooson, Susan, Sue, lovely, creative, and fun work as always!
I think it is very helpful and easy to navigate… Like Mary, I preferred to start with the Labs because of the short videos and the elements I wanted to create.
I just have a doubt: in your example, there’s a Creative Scrap tab, but if I am not mistaken, now it is called Tutorials – Preview.
Here is Day 3 – Template 3 Diamond
This time I tweaked a little bit more… added one more paper and one more photo.
I used some elements and papers from the “DiHiller_PS 2021Jul Nature Walk” free kit (DigitalScrapbook.com).
From Cassel: LiftedPhoto script and WordFrame (Lab8-Module02).
Again, I changed the colors of the greeneries, adding a solid color underneath them and changing the blend mode to Overlay.
Fonts: Candy Round BTN and Label Creator; this one was a treat from my good friend, Sue Thomas. Thank you, Sue!
Hi Joyce, I had the same issue… I’d suggest you send Carole an email, and she will send the link.
More inspiring and great layouts were posted in the last few days. This thread is really a hit. Great job, everyone!
Corrie, it was great to go along with you on this balloon ride! I would love to do this as well… probably in another life! 🙂
Thank you, Carole! I share the same opinion and just wanted to hear from someone who has much more experience coding scripts than I do.
Carole,
Reviewing Lesson 8, I was reminded of one option of the History Palette that I had totally forgotten… the QuickScript… I have used the History Palette many times, but mainly for the “Copy to Clipboard“.
I am curious, do you use this option?
I love what Everyone has posted… Fun, creative, lovely, and touching layouts. What a great group!
Late as usual, here is my Day 2 page… I used the “Template 2 – Diamond” and tweaked it slightly… For the PaintSplash, I’ve just changed the Brightness.
Usually, when I use the same photo, one is Black and White, but this time I thought it was not coming out the way I wanted… So, I had one layer with the Black and White photo, added the original photo on top of this layer, and lowered the opacity… Maybe, I could have done the same by lowering the photo saturation.
I used “marisaL-prettythings-glitter-brown2” tile and created the polkadot paper (Cassel’s tutorial).
Fonts: Beauty and Love and Great Vibes
Here is Template 1 – Lesson 1
The papers I used are from a kit by Marisa Lerin (DSF June 2012). For two of them, to change the color and keep the pattern, I added a layer with a solid color, then on top of this layer, the patterned paper and changed the Blend Mode of the latter.
