The Pen Tool is in generral a problem for me too. I’m terrible with handdrawing and when I concentrate on that aspect I forget or don’t notice the other settings and so on.
Where I live I have never seen robots serving dinner, but robot vacuumcleaners are available in the shops. I haven’t one but who knows maybe in the future. Of course Alexa and other systems are here as well, but I have no need for them at the moment. Once a lawnmower would have been welcome but after moving to a much smaller house we don’t have grass anymore.
F = Festivities, each season has its own festivities and they are sometimes specific to a certain country or region and others are global affaires.
Just the same overhere: the toiletpaper! It was like everyone got crazy and was buying hugh supply of it, we were lucking I had my normal amount bought just before and could wait until the rush was over.

I didn’t have a lot of time because I’m busy printing calendars and cards for European and home use; the ones that have to go overseas are already on their way. I go to fysiotherapy 2x a week, go for a walk almost everyday and the walks are getting longer too. Besides that we had a couple of visits to make that were postponend until I was able to come and a funeral to attent. It was a busy week to say the least, therefore I used a quick page that I altered a bit. The photo I took today (on my walk) of the oaktrees nearby that still have their leaves in a very nice color. Due to the warm months October and November there are a lot of trees that haven’t shed their leaves yet, which is very uncommon in December. I don’t know if we have to thank or damn the climate change that is now so noticeable. When we married in November 51 years ago it had been snowing a little bit and it was freezing cold! Quite a difference to today.
I forgot to tell that I used the masking technique and a lowered the opacity of one of the photos. When the composition was to my liking I merged all and copied it to a new layout with the background.
I used 3 photos of mushrooms and blended them together, placed that on a background and made a frame around them. I almost never use the frames that come with PSP, so I thought let me give that a try. The fonts are Salmon Queen and Salmon Queen Extras, a freebie by CF with many swashes and little elements.
I did my shopping yesterday evening (my time) and I was very happy when I got the warning that I already bought that particular script!
When I became a diamond member I choose the yearly subscription, it is in the options and it saves me $ 50 a year to spend on other things aka scripts/tubes/brushes. I think you can switch when your new monthly payment is due, so ask Carole and I’m sure it will be arranged.
Although the Corel offer for PSP 2023 is a nice one I’m going to wait until the problems with the scripts are solved. If my memory serves me right I think there will come another option to buy 2023 even more cheeply. I bought 2022 for € 19 only.
My letter X is about the X-mas lights in the center of my village. I took the photos last year in the blue hour when we had a clear sky. I used the Lab 12-11 template and for the background and decorations the kit Holly Jolly Christmas by DB Magnolia.
Cindy you did it! I’m glad you have your scripts back. Computers sometimes work in mysterious ways.
Mary, wow a great great granddaughter that is something not everybody will experience; congrats and let us know when she has arrived! You are going to need many more cards in the future.
Following the masterclass on numbers I made this last year for our 50th wedding anniversary and it has a lot of gold in it, although not the actual word gold , or goud in Dutch. Until now I have been busy with the Cardmaking Workshop and I still have to do my letter X.
Michele I like your cards, so elegant! And isn’t it nice to have them as PSP-images that you can adept for different occassins or persons! I think I have to make a list now of which card a have send to which person.
My last entry for this workshop. I made the envelope and put my card in it. I saved the outline of the envelope in case I want to print it on a later date.
I haven’t commented on all the individual cards made; there were simply too much but they all were lovely in their own right and it was a pleasure to see them all.
Day 7. I made a card (front and back) for a Christmas invitation, but with other colors and flowers it could be for any other occasion. I used the tamplate and the lace changed to white. Creative Fabrica had very nice papers with blue christmas ornaments as a freebie. On the back is my special christmas logo which I did 2 years ago. On my own cards there is always my logo. The font is The Mainsthen. On the inside come the details of the eventand I don’t know yet if I will make an insert or print directly on the card, that depends on the paper I’ll use. The envelop I probably will do tomorrow because there is something on the telly I want to watch and afterwards it’s bedtime for me.
Carole I loved this workshop and the templates will be used for many cards to come which will have another theme and probably my flowerphotos. Thank you so much for all of this and all the work you are putting in. I’ll look forward to the blackfriday sale and the christmas countdown!!!
Day 6 and another christmas card. I followed the tutorial as far as the recoloring of the paper and the straightening of the ribbon (that was a new one for me). In stead of the oval I made a watercolor of my photo of the redberries with the watercolor script. The font is Michalina by Creative Fabrica if I’m not mistaken. I probably won’t print in this format, but just as a double card, or use only the front for email or wattsapp.
No babies or opportunities for baby cards so this time I did a Happy New Year card, always handy to have when you forg0t to send some one a christmas card! Last year I made some photos from the fireworks. I don’t have a layered template for this occasion so I do without, but the tutorial about it will come in handy on another moment.
Still with christmascards and this one has a photo of an arrangement I got last year. I made little stars because the lights in that arrangemant were stars and gave the stars, corner punches and text some noise but I’m afraid that doesn’t show in this resized version. I know when I print it is visible and gives a slight glitter effect.
