Cristina you have done a lovely page . Your Happy to go Back title is great for this word challenge and they way you have done Back in the PlayDough Alpha is very effective and cheerful. The template you have used for your layout is a good one, it displays all your photos nicely. Thanks for sharing.

T = Tiles for roofing etc.
Marlene, you chose a great way to use the word Back for this challenge and it is so true. My husband Don and I have also found sometimes it is better to just hold on to the memories. A very nice page Marlene, you always do such nice work in telling us some of your stories to go with the photos. Thanks for sharing.

Cristina and Marlene….Thank You! to you both, for your kind comments on my project. I appreciate it very much. I have found some more photos of my Dad so I am going to try and do a page for him over the coming days…….Best wishes to you both

“Thank You Cassel” for your Crochet Lace Frame Freebie….it was just what I needed to finish my project as I needed a frame for the Wedding Photo…… Also a “Thank You” to Marlene for the inspiration I received from her A4 Collage Projects.
I decided to try doing some Memory Pages up for our Family. Here is one I have created in memory of my Husband’s Mother “Classie” who passed away when he was a very young boy. I tried to create a Vintage feel to the project (I hope I have succeeded). I also used Cassel’s Edge Font 2 to create a frame for the Portrait photo. The font is Klymissky on all the text except for the swirly divider under her name. The Roses I painted some years ago on a card for my Mum – she kept it- so I scanned it into my computer so I could keep using it.

Marlene.. I agree with Cristina, your page is beautiful.. The fonts you have used are really nice and I love the texture in the frame. I like to use these types of fonts and now that we know how to use them in PSP I will be using them more often I think.

mcfin, you have achieved a nice effect on the snow, you can really see the difference between the 2 photos.

Hi Marlene! great examples of these techniques from the class. I thought the Dartmouth soft focus very effective in making it look miniature. I also didn’t know much about the Manual Colour Correction but I know there will be times when it will come in handy.

Marlene, thank you for your comment on my page. I am going to ask my sister-in-law when she gets home from her travels in the Pilbara what that flower is called (if she knows).

Hi Cristina, the photos you chose look good in the slide mount frames for your definition word “Carpe Diem”…. I really like the way you have done your layout. the cardboard textured mat you have made looks really good. Cassel’s Painted Cardboard Script is also a handy script to have in our collection isn’t it…. the arrow and heart you created look great… . A very nice page Cristina…well done! Best Wishes to you…

Mitre box – for cutting neat joints for doors and windows frames etc.
after being inspired by watching Cassel’s Photo Cheats Master Class here is one example I have done. I found the class quite interesting as it is a technique that I have not played with up until now. I used the Radial option in the selective focus area on the bird an added the bokeh effect to it which I really enjoyed doing.
Cristina, thank you for your kind comment…. the flower photos were taken by my sister-in-law… the bottom one is a Desert Rose that she has growing in her garden…. the other one I don’t know the name of … was probably taken on one of their travels.
Marlene.. love the way you have combined all the components required for this challenge into your layout… the colours, photo and your definition word “Scrub” was a great choice. Well done!
Here is my contribution to this 1-2-3-Challenge for August. The sentiment is from a purchased digital stamp set .
1 -Definition —Chose the word “Flower”
2 – Slides —Used the Slide Mount Frame in PSP on the photos. I changed the colour of frames and added some paper texture to them.
3 -Cardboard Elements — Side border used Cassel’s Painted Cardboard Waves freebie…..Bottom circle frame used Cassel’s Painted cardboard frame freebie…… the flower shape I used Cassel’s Painted Cardboard Script and added a button

Hello Stella and WELCOME to the Campus. I am sure you will find all that Cassel has to offer here in the Campus very helpful in learning PSP. Look forward to seeing you post some of your projects here in the Forum as there are great Challenges to participate in. The inspiration and encouragement we can receive from sharing tips and ideas with each other through these activities is wonderful.
best wishes,

Hi Cristina!… a nice page and elements that work well to create your layout , really like the colours of your textured background paper. Cristina you gave me inspiration to go and do a couple of lessons that are in the Lab 7 modules 6 and 8 that I had not done yet and incorporate them in a card project.. Module 6 had a lesson for Patterned Fill shape and I used it on the greeting on my card. Module 8 has a lesson for Triangle Pattern and I have made a background paper with the pattern that was created.. I used Cassel-Leaves1 freebie element and also a Hibiscus flower that was created with a purchased script from Joannes Digital Design. I often send email greetings to family so this one will be an addition to my collection for printing as well. . Sometimes we can forget the Lab modules contain many ideas . Thank you for reminding me. There is still more lessons to try so will enjoy doing them also……… Dawn.
Hi Marlene…. thanks so much for sharing the size of the page and the resize amount for uploading here in the forum for the A4. I am going to try doing some projects in this page size for here and also for my Mum’s room at the nursing home. Sometimes it is nice to do something different than a 12×12. The page for the Mt Gambia band is great, love the way you have displayed the photos. really lovely work Marlene. Thanks for showing us.
Hello Anita…. a really lovely wreath page and the colours are beautiful… .your element creations are very nice. Do you do card making for your designs? I am sure they would be well received if you do.. thanks for sharing with us your projects.
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Hello Marlene. …. you make terrific collage pages… the one for Cyril really touches the heart just by viewing it and I think it is wonderful he is still able to play golf.. Great work Marlene! This would be a good idea for what I would like to do for my mother’s room at the nursing home. so I hope you won’t mind if I ask what size page did you start with and what did you resize it to for uploading here in the forum. I have always thought our size of A4 and A3 photo paper would make a great collage for hanging on a wall. This size would make for a great album book as well. Thank you for showing us your projects.

Hi Cristina, a great page and beautiful photos, lovely scenery… looks like a nice place to visit. I must get Cassel’s free edge magic script it creates a very nice effect on the photos…. and the button effect on the silhouette photo looks great… I know we all say it, but I love the way we can share ideas with each other… to inspire and encourage.

Hello Anita and WELCOME!….. I am sure you will enjoy the Campus and all it has to offer. ….

Hello Anja … Kai must have enjoyed building with legos and you have displayed them nicely on your page. The font is a nice one also. Thank you for showing us.
Here is my contribution to this Challenge. When Cassel put up this month’s Theme of Building I thought to myself maybe I wouldn’t have anything for this topic. However it got me thinking about building a house and what that means. I found a sentiment on building a house with hands and decided to do a page with that… I created the top wording. Thank you Cassel for the Lego Picture Tubes and the heart tubes, I have changed the colours to suit the project. I have used the lego tube also for a pattern in the background. The house photo is one of our house many years ago when an extension was being built.

Hello Marlene, a nice creative page. you have made great use of the picture tubes. . they come in handy from time to time don’t they to help create scenes like you have done or just adding an element…. it is amazing really what you can do with them…. I agree with you that this was an interesting challenge , it certainly got my brain ticking over for ideas.. but that is what challenges are all about isn’t it… and is part of the fun.

Hello Cristina, a lovely page, …. the photos of the little girl say that she was enjoying her time at the beach. I like the way you included embossing on your papers it gives a nice effect… another great memory page for the album.
Dawn.
Hello Royanne, very nice pages, great choice of colours on both and that outer glow on the photos so effective , I like using the glow effect also as it adds a really nice interest to a project. You and your hubby must have had very interesting travels.
