Hello Marlene, the layout of your page is really nice and the story is great…. sometimes when we need help in those kind of circumstances new friendships are born.

Hello Shirley, I agree with Cassel, we have all been beginners at some stage, so please continue to share your creations with us. Your card and tags are very nice and I am sure your sister will enjoy receiving them, knowing that they were made by you.. I especially like the poem that you have written for her. Look forward to seeing more of your projects….. Best wishes to you!

Cristina, thank you very much for taking the time to comment on my card. I am enjoying doing them at present… there is still a few more to do to fill up the box, so it will keep me busy for awhile yet.
best wishes,
Dawn.
Cassel, your page is great! it put a smile on my face as I read the journaling.
For this Word challenge I have done a card which I will add to the collection I am doing for my sister-in-law as a gift. The free vintage image is from the graphic fairy and I have extracted the rose portion I wanted to use. I made a beaded heart with a preset shape and Cassel’s seed bead tube using the vector tube script. I also added an embossed overlay which I have in a kit that I purchased.

Marlene, thank you for your comments on my page…… Your page is great and your journaling as always is terrific. I also have never heard of the Giant’s Causeway … the photos show that it would be an interesting place for people to visit… I really enjoy reading about other places in the world ……. a very nice page Marlene!
Sheila… I love the flower you created with the beads…. the colours and the photos all make this project beautiful! well done.

Hi Cristina!… Great idea to make use of those calendar challenge templates… they were good ones and I have been thinking to use them again also. You page is very nicely done, Cassel’s floral freebie and the spray picture tube look lovely on your layout and your choice of using the wooden alpha was a good one for your theme. I love the colours in your layout…. By looking at your photos you would have had a pleasant day out…. Best wishes to you and I hope you have an enjoyable day!

Hello Cristina and Sheila …… thank you both very much for your kind comments on my page.

Here is my contribution to this 1-2-3- challenge…. I also added an embossed dot overlay from a purchased kit….. I used Cassel’s quick scallop script on the edges for the matt.
1- For the Plaid paper I used Cassel’s Plaid script……… 2- The photos are from a purchased collection I have and I used a triple frame script by Suzi on them……… 3 – I created a butterfly using a shape and Cassel’s Seed Bead 1 and chain bead picture tubes with the help of the Vector tube script……I also used 2 of Cassel’s floral freebies for the seed bead tube.

Cristina, a really nice project!… Your Word Art title.. and all the elements you created from the lab module look great! I especially like the way you did the lined paper it is so effective and suits your layout really well.. . I haven’t tried the paper lesson yet but seeing your paper has inspired me to give that a go.
all the best,
Dawn.

micfin , Cristina and Sheila, Thank You all for taking the time to leave a comment on my project. I appreciate it very much. I am enjoying my card making at present and have quite a few more to go to make a nice collection. I want to get them to my sister-in-law before Christmas so she has got them for next year as most of them will be done for any occasion greetings.
Best wishes to you all,
Dawn.
I am still working on my collection of cards to give to my sister-in-law and as I know she also likes vintage, I have decided to do some vintage style postcards to add to the mix I am giving her. I have also created a postcard back which I have posted to show how it would be when printed. The free background and home images are from the old design shop.. and I have again used the girl image that was on my earlier post because I felt it fitted the scene theme. the gold spike effect on the card was done with a gold pattern and then using the Blinds and Spiky Halo in PSP Effects. a technique I picked up from a free tutorial. The font I used is Harrington.

it took a while for me to come up with an idea for this challenge…however, this is my contribution …..I have used Cassel’s Clothes Shapes…. The 2 sewing machine images are from Pixabay… The vintage lady free image is from the old design shop.

Hello to Everyone….. I have been registered for this challenge and looking forward to it. I enjoyed the last one so I am sure this will be great to.
here is my contribution to this Word Art challenge…. just one example of the treasured moments in my life. ..the photo was from Unsplash and I masked it as I only wanted a portion of the image. The heart shape is a free brush .

Hi again Peggy, this time last year I found the process of participating in the Forum a bit daunting but as time goes on I am sure you will find it a pleasant experience… especially here in the Campus. I know I have been inspired by the many other participants here in the Forum. It is a great way to share our ideas and also learn from the many tutorials etc that Cassel has. We have a similar interest in doing cards … I enjoy doing them to give away as gifts. I look forward to seeing more of your creations here in the Forum. If you are a new member here than I would say a big WELCOME! to you.
best wishes,
Dawn.
Hello Cristina, you have come up with a very nice project for this challenge… your title and journaling was a great idea… well done! You are not going over board with any of the elements you put in your layouts.. Cassel has great products and tutorials and it is a joy to use them. I still have not got an idea for this challenge yet.

Cristina, thanks so much for your comment on my project.. my sister-in-law loves cards that are different…
micfin, thank you for the comment on my page. in answer to your question, no I don’t get the weekly freebie however I may look into that as the site offers some very nice vintage images. Your page looks terrific, you have done a really nice work, very creative! look forward to seeing the next one!
Rizzi and Peggy… both of your pages are very nice… it is wonderful that you both are showing us some of your projects.

Thank you Cassel for your kind comments on my page… the FlashCard Script is a very handy script to have in my collection.
Marlene, your page is really nice. I love all things vintage and your page turned out great.
best wishes,
Dawn.
micfin, a very nice combination of elements for your page. Makes a lovely greeting.
I created this 12×12 page project after being inspired by a free tutorial by Tish on the pspmadeez site that I have had for quite some time, but decided to try over the weekend.. I intend to reduce it to various sizes for my card making as gifts.. The items used in this project are Cassel’s Chain Bead Tube and also Cassel’s Bow 3 script. The girl image I extracted from a free image on the Graphic Fairy site.. Rose brush on panel was created from an old image I have and the 3 roses are a tube within psp program. The sentiment is a purchased digital stamp. This one I will also include in a collection of cards I am doing up for my sister-in-law as a thank you gift.

Ideas haven’t been coming to quickly for me of late however here is my contribution for this challenge. These are my favourite flowers.. the Rose,Orchid, Pansy and Carnation photos are from Pixabay. The Hibiscus was done with a purchased script. The font is Prida02Calt I have used it again because it has become one of my favourites. I have used Cassel’s FlashCard Script to frame the photos.
