I’m super happy the problem is solved and I can tell now: it isn’t a Windows problem! Marvin PSP is already selected as the default app by file type upon installation.
So I was going to take Sue’s advice and remove, clean and re-install PSP. In the wizzard which pops-up when you want to deinstall you can choose : deinstall or repair. So before taking the drastic messure to remove I choose repair and that worked. I can see again what is in those pspimage thumbnails!
For those who have the same problem: give it a try!!!!
I want to give a big thanks to all who have tried to help. This shows again what a great community this is and I’m happy and proud to be a member.
Monique dank je!
Last friday on our 50th wedding anniversary we got surprised by a lot of bouquets so I had to take some photos of them. Our son and his partner gave us a lovely bronze statue of a couple. Today this QP where I could show it of.
As some of you already know I love flowers and have made so many photos over the last 2 years, so I couldn’t resist and did a flower QP. We haven’t had pets because the kids where allergic to most dogs, cats and guinea-pigs; 40 years ago we hadn’t even heard of Labradoodles!
Monique, I’m also sometimes feeling as a tourist guide while showing our beautiful country!
This is Rotterdam, the town where I was born and although I do not live there anymore, for 52 years now, it still feels so familiar to me whenever I’m there. I don’t want to live there anymore that’s for certain but it still pulls on my heartstrings. Rotterdam is a city with very interesting and modern architecture and is often called “Manhattan aan de Maas” because of all the skyscrapers. The Maas is the river that splits the town in 2 parts with a tunnel and several bridges connecting those, one of them is nicknamed De Zwaan (The Swan).
Carole you are right finding photos that suit this QP is the most time consuming of all. Once decided on the photos it’s just a couple of minutes!
More photos about the pumpkin farm. I added a date this time, the name of the farm is already on the second QP.
I like this QP and can see me using it again, if I need something really quick! Although it’s all very simple it’s worth while doing it. It makes me realize that something quick has its charme too!
And here is my take on this Sketch Challenge. Because it is still very much autumn over here, no winter at all, I did an autumn layout. This time I followed the sketch, I simply like it and used the autumn colors in my photos. All the frames and circles have an autumn gradient which is in the gradientsfolder. Autumnleaves tube; fonts are Arienne, Outline and Better Valentina which has a lot of glyphs (one of Creative Fabrica freebies). The background is made from a photo with a frosted glass overlay and a blend mode.
I started this layout already on saterday but was “interrupted” by a very nice upgrade offer, pricewise (€ 29,99 for the Ultimate) and had to install everything and customize my workspace again. After 2 days I found out that I had forgoten to put the repeat icon in the layers palette! But I’m up and running now,

Well Ann here is:

This is the same pumpkin farm that I used yesterday with a gigantic lot of pumpkins for sale. I changed the color of some of the tiles to better match the photo and made the lot a little bit brighter. But nothing major, all done super quick.

That was really quickly and just like Trish finding a photo was the hardest part. This is a section of a house front completely builded with pumpkins. It’s done on a farm in Rapperswil – Switzerland and each year they do something different in the autumn. I like Pirkko’s idea and probably give that a try to match the colors of the photo.
I’m here too, although I’m no longer a newbie I like to have some pages that are done quickly, because I’m a rather slow scrapper!!! That’s fine most of the time, but when my time is limited (as it is this weeks) it’s great to do something which is quick instead of nothing at all.

Bonnie, I noticed it too!
Sue it’s lovely and completely in keeping with your style. You say it’s a little project, well I think I’ll need a lot more time to come up with such a page! I was busy upgrading to PSP 2022, the black friday offer was a good one! But I’m up an running now.

Z = Zunza #bfd1bc I have never heard of this one, I searched on Google.
Trish lovely page for your sister! I clicked on the screenshot of your workspace too but I got the normal enlargement and no twitter! You were in the Photografy workspace for sure, I use that sometimes if I want to work on a specific photo, it’s easier than doing so in the normal workspace, at least for me.
Bonnie thank you.
Carole, thanks it was fun to do, but I don’t know if I’m going to do such a layout often. You have to have the stats…. and in this case that was easy!
The last masterclass about numbers was just in time for me to do something for our 50th wedding anniversary next week. I have in my fonts some that came with extra’s and a couple with icons. I mostly used the Material Design Icons font and Christmas extra font. If I use my fontviewer I can select an icon and then save it as a PNG, so no problem with typing a specific number etc. For the text I used Bahnschrift which I find very easy to read and Mawarna Monogram for our initials. Some icons golden and the others red. By the way the number on the coffeecups is and estimated guess, the rest is pretty accurate,

Monique no problem, there were so many entries. The fonts from Creative Fabrica, at least the freebies are only free for 24 hours, but some will reappear after a while. I can recomment making an account and then you get every day a free font and 2 other freebies. Sometimes they are really great!

Bonnie, Michele great use of that template from this month’s Lab. I was wondering what to do with it and I still have no idea, but I have enough other thing going for X-mas. I have made some snowglobes from the Christmas 4 masterclass. I have used one for the Freebie Challenge and will use the others probably one cards, I had a lot of fun making them. Thanks to Carole for that masterclass!
I have been making some snowglobes for holidaycards and I did one with a gingerbread house inside, at least I think it is a gingerbread house. Then came this challenge which had gingerbread men and I put some of them inside the globe. I also got a gingerbread train freebie by CF. I scattered more little men around as well as the candies and the stars from this challenge. Background is a freebie from InkyDeals which I got for giving a review on some overlays I bought. At the bottom is a row of X-mas dingbats with gingerbread men. I indulged myself with all the freebies, but it is a freebie challenge after all and better so than eating them……..
Enjoy as Annie would say, I hope to see her and Cristina back here soon!

Beautiful work from all of you and I have put the Diamond Slat script on my wishlist, which is growing by the week! Lynda nice to see you here again, have a safe roadtrip!
I will give the freebie with the slats a go after I’m finished with printing all my calendars. One is done now and looks great! I will have to buy some cardboard or very thick paper for the back and see if the printshop can do a spiral binding for me.
