Cristina , Thank you for your comment on my page. This challenge was a bit more challenging than usual… to come up with a theme for our page and then have 10 specific elements in it…. but I thought it was a good exercise for the brain and I enjoy that.
Sheila, Thank you also for your comment.
Anja.. you did a nice page.. like your colour scheme.
best wishes to you all,
Dawn.
Hello Sheila, you have done a nice page, your sky colour is really lovely with your sunburst … and I agree, this technique was fun to do.
Dawn.
Hello Kay, another nice page…. great idea to make scrapbook pages of your pets…. something to remember them by when they are no longer with us. . all the pages you do of them will make for a great album.

Here is my contribution to this challenge ……as I did not have a nice photo of the Wattle I used one from Pixabay.
Something from the store blog (any freebie)…used Cassels Ladybug Bead Art.
Something black……..Title- Golden Wattle
Something round….. Australia Map
Something with a number…… the Date at bottom.
Something attached to something else…… Tag and String.
Something with a hole….Eyelet at top of page.
Something that starts with the letter ‘T’……used a “Tree” brush in the background.
Something lifted from the paper…… notepaper with text on it
Something you made from scratch….. I made a Mask and used it on the Wattle photo.
Something made of wood…. used Cassel’s script to make a Wooden fenceHello Kay your page is lovely! a great photo ….. you have reminded me of the time we had a cat that adopted us and then a kitten that was adopted by the first and he decided to bring her home to us.(he must of thought she needed a home… which she did) Charlie and Kitty we called them and they became the best of friends as well. They became part of our family and were sadly missed when they passed away.
Don’t be afraid to join in the other challenges and activities in the forum. Cassel has a monthly “What did you do” area as well. Look forward to seeing more of your creations. Best wishes to you..

Hello Royanne, a very nice page and I can understand why you would want to scrapbook it. would have been a great experience on your travels to hold a Falcon in this way. your chosen colours are lovely . Thank you also for you kind comment on my project. Best wishes to you….

I decided to keep playing with this technique and created this one to put on a card. I have used a Free Rose Scroll frame from Graphic Fairy that I have had in my collection for ages… I modified the image to get the effect I wanted and then mirrored it to look like a heart shape…. the sentiment is from a purchased digital stamp set. … have used a tube from within PSP for the bottom flower. I painted the sentiment with the technique and then added a bevel to it… also used the airbrush to colour some of the flowers on the frame while leaving the rest black. I am enjoying this idea.. will probably do more up for my card making.

Hello Marlene, a lovely page and beautiful Wordart and sentiment … your page would make a wonderful Anniversary card. thank you for you kind remarks on my project.

Cristina, thank you for your kind comments (even though I managed to get one of the brush swirls the wrong way around) I appreciate it. I also forgot to mention that the Blossom sprigs are a purchased digital stamp. and the other sentiment font is a free one called MC Blossom.
Dawn.

Hello Everyone! here is my contribution to this Wordart challenge. as this was just for the technique I have kept the main page rather simple in layout. on the other page I am just showing 2 other wordart ideas that I created. On the WELCOME I painted a pattern onto the font and added some brushes and a rose tube and merged all together. ON the 2nd “have a great day” I used a daisy tube that is in PSP and spherized it and painted the font and again merged together. The other “have a great day” the font was done the same as the other one and I just added some swirl brushes and my butterflies and merged together. This technique is simple but fun to do.
Have just noticed that the bottom swirl on the “have a great day page” is facing down when it should be up…..hopefully you will still get the idea . (need another pair of new glasses I think).

Great Pages everyone! like them all.
I decided to make an album about “Dream” Travels. My husband Don and I, have never been able to do travelling, hence the title of my Front Cover on my project. My in-laws have been great in sharing the photos of their travels with us, so I have used some of them in this project. There was so much of our country we wanted to see over the years however we are unable to do so. So, we are very grateful, to our extended family members, when they send us their snaps……..Bye for now….Dawn.

Cristina, you have done great work for this technique and the photo you chose to start with suited your end result.. you have achieved both styles that Cassel demonstrated in the video. I had fun doing this technique to. the “Close Encounter” is a terrific title and both of your projects a very creative. like them very much.

Thank you Sharon !……. I have lost quite a few photos of when I was growing up over the years, so was very happy when I found those 2 photos in an old album that was stored away.
Thank you! Sheila , Cristina and Cassel, for the comments you each have left for me….. I was only 13 yrs old when my Dad died at 52yrs of age, I am now in my 60’s and my Mum is 98. the years have past, but the happy memories live on.
