Cristina thank you. I’m definitly not trying scripting yet.I enjoy the diamond membership and there is so much to learn and make. That combined with filter forge which is also new to me, gives me enough to do in the winter to come!!!

This is my first Bingo Challenge and indeed it is somewhat similar to a scavanger hunt. I choose: Denim, Grungy Effect, Wordart, Torn Paper and Spiral Clip. I used the pencil drawing I made with filter forge and torned it in 2 pieces and gave the edges a grungy look. The denim background, which you hardly can see now because of the reseizing, has a grungy edge. Spiral clip holds a label with the name of the windmill. The title Vintage is also made with filter forge and has some grungy spots too. In my stash I found this illustration of a lady in old fashioned dress to compliment the layout. The wordart fonts are Algerian, Ambrogio and Baby Garland. The vintage font is Willy Love and the idea to make it came from the masterclass about filter forge. I have been working on this for days because I was in a mail exchange with Carole about the Embroiderd Patch script that I bought and didn’t work. After 38 mails and much more trials it is running now and the problem was lying in an extra program that had to been downloaded and the script had to be edited to tell it the path for that extra pogram. In the end the problem probably was the difference in language between my PC and PSP. My PC runs in Dutch and all things PSP related are in English.

Playing around with Filter Forge which I was so lucky to win in the BIG 10! I turned one of my photos of a windmill into a pencil drawing and added a watercolor frame around it otherwise there was a white border. I had to watch the masterclass about filter forge again to learn more about all the settings and this is just the first attempt. It was great fun and there is so much!

I also made a lot of changes to the sketch and I used a photo of a Hop that is growing on a little piece of waistland by the station. As our stationsquare is still being reconstructed the builders use that land for their materials and it is fenced of with a chainlink fence. There were a lot of wildflowers too but those are already gone over and now this hop takes centerstage. As soon as I saw that ID template I knew that at some point I wanted to use it as a plantpassport. I fastened it to the chainlink and I made the letters following the stitched shape tutorial from Lab 11-2. The font is Segoe UI black
Cristina, thank you and the quote is one that can be used on almost anything!
Marie-Claire, that is a very lovely background and a nice photo too!

Thank you Michele, the color scheme was more or less dictated by the colors of the heather and I used it throughout the page. Working on a page for days is really not my kind of scrapping. I stop working, come back the next day and have to rethink what I was trying to do, but in the end I have something to show.
I feel a bit sorry that this BIG 10 is coming to its last day; it was wonderful to see each and every entry at all levels. And again a great inspiration for projects to come! So Carole again a big thanks to you for letting us in on the party and even if we aren’t going to win a prize, we all have won by joining here!!! Now I’ll go and make new pages, follow new challenges, masterclasses and learn new techniques in the diamond membership alongside chatting with some of you who I have come to know a little bit better.
This is my last entry and it is a card I made. I used a photo from the lime tree in front of our house and I wish I could have incorporated its heavenly smell. Background is the photo with blur and bokeh effect. A mask on the same photo with a simple frame and a butterfly. A quote (I like using quotes), a flower of the tree inside a leafy frame and two corner punches.
Sue we don’t have a Dutch word for petrichor, we know that smell but say something as “that smell after rain on dry ground”. I’m going through a lot of tutorials from the creative scrap at the moment, already made my own paerclips, pin, arrows, some brushes and picture tubes for use in coming projects. And some of the Labs as well, but not yet ready for showing. I’m going to make more flairbuttons with my flowers.
Yes we watched the formula 1 last weekend on the telly and “our” Verstappen won, sorry for Hamilton. My husband is a great fan, I just watch when it is a special one.
I have been working on this one for days. After a very bad July and August we now have lovely weather and I wanted to enjoy that as much as possible before we are heading into Autumn. And of course the BIG 10 has kept me busy too. This is all made from the photos I took on a daytrip to the heath. The background is a plaid made from a little part of the photo. Then the photo itself with a heavy blur. The other 2 photos of the cows have slipped in edges, a technique I wanted to try out. For the title I used the freebie and gave the letters colors from the photo. I made a template for the arrow and use a part of it with different colors and an inner bevel. The texts are in a Line Pattern by Carole.
Z = Zoo Veterinarian
This is the second page I made during the bootcamp of March 2020 when I started. The very first one is in a blogpost from July this year where Carole made me new Gold Star. I used the kit provided, because I had no supplies at all and was just learning where to get some through members who told so when posting some very advanced work (in my eyes at that moment!). And of course I had the fonts that are in Windows, you should see my font list now!
Carole this old page isn’t bad at all, it is very sweet and I notice your husband is now playing for your grandson!
Sue like you I too made a flairbutton as my first element in the creative scrap and it was for the Hobby theme of last month.
I know I have send in my 10 projects for the draw, but I thought well the party isn’t over yet! So I want to show a project that I did in April this year when Carole had her big birthday sale and I bought a lot of goodies. For fun I tried to use almost all those things in this layout. It includes: Lace Edge font, Decorative Stitches, Ribbon Factory, Quick Scallops, Word Slats, Bow and Eyelet! I made a background with the use of the Kaleidoskop, added a title and a quote using different fonts.
Carole I had a wonderful time revisiting all the projects I did and seeing all the great entries from a lot of the people I have come to know here in the Campus! Thank you so much and I hope we can make more memories and meet new people in the years to come!!!
PS: the only negative is I had no time to do some scrapping, LOL

The overlays masterclass is very populair (with me too), so I wanted to show you something with OVERLAYS in it. These nested frames were a freebie from Carole and we were asked what we could come up with using the different layers. I had this photo of a flower with a fly (Sue thanks for pointing that out to me) and arranged it on different layers each with a different opacity. The honeycomb on the base layer is an overlay on the background photo and if you look closely you will see some little bees scattered around another layer; they are an overlay too. I gave the frames a different color and an innerbevel. All colors are taken from the photo. Then OUT-OF-BOUNDS for a petal and a wing.
U = Umpire
I’m thoroughly enjoying myself revisiting all the projects I have done since joining the Campus and seeing all the other entries!
Here is a page for the Travel Tale Challenge of 2020 and it is an extra page I included to finish it, so to speak. In it are most of the things we learned to make: postcard, sheet of stamps and a single stamp, postmark, tag with a silhouette, engraving (in this case in the aircraft wing), make the outline of the state/city using a screenshot! As some of you know I got home just in time when the Covid pandemic started, from the first visit to my daughter and grands who moved to the Seattle area. My son in law got a job there. I made a couple of more pages to complement my recordings of the trip and made a powerpoint presentation of it which I send to my daughter.

Every evening (my time) I spend quit some time to look at all the new entries here and it is time well spend! For today I want to show a layout that I made during a Scraplift challenge. Every month there are weekly challenges about someting special and they return once in a while. We get a layout and are asked to make something a bit similar using our own photos, ideas, fonts etc. In this example the Save me! page was the starting image and the Nature one is what I made out of it.

For all who miss Annie T: She is having internet problems and often no connection at all. She is also very busy with the scripting studies and not sure if she will have time to come here, but she is well and a bit frustrated at the same time!

What better way then use the month of September to show the calenderpage I did last year! It was the Up-To-Date Challenge and it was a big one too, we made pages for all the 12 month of 2021 and a frontcover. I printed it and gave it to a longtime friend as she had to listen to me rambling about making scrapbook things! She loves it and every time I am at her place I see my calender there on the wall. It makes a very nice gift! As usual all the photos are by me and for every month I choose some appropiate to that time of the year. I hope we get a new one to make later this year.

Bonnie what is CPA? I haven’t a clue.
Cristina the page about your hike and the “Jause” made me think of my own trips in the Swiss Alps! It’s a lovely page and yes you were learning as I’m now.
Sue as you know I admire your work and it is very encouraging to see how far you have come in those years! I’m planning to stay, learn and play in the campus as long as I can.
For today I want to show SubwayArt from a blogpost in december last year. I made a ChristmasCard and printed it to send to family and friends. It is in: https://scrapbookcampus.com/blog/subway-art
Cindy good to hear you are all okay now!
For today just a simple image I made as one of the first things I did in the Diamond Membership. I combined two tuts: name inside a letter and letter decorated with a flower (or an element). I make a lot of cards and have used this already quite a few times for different people, they seem to like it on their cards! Of course I put the recipient’s name in it and I use a color that match the rest of the card. It is also very usable for gents!
