Dawn.
I found 2 photos of my Mum and Dad and thought I would create a page to add to a small album I will make. The side photo was taken earlier in their marriage and the bottom one which includes our pet dog Tootsie was taken not long before my Dad passed away back in 1967 . Even when Dad had a stroke and Mum had to work, to keep us afloat, their Love remained strong. These 2 photos show them in a loving pose at different times in their marriage. I decided to make them in a sepia tone as the photos were not in great shape, hence the whole theme is sepia tones. The wedding rings and flowers were done with psp tubes and the rose on the paper was done with a brush I created from a picture.. I hope my use of the word EVEN for this challenge is acceptable.
best wishes to everyone,
Dawn.
Royanne, you chose a great title for your photos and the way you have put it all together for this technique is great.. another wonderful page for the family album.
Dawn.
Royanne, loved your page, the colour, sayings and photos blend so nicely into the cloud background and very effective. a great memory page of your horse Bonnie.
Dawn.
Marlene, very nice page, the papers for the lighting very effective …. must have been a fun night.

Hello Cristina, thank you for leaving me a comment on my project. I appreciate it very much. … it took me a few days also to put something together for this challenge….. the butterfly was done in another programme like I mentioned in my post. but I am going to try and create another version of it in PSP.
best of wishes,
Dawn.
Royanne, .. thank you for your comment on my project. Your page is very nice and creative and your granddaughter looks a happy little girl. Another lovely memory for you all to treasure.
best wishes,
Dawn.
Marlene, Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment on my project. I hesitated posting it because it was so different a style of project for me to try. Even though I know it is not perfect, I enjoyed Cassel’s class so much I thought I would let my imagination go and try something fun with this Fantasy World technique.
Dawn.
Marlene, very nice page. I love to see all the different ideas for this challenge.
Here is my contribution to this challenge. I used a photo I had in my collection as a base for the project.. then found a clipart fairy I had in the folder as well, so from there it began. I followed Cassel’s video on how to do sunrays etc. but I added another glow for the fairy using layer styles outer glow. the butterflies I made long ago in a software called PhotoImpact using a tutorial. they have a fantasy look about them and they fitted the project theme. I made up a little story to put on the page.. this is my first attempt to do something like this.. it is not perfect. but you got to start somewhere. hope it comes up ok on screen. I have included the photo I started with in the upload
Best wishes to everyone,
Dawn.
I am registered for this challenge also.. may not get a page up very day but I will certainly give it a try. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s projects.
Anja, you picked a great title for your page to go with the photos. I have never been up in a plane, (and not likely to) I feel safer with my feet on the ground. very nice page!
best wishes,
Dawn.
Cristina, your page looks great! a very creative idea with the C letter, it really stands out nicely with the outline done that way. your photos remind me of a happy day at the beach. a very cheerful page!
best wishes,
Dawn.
Sheila Thank You for your kind comments on my page.. I am hoping they will like the card as it is a way to say thank you to them for giving me photos of their travels.
Cristina…Thank You for your encouraging comments on my page. I enjoy doing these challenges as they help the learning process in PSP. It is so great we can share this way in the Forum.
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Hello Everyone, here is my contribution to this July 1-2-3-Challenge. I used a purchased PSP Script to make the flowers and frames. Cassel’s Sequin Script was used for the heart shape and single sequin elements. the 3 photos were taken at Derby in Western Australia. The letter D is from an alpha set I have in my collection and have used it as a monogram for this page but it could also stand for Derby. The green patterned paper was made by me.. As I will be using this page as a card, I am hoping my sister-in-law and her husband will see the D and heart shape as saying “love from Dawn”.
Hello Solent, congratulations on winning a master class! your photo turned out great and you have reminded me of how nice that effect looks.. The result you have achieved would look great on calendars and cards. Well done! hope to see more of your projects.
best wishes,
Dawn.

Hello Marlene, your page layout is really lovely.. the photos of Mount Schank are beautiful, you have a great view from your kitchen, it is no wonder you spend a lot of time there.

Hello Cristina…. great idea to have used the thought bubble with sky word for the cat photo .. for me, it really sets the story of your page … also the photo buttons are a terrific idea. A Very creative and colourful page …. I really love it.
Dawn.
Hello Sharon…. you have achieved a nice effect…. Cassel’s tutorials are really great to do. Thanks for showing us your projects.
Dawn.
Cristina and Sheila…thank you both for the kind comments on my page.
Cristina I love having a go at making my own papers and masks…. there is still many effects in PSP that I haven’t tried yet. The joy for me is in the experimenting.
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Sharon, I am sure you will find Cassel’s tutorials and scripts very helpful and a joy to do. your flag element is also very nice. I haven’t done that one yet, must give it a go.
best wishes,
Dawn.
Hello Sharon and WELCOME! to the forum. I am sure everyone would enjoy seeing the elements you create with PSP.
hello everyone ! ….. here is my contribution to this Sky Challenge. I used Cassel’s Cloud alpha Freebie for the happy birthday. the plane is a picture tube from within PSP. the sunray and page curl were done in PSP effects as well. I had a cloud photo and blended it into the background paper. the sky and water scene photo was taken a few years ago at a beach near where I live. I decided to make a full page and then resize it down for my card making as I needed to have some cards for the male members of our extended family.
best wishes to all,
Dawn.
Cristina, Anja, mcfin and Sheila, thank you all for taking the time to leave a comment on my page for this challenge. it is great we can be an encouragement to one another in this way.
