Hello Annie, your second Beach page and the Beach Wedding look great. … quite a few years ago I visited a couple of the islands in my home state (Queensland) but I never went to Stradbroke Island … it looks like the great Queensland weather put on a wonderful smile that day… you are creating lovely work Annie..
Dawn.
Cassel your sand texture looks great on your layout.
Annie your page has a nice summer beach feel to it….. the Lab8-03 lesson circle of shapes was fun to do and really quite easy wasn’t it.
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Annie and Michele thank you both so much for the kind comments you gave on my card….

Hello Michele, I am sure your friend will be delighted to receive such a thoughtful surprise because you made it with love from your heart. From one learner to another I think your page is very sweet.. I really like it…… the cats and the little badge with kitty face you made look so cute… … Michele we all do different styles of projects and sometimes we can think our end result is not good enough (I know I do) or our confidence is a bit low… but I would like to encourage you to remember that every project we make in this PSP journey is indeed a creative work of art… and I enjoy seeing yours !
best wishes to you my friend,
Dawn.
I found myself dabbling with another poser image that is free at pannsplace. it is a card for the young and young at heart who happen to like butterflies and fairies… I don’t do much with fantasy style in my card making but for some reason this image got me playing. I created a little background scene with PSP tree, flower and grass tubes and a free brush called suddenly spring to go with the flowers. I made the embossed butterfly overlay from a free image at the old design shop. deleted the white areas and extracted 3 different butterflies from the image and made a brush with them. with the brush I made a page layer design and then used Cassel’s Emboss Script on it… duplicated that layer a few times to get the effect I wanted and then used layer blend mode overlay to get what you see… font is Zinikomit N0.24

Your latest 3 projects are beautiful Annie… your pages are a joy to view.
Dawn.
Cristina you are certainly not on your own when trying to be happy with what we create in our projects I also have that problem sometimes.
your page is lovely and you did well to do each of the element tutorials for that lab module. I have only done the chrome one so far… not getting the tube element right as yet…. you have created a happy page and I like the way you did the patchwork title.. looks great..
Dawn.
Hello Cristina, thanks so much for liking the card… I just enjoy card making… but most of all giving them away when finished.
Dawn.
Annie, your dandelion vignette was such a creative idea. it looks great… well done!

Patricia your project is very nice and I love the pink floral background you created… hope the plant sale went well.
Michele your granddaughter looks lovely and all the extra elements you have added to the template are indeed a compliment .
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Thank you Sheila for your kind comment.

Thank you Michele, I am hoping she will like this one as she enjoys receiving my cheer cards…. vintage style is an area of card making I really enjoy doing…. it is nice to know that you like vintage to.
Dawn.
beautiful page Annie and such thoughtful journaling…. well done!. the lab templates are great to work with and sometimes you can start with it as a base and then our own creativity takes over. it is always so interesting to see how everyone has used them in their projects.
All the best,
Dawn.
Thank you so much Annie for your kind comment on my card… So glad you are enjoying the tutorials and I enjoy viewing what you have created.
best wishes,
Dawn.
Annie another lovely page… you seem to be enjoying the Basic scrap course 1 and your projects are looking great.
As I love making cards whether it be for sending via email or the traditional way with paper etc. PSP really does help me achieve in both areas of my craft work.. I just love the program and I learn something new with it every day. This project is done for a friend and to be sent vial email as a cheer card greeting. it is good to have a sense of humour when you get into your 60’s or older because some days when health issues are not that good you can feel very vintage…… I have used Cassels Chain bead tube and Bow 13 script as well as her tutorial for Tulle lace which I have made for the background. The vintage photo is an online freebie and the Parchment frame is from a purchased kit I got some time ago but the site where I purchased it closed down last year. the floral cluster was made using a psp tube and a free swirl brush . I enjoyed doing my last project with a double page so I have done this one as a double page as well.
Dawn.
well done Michele! love the effect you have achieved. such a pretty photo to have used for this technique and adding the flower tube was a great idea.
Dawn.
Sheila those flowers are just beautiful !…. I especially love the rose you painted with the line drawing it looks so pretty… well done !
Dawn.
a really lovely card Michele ! … cards are fun to do and you did a terrific effect with the kaleidoscope on such a pretty paper. The font is really nice and you are right … the bow turned out great !
best wishes,
Dawn.
Michele, I appreciate very much your comments on my project and I am also happy that I can once again participate in the forum.
Cristina, my friend did install Firefox to do testing with and it did work so we will leave it on my computer in case the problem returns. Thank you so much for your comments, they are always appreciated….. I did miss not being able to participate.
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Annie thanks so much for your kind comments I appreciate it very much… I enjoyed doing this double layout so I will probably do some more in this format .
best wishes,
Dawn.
hello Everyone… a little update on the problem I was having trying to upload etc in the forum area. my computer friend came home from his holiday and after much testings he determined it was internet explorer 11 that had a hiccup in it somewhere… so he reset it and what a surprise…. he was right… so now problem solved.. ( I hope).
I started this project with the Lab 8-06 template modified but ended up with a double page layout. I hadn’t really tried the double page effect but I am pleased with how it turned out. The photos were taken by my in-laws on their vacation travelling through the Bunyeroo Valley…. The gold tone paper is a freebie from the coffeeshop blog and I used Cassel’s Torn edge script on it… I made the plaid paper and the floral rings brush….I chose the Chrome tutorial from Lab 8 to create the Australia word but changed the colour to blend better with my colour theme.
Dawn.
Annie a very sweet page and a beautiful memory for you to hold on to.
best wishes,
Dawn.

Michele…. your page looks great and I also think that the frame and font look real special.

Cristina, really nice page you have created… those lab templates are really great to have … so many ways to adapt to any theme. great use of those freebies, I don’t remember seeing that flower power sample but must go and have a look. Hubby has let me use his computer again for a few minutes while he is busy on other things so I thought I would pop in the forum to say hi .
best wishes,
Dawn.
Hello Cristina….thank you for your kind message in your earlier post. I appreciate it very much…. I am posting this comment from my Husband’s computer as I have been having technical difficulties in posting in the forum from my computer for a while now and I haven’t been able to fix it… I can log into the campus etc, but cannot type anything in the forum area as the text is not visible.. so I am waiting for our friend who is a computer technician to come home from holidays so he can hopefully sort the problem out for me…. hopefully all will get back to normal soon for me…. just thought I would come and let you know why I haven’t been participating…
best wishes,
Dawn.
