I have not done a page for Day 7 yet but I did manage polka dot papers and metallic wire text. I did not have a gold pattern so I used a pattern from Corel that was close to a gold color. My text doesn’t look as good as it could. I have metal brass and metallic gold in my gradients…could I copy them to textures to use?
Carol, I echo Wanda’s sentiment. I have really enjoyed this challenge and have learned a great deal. Thank you so much for all you do for all of us wishing to learn PSP. This challenge is a wonderful example of your generosity.
Day 5 This almost looks like one photo but it is two…my backyard and Poppy…taken the same day in different locations. Poppy does not like snow. I don’t think she has been out in the snow since. She is an indoor cat so I have to make an effort for her to be outdoors. She usually wears a red harness and a blue, leash.
This is pretty much like my first one…I am having so much fun with this technique. Two of our guys fooling around during warm-up.
Thank you, Carole. Changed my settings…it should make a difference.
Woo hoo! I had a blast with Day 4! Thank you, Carole!
BTW, can I set how often PSP auto saves? I am using X7 and it saves so frequently…I have to sit and wait all the time for it to save. I have searched in settings but cannot find anything.
The paper is definitely under the mask layer but appears to cover it. The 2 smaller pics are above the background.
I just followed your instructions above with a different photo and the paper is below the mask area…and does not cover the photo. I don’t know what I was doing incorrectly with the page above but it wasn’t working. It appears with the new page…it is working. Thank you, Carole.
I could not get the irregular shape to be black or to clear so the pic would not be hazy. I am enjoying the challenge. I need to spend some time on the tutorials on creating papers. Thank you, Carol!
Also, I could not use a background paper…It covered the irregular photo.
Not sure I am posting my project correctly. I did enjoy this, although I am slow. Jake and Marie met and dated and fell in love. She lived in England and he is in the USA. It took much time and work for them to get Marie here in the US…she just arrived February 14. These pictures are from their wedding last April.

I created this in 2011 when my senior (age 50+) basketball group went to Old Dominion University for a weekend of basketball activities.
I took the photo of the sunrise on the beach and the quote is the cheer the ODU women’s basketball team used when coming out of a huddle.https://s231.photobucket.com/user/bballbonnie/slideshow/

Day 1
This is my cat, Poppy. She is named for a basketball move, “pick and pop”. I have no envelope and didn’t use the template…just went off on my own.
I did not use the template for Day 1. Just went off on my own and created a flat card, much like the ones you get printed at Costco and other places. Am I allowed to do that?
I have never posted in the campus. Do I upload from my computer or use a site like photobucket. I saw you asked us to resize cards…what size do you suggest?
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I realize this isn’t a word. I can think of no X word associated with snow. I even cheated and used a dictionary, thesaurus, and Google. No X word. Even the eskimos have no X word for snow. Please feel free to not count this word as an answer.
