Hello Marlene, a very creative idea for this challenge . I love the way you put your stories together and thanks for sharing them with us. It is wonderful you still have the coat, but most of all, the memories that are attached to it.

Hello Sue, your pages are really lovely! I also enjoy doing up cards and the result you have achieved is terrific. Cassel’s scripts add such nice effects to our projects don’t they, especially the corner punches, they are one of my favourites. Very creative Sue and well done! Look forward to seeing more of your projects.
best wishes,

I am a bit late with this challenge however this is what I have come up with this morning. I have a liking for the vintage style and I added a little gingham to the mix in the hope it would create a vintage feel to the page. This was done really just for the fun of it and to help me relax. I did it in a black and white theme first but then decided it needed a bit of colour.
Items used on this page…Cassel’s Scripts- Gingham, Quick Scallops, Word Insert and also Cassel’s Lace Tube. The small flower is a PSP tube. The 2 vintage lady images are free clip art from Olddesignshop. The modern day one is from a purchased kit.

Hello Marlene, you have done a real nice pop art photo. as always it is great to see the before and after photos.
Here is my contribution to this challenge. This is my first attempt at it and I ended up turning mine into a card front. The original photo I got from Pixabay and the other 2 are what I created using the technique. on the card front I used a mask I created a few months ago on the image and added a purchased digital stamp greeting.

Hello Marlene, I really like your page. I also like the way you have used the overlay to create cross stitch effect on the photo… very creative idea. the font looks good as well. The journaling you have done is great, I enjoyed reading it and gives us a reminder of Norfolk Island’s history. The stickers and pockets for the photos all combine to make a very nice page.

Hello Cristina, your page is very nice.. Your photos , elements and journaling go well together for the Communication Theme. Your Quarter Foil pattern paper turned out great………. Sorry it has taken me a while to leave you a comment, however, my 98 year old Mum had a fall and broke a bone near her hip a few days ago and is in hospital. So until now I haven’t had a chance to pop in and leave you a note.

Hi Cristina, a very nice project ! ..looks like and interesting restaurant for people to go and see on their travels. … all your elements go well together and the triangle pattern stands out ..very effective. . The Foglihten font really suits your page, I have downloaded that one but as yet have not used it. I am sure these fancy fonts will continue to be used in many other challenge projects as they add that something special to the page. Thanks for sharing, it is always great to see other places.

Cristina, Thanks so much for your kind comments on my page. I am glad you were able to find a video on youtube that let you hear the Kookaburra. They are a family orientated bird and we often see a few sitting on the poles together and when they all start their chorus we just love it.
Dawn.
Marlene, You chose a great idea for you page…it is very nice!… the font you have used looks good. I also have downloaded a few lately . I really like all the elements and what a terrific idea to make your own sheet music. The photo you took of the buskers turned out great they are very colourful in their costumes.
Dawn.
The font I have used is a Fancy Font called Prida02calt by gluk. Even though I had opened the character map in PSP I didn’t use it. This is the way it typed on the page. I have done this page up mainly so you can see what this font looks like. I quite like the font so it is one I will probably use often . These fancy fonts are great and can make a card or scrapbook page etc. look special. The photos are from Pixabay. The mask on the top photo is one I made a few weeks ago. Also the Kookaburra is one of my favourites and I love to hear and see them in our yard.

I have struggled a bit with ideas for this challenge and I haven’t been well, so, I think my brain took some time out. However in the end this is what I have ended up with…. Memories of a Happy Time. The photo of the Dancers is from Pixabay and I blended into the background with multiply and then used eraser tool to softly blend the edges more . The record and skates were created using purchased PSD files from Joannes Digital Design. Extra music notes were done with Cassel’s music tube.
