Oh wow Deb we are almost neighbours, We are at East Booral. Yes the internet makes the world a much smaller place!
Hi everyone.
I’m playing catchup and this is my first post.
I’m from the beautiful Fraser Coast (we can see Fraser Island from our house just across the strait).
I’m a mum of 5, Grandmother of 9, a carer for my husband and a volunteer firefighter. (why I have to do things when I can…hence the playing catchup)
I’ve been using PSP for 20 years, I think it is, and used it when it was Jasc 7! I still only have PSP X2.Here is my Day 2. I had to make a plate as for some unknown reason I could open the sandwich but not the plate file.
Cristina Hanlon I didn’t use a black background for my bokeh. I used one that complimented my photo. Maybe try that?
Day 7
Todays is based on my husbands cousin, who he ‘found’ on Facebook a few years ago, when she came out to meet us in 2015.
She loved meeting the family and she loved our country so much that she is coming back in November this year. It will be great to see her again.
My ‘polka dots’ reflected the Canadian connection.I’m sad this is the last challenge as I have really enjoyed doing these. Learnt new ways to do masks so after PSP’ing and even having written many tutorials for teaching PSP and digital scrapbooking myself, I had never used/made masks this way. Plus it has been a long time since I’ve had time to partake in anything like this, so a big Thank You to Carole for putting it up. Hopefully I can join in more of them.
I have loved seeing everyones work….. some great work ladies.
The font I used for my wire text was Sandscript BTN
Day 6
One of my sons and his family.
I did something a little different because when I did the 3 layers of ‘dots’ there still seemed to be
a lot of gaps, so I duplicated each layer then flipped them all to give a fuller effect.Day 5
These are my cousins at around the ages of 7 and 5.
Carl the eldest was 10 weeks younger than me and we used to get mistaken for twins.
Sadly he passed away 9 years ago from a brain tumor. He was only 56 years old.
Karen lives in Toowoomba these days. They were the brother and sister I never had
and were a huge part of my younger years.
The photo is a sepia photo and I used 2 brushes in the mask.Day 4 is about my gorgeous daughter…… Love her and so proud of her.
My Day 3
Chooky as she was affectionaly known sady passed away at the end of last year but wonderful memories of a beautiful lady that we loved so much.Day 2 challenge is about our loving our job as firefighters.
Had to improvise slightly a couple of things.
I did firstly do the plaid in multi colour but it looked too ‘busy’ so I colourised it to one colour.I made the plaid no problems but cannot getthat mask to work. I may not get this posted today. I got to figure it out. Now how I’m used to doing masks lol
My first one is of the love of my life on our wedding day.
The baby is our granddaughter Zoe.Yayyy I made it! Now off to have some fun with this one 🙂
