I just received the new PSP 2023 Ultimate version and was playing around with it to see how it works. Glad to see its very similar to my last version 2018. It’s so addicting to start playing around and not wanting to stop, (What, I have to stop and cook dinner? Seriously? ) Looking forward to participating in the “Campus” more often. It’s stimulating to see what everyone is up to and especially learning new tricks! See ya real soon, Karen
I’m not sure if this is the way to respond to your comment, Cassel, but I’m going with this! I knew you were going to catch what looks like a missing shadow on the bow/frame but that was one combined element and the frame does come with a shadow already attached. I think there is a shadow there; but very faint. (I’ll look again at the scrap kit to be sure.)
Thanks for your help/guidance, Karen
I’m still playing with that ZIG-ZAG paper trick! My layout features my pirate grandson, and I used the scrap kit, “Ahoy There Mateyz”, created by DeDe Smith from “3 Scrapateers” from a long time ago. I used Cassel’s glitter paper (TY) to make the ‘frame’ and then added an inner bevel. What a fun way to spend Sunday afternoon!
That’s so nice of you to say—thank you Susan!
DAY 11-Project 5
Here’s my Vanda orchid project. I used scrapbooking materials from “Free Digital Scrapbooking” and “Digital Freebies”, 2 old scrap kits in my collection. I incorporated what I learned from the video and am still fascinated with the zig-zag paper cut edge—very cool! I thank you for sharing your PSP knowledge, Cassel, with us. I love learning new tricks, Karen
Love learning new tips and tricks that PSP can do. I appreciate the clear instructions and have been truly enjoying this Boot Camp. The scrapkit I used on this layout was from Carla Ware at 3 Scrapateers, and is called “American Pride”. It’s an “antique” scrapkit, close to 20 years old by now. Yikes!!
Summertime in Florida and weekends are for boating. My three grandsons look forward to Sundays because that’s boating day (assuming that the weather cooperates!) They love the ocean and spend several hours swimming, snorkeling and playing among the waves. They’ve also been working on their tans. Enjoyed this activity and was fascinated to learn how to use the glitter paper. There are so many tricks and tips to learn. Thanks Cassel!
Here’s Project #2. Enjoyed playing with the layers and adding shadows everywhere. This is a homegrown Vanda from the past. Unfortunately, pictures are all I have left of this plant. Such a pretty color—-lucky for me I have a picture! Karen B.
Here’s my layout for Homework Assignment #1. Finally finished. Slowly getting the hang of this again. WooHoo! Karen B.
Cassel, I did my first screenshot—-whoo hoo! Here’s my desktop workplace with the duplicate PICK and MOVE TOOL open. It’s one of the glitches I was telling you about. kinda weird! CorvetteKaren
Well, I finally finished and this turned out to be a bedtime snack instead of LUNCH! Thankfully my hubby was here to help with the UNZIPPING of files. I was dead in the water, stuck! Once I started playing with this project, my past PSP experience started to come back (guess it’s like riding a bike!) Anyway, I couldn’t stop. It was a great way to spend the last 4 hours! Now I have to work on my SPEED. See you next time!
I finally did it! Here’s my photo as requested. Whew! {painful} Hope I can get the “Gremlins” out of my computer too. Now, on to the lunchtime sandwich activity. (more like dinner at this point) LOL
Hello everyone. Sorry I’m a little late to this party! It’s been a long time since I played with my PSP 2018 edition and I’m a little rusty. I’m answering my email off my tablet but my PSP program is on my computer. Guess I’ll have to switch to using my computer to participate in this bootcamp. ??I’m hoping once I get back in the PSP groove it’ll all come back to me. Time will tell! I’m looking forward to meeting you all. Now, I will attempt to upload my photo. ?
oh, I decided to stick with my dark gray workspace and will use the materials, layers and tools pallets. I also like to work out of the organizer. (Geez, it almost sounds like I know what I’m doing ?!).
rats….the photo won’t go. I get a file extension error message—-needs to be resized? I’ll try again using the computer, tomorrow.
