Looking forward to this, as a cardmaker it will be fun to try a few with psp instead of card and ink.

Ok so here aare 3 of my completed calendars showing how different the pages are but how using the same elements framing and fonts gives a kind of consistency even when placed differently. The christmas photo of my youngest grandaughters is by India Lane Photography who they do some demo modelling for.

I decided to give each page a little internal consistency by using the same colours I had used for the dates for the month on each page. Here is my September. The month is much more readable in the large version.

So many interesting calendars and so many different approaches.

I have gone with more blocky fonts and one that has an extrusion option for the titles. My backgrounds are all the same image but some versions are colorised and some have the HSL tool used on them. Here is my Maarch so far. My theme is family

Ok I am totally confused the email talks about changing the background looking at the video to see how we can add texture but the video is about changing the month

Anyhow using what I know to change the background here is one of the pages I am working on

                      Thank you Susan.

So here’s my day 7, something that is important to me, doing my bit, walking the walk. The world only changes when we get off our behinds and act. I was torn here wether to do a story about protest and activism or vollunteering, in the end I went for volunteering. The photo for the record is a general homeless shelter phot from the internet, not one of the CCHP guests as for privacy purposes we do not photograph the guests.

Playing catchup, as with many of my stories this is not about my childhood, but rathr about 35 years ago in my mid 20-s when I was homeless due to walking away from a violent relationship with my 2 very young children and what I could carry on a pram.

Cindy you can never use an / as part of a file name as it is one of the characters your computer uses for knowing where locations are, the hash shows up in the file path all on it’s own when there are subfolders, so if you open the cindy folders and make folders inside it then when you navigate to the subfolders from within psp you will see a / even though you have not used one in the name.

I think of all he promects I have done so far this has to be my favourite, papers and elements coming from tons of different places in my stash, more than a few, the alpha included coming from Marisa Lerin over atdigitalscrapbook.com. My main problem with all these projects is choosing which elements and papers to put together to complement the story I am telling. I think the waterdrop tube just finished this one off nicely.

Because I think the story may be too small to read on the reduced file it says :

When it came to sports day your house got a point if there was someone in a race no matter where they came, and obviously more points for those who came 1st, 2nd or 3rd. When sports day came there was no one for the Breast stroke 100 metres so I volunteered. On the day I prepared as usual and didn’t expect anyone to cheer me on due to my lack of popularity. The whistle went and in I dived, concentrating on nothing but my swim and making good turns at each pool end.

On my final length I could hear people shouting, “Margaret, Margaret” (my birth name) and I remember thinking oh there must be someone else called Margaret in this race. The shouts got more excited and as I touched out at the end of the final race a cheer went up. It seems the combination of racing dive and good corner turns had made up for my slower swimming and somehow I had won. I don’t think I have ever been more surprised.

I looked at this a slightly different way. I consider I began when I finally shook free of depression in my 40’s and changed my name.
The supplies come from a kit in my stash called bt 04-19

Getting in on this one early. This year I did the swim 22 challenge, swimming 22 miles (the distance of the channel) over a period of nearly 3 months. So my sport is swimming. This is me in my costume after I got out of the pool the day i finished my 22nd mile.

The trick to having two vectors in play is to create a new vector layer before creating the second vector so that it goes on it’s own layer rather than as a second object in the same layer as the first vector. I hope that made some sense for you.

I really enjoyed this one, it was a fun way to showcase a really dramatic black and white photo.

Hi Susan, have you considered saving after every step then if at any time it refuses to save you haven’t lost the whole project. It’such a pain when that happens.
