thankfully my relatives love roses also so here is a couple more cards I have done. I have used images of my hand painted roses one with pencils with the help of a purchased digital stamp and the other one was done with acrylic paint .. once I scanned the images into computer and then into PSP I was able to alter them and turn them into what you see here and actually I have been quite pleased with how they print out as I use good paper and change the colour settings in printer a bit to get the right look…I also used Cassel’s edge font 2 letter m for the glitter matt and the diamonds were done with a tube… the sentiments are purchased digital stamps… hope the colour comes up on your computers ok…. best wishes everyone.

Hello Cristina… I like the colour tones you have chosen to use with your black and white photo… the placement of all the elements and the angle of the papers … as well as your numbers paper in the background make a very nice page layout ….

Hello Sheila , so glad all your work was appreciated…. the invitations look beautiful… I love the embossing on the card and the flowers you have made are adorable… they take some time to do don’t they ( I make flowers also) but the result is so effective and the smile it can put on the face of the one who receives it.. is worth it … Well done to you for having made 100 of them for this special occasion.

Thank you Michele for liking my card…. it was a new style i tried …… along with your birdcage project your Easter Pastels also is so cute! . .. i like the way your paper turned out. it can be real fun creating our own papers. i haven’t done a lot with the kaleidoscope effect, must play with the idea a bit more…. hope you enjoy making more new papers.

just finished another birthday card… this one is also for emailing. …both the Lace and the floral heart shape we done with photoshop brushes… one is called Lace by roula33 and the other Suddenly Spring by Gvalkyrie and I downloaded them from a site called My Photoshop Brushes quite some time ago….. the roses were created from a purchased PSD file called watercolour roses from Joannes Digital Design… the rose paper is from a purchased kit and as far as I know is no longer available as the site has closed. I made use of glitter in this card for the lace and borders and heart shape….

Hello everyone….here is my page for this challenge….. I made the polka dot paper…. used Cassel’s 4 hole button and ribbon freebies….. I made the green element with psp tubes and also used Cassel’s twisted string tube..

Hello Michele… a cute layout … the picture tubes can be used to a very nice effect can’t they… I like what you achieved!
I am still enjoying making up cards for print or emailing… here is one I have just finished….. I have used a freebie photo that I have used before but each time I do use it I try to have it look a bit different and I added a bubble effect on the photo to hopefully help it look as if it is encased….. I made the daisy flower paper and I used Cassel’s Burnt edge script on it. The oval frame for photo was made with the help of Cassel’s Edge Font 2 letter n and I then added Blue Spruce texture and a gradient to it to give the effect I wanted…. I also used Cassel’s new Bow13 sample freebie of bow and lace.. I changed the colour white to what you see below…. also used Cassel’s Custom Kit Ribbon Script and PSP Flower tube -01 for the flowers. Cassel I really like how your new Bow13 sample freebie turned out so I will be buying the script this week. Thanks for the freebie!
I was aiming for a Vintage style theme for this card… hopefully I have achieved it.

have been playing with Cassel’s Glitter scripts…. also I used an old glitter pattern that I did in another program quite some time ago for the background paper…. I wanted to make a Thinking of You card to send via email and this is what I came up with. The pansy image was free from the Graphics Fairy…. I used Cassels’ corner punch set D….. and the bow and ribbon made with a purchased script from Joannes Digital Design… . I haven’t done a lot with glitters so I thought I would give it a try.

This is one of our favourite birds that visit our yard….. the photo is from Pixabay and the mask is one I made. I have also used Cassel’s music note tube……. the singing of these birds is just beautiful !

hello Britt…… I like your page to and I also don’t think it is too busy, I agree with Cristina’s comment, as we do all have different styles of creativity and it is always nice to see everyone’s layouts . I to have started out on a particular tutorial and ended up with something different but that is the joy of it all. tutorials are only a guide to start us on our way.

Sheila, I also hope your cataract surgery goes well for you. wow making that number of paper roses would have taken some time but I bet they look very pretty…. I will also be making some for a batch of cards I am giving as a gift…. I am sure your efforts will be appreciated as it is so nice to have something hand made for those special occasions.

Sheila, thanks for sharing how you did your project. I quite like what you have achieved and the effect is really interesting… I might give it a try…. and by the way some time ago you posted a project of glittered edge flowers that you made…. I forgot to say thanks for sharing at that time I think …… so anyway I gave it a try and I am reasonably happy with my result….. so thank you very much for sharing the idea. … I also like to try and make my own flower elements… I enjoyed making a flower using Cassels petal tube.

Day 7….. this photo was taken in 1982 and this year we will celebrate our 46th Wedding Anniversary.
to everyone who has participated in this challenge so far, it has been a pleasure to come and view your beautiful work … and to Carole (Cassel) Thank you so much for all the time and effort you give to putting up all the challenges here in the campus.. I know I appreciate it very much and I enjoy participating in them.

my Day 6…… quite some time after Jack passed away Ernie came into Mum’s life and they were married. He was also a very dear man. Mum never married again after Ernie passed away but she had us to keep her company right up until she passed away at 98 years old. I felt I needed a softer Bokeh effect for this photo so that is what I did.
Day 5 …. a little more of my Mum’s life journey…….. Mum was only 48 yrs old when Dad passed away, so when Jack came along it was nice to see her smile again. Jack was a bit older than Mum and they had 10 happy years together before he passed away. As a Step Dad his care and kindness will never be forgotten. and I was always grateful for the love and care he gave to my Mum.
