Annie, this is sooo cute! Love it…Great work, my friend!
Ann, Annie, Frans, Torsten, Joe, Cindy, lovely work, photos, and colors. Great job!
Annie, I am a big fan of this fellow who is having a bad hair day. : D
Carole, I created the pasta heart inspired by an illustration I saw online. I downloaded different pasta shapes, created a picture tube, and then arranged the shapes inside a heart outline. Below the illustration.
First, thank you so much, Annie, Mary, Carole, and Ann, for your comments. They are much appreciated. <3… I make this dessert once a year, usually in July or August, when the berries are fresher and taste better… I had the first time at my sister-in-law’s, and since then, it became a tradition at home. : )
I was in a kind of a rush yesterday, so I didn’t give the proper credits to the designers, who so generously offer the freebies.
Project#2: Papers from PS2020Sep– A Beautiful Mess-Artsy Papers” — Alpha from Cassel-Alpha Maker Sample (Alpha-Maker script) — Border-Stitches4 from KAagard… Some of the papers are not recognizable because I played with the blend mode.
Project#3: Papers from Oklahoma Dawn PS2018Nov “I dig it” — Glitter from Cassel.
Sue, what a wonderful thing to have the birdhouses and see them going back and forth… As they know they have five-star accommodation, they always come back. : ) … Beautiful work in all projects.
Karon, good to see you here again! You’ve been missed… Thanks a lot for your kind words on my layouts. They mean a lot to me <3 …Your work is always very creative. Lovely job!… Best wishes to you and Val!
Ann, you are becoming the master of plaids. : )
Lynda, beautiful photos and flowers. It must be a joy to see them grow. I like the layout using slats. Nice work.
Minka, like Carole, I am not afraid of snakes, at least the non-venenous ones, but they would not be my first choice of pets. 🙂 I like the sketch (something to use in the future), and you created a very nice and interesting layout with it. Great work!
So many new creative and fun layouts. Great work, everyone!
I couldn’t do anything for a couple of days, so only today I managed to finish projects #2 and 3… Now onto project #4.
No matter how many times I participated, it is always fun to create layouts for this challenge.
Cindy, great to see you here again too. Nice layout!
Annie, yes, let me know the outcome! I like to watch a YouTube channel called Pasta Grannies, created by Vicky Bennison, an English woman. She films “grannies” in Italy, who still make pasta by hand… some are 100 years old!
Lovely new layout!
Sue, lovely layouts and they do highlight those beautiful photos.
Lynda, really wonderful work.
Annie, I had to laugh at your comment about the layout…” What is this all about?” to “I know what this is all about!”… LOL… It fits the photos perfectly! Thank you, my dear friend!
Michele, thank you! They sure grew, and this was back in 2018!
Slowly I am getting along, and with this layout, I finally finished practicing the 2020 Lab Tutorials.
For December, they were: Word Tree – Holly – Round Label.
As I haven’t been very creative lately, I again started with a template. This time was from Lynn Grieveson, called “perfect-panorama-8.” As usual, I tweaked it a bit.
Now, onto the 2021 tutorials!
Michele, wonderful layout! I love the effect of slats on a photo and how you made them pop up…
Annie, thank you!… I grew up watching my mother making homemade pasta, so from an early age, I wanted to “help”… I don’t make it very often now, but for me, they taste better.
Your layout is very nice! …They are so instructive, and we get to know a lot about flora and fauna with you…I never read anything about the coot feet… They are so cool!
Sue, my friend, thank you so much! I don’t have “yet” this script : )… Like you, I also like to create my own and have a few confetti tubes in my folder, but scripts are time-savers.
Ann, thank you! … You are not suffering from low vision; there is no bow! : ) I added the ribbon behind the paper, but it is hard to see in the small version.
The freebie consists of two bows and two ribbons, of which the bows were created. The file name is “cass-Bow17-Fall-02-Ribbon” because the script is about creating a bow. I added the image.
Great layout, Ann. I love the colors!
Beautiful new layouts… So diverse and so inspiring. Great work, Ann, Corrie, Michele, and Sue!
This is my Project #1
I used Cassel’s Alpha-Maker Sample (Alpha-Maker Script) and Bow17-Fall-ribbon freebie (Bow17 Script).
Papers by Marisa Lerin “Cozy Kitchen” freebie.
I created the confetti tube following Cassel’s tutorial.
Joe, even after so many years, I never stop learning at the Campus.
Carole and Annie, I guess I overindulged a bit. : )
Ann, I agree with you; this exercise is always fun, and having done it so many times, we can play more with it.
I’ve participated in this challenge before, so I always try to do something different. Here is my lunch. I added a few of Cassel’s picture tubes: Burger toppings and Crochet Lace.
Here again too. : ) … Looking forward to being inspired by the Newcomers and Veterans too.
Annie, you are so sweet! …You always have words of appreciation, incentive, and encouragement to each one of us. Thank you so very much, my friend! <3
Anne Lamp, thank you for your kind comment on my page. It is very much appreciated. <3
Anne and Corrie, such lovely layouts to honor the memory of the loving moms!
Sheila, it is probably much easier for you to work with this tool than it will be for me! : ) All your previous paintings were great, and this one is no different; I love the result.
Ann, what a cute layout. I like the font.
Minka, a very important subject… Older or younger have been greatly affected by the pandemic, but thanks to the vaccine, there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Good wishes to the kids and parents.
Sue, my friend, thank you! <3
I thought of using the AI Powered-Instant Effect (former Pic-to-Painting) because of the not-so-good quality of the photos. It was a way of disguising it. I tried different effects until finally chose Impasto, but I lowered the strength because I still wanted the photos to be “recognizable.”
I think it is a good resource, depending on the project.
Ann, as Minka said, you go to VIEW >PALLETTES >INSTANT EFFECT or the shortcut SHIFT+F2.
Here is a screenshot.
EDIT: I played with the strength slider; I don’t remember the percentage, but it less than 100%.

Hi Ann, thank you!… The Impasto Effect has only been available since PSP2021 as part of the Instant Effects. Before, those kinds of effects were known as Pic-to-Painting.

Shirley and Minka, really nice and lovely layouts. Great work, ladies!
Helen, very nice layout! I really liked the class and want to practice this tool, as I’ve never worked with it before.
I am still trying to catch up with the Lab tutorials. Here is the layout I created to practice the tutorials from the Lab10 Module 11 (Googly Eyes — Monster Alpha — Seeds Beads).
I didn’t have any Halloween photos, so I adapted them to a Rock & Roll birthday party, with graffitis on the wall. Also, the photos were not of the best quality, so I added “Impasto Instant Effect.”
I started with “Scrapping with Liz” Focal Point template3-9 and tweaked it to fulfill my needs.
Pixel Scrapper: Overlays by Sheila Reid Word Scramble and Distressed texture; Button by APennington-Snapshots.
Cassel’s brushes stitch-feather and Scotch Tape tutorial,
Ann, very nice plaid and layout. I love the corner punches.
Lynda, very interesting layout with buttons and the puzzle script; I like it… Congrats on creating your button script! …I have thought of purchasing the PSP Script Course before, just to be learning something new, but I am always postponing… I will probably do this sometime this year.
Corrie, for sure, it was not easy to use so many goodies in one layout, but it came out great. Cassel’s script, tubes, etc., are a time saver for us; they are worth every penny.
