I love all three of these pages Sue, my nature loving friend, beautiful work … of course! The world has gone topsy turvey as far as weather patterns go. I heard on the news that Canada has had a flood of heat realated deaths, how bizarre! Definitely not something I would expect to hear about Canada. Here in Australia the delta variant of COVID19 has taken a bit of a hold and state border closures are up and down like yo yos. In Bundaberg we are experiencing a wet winter … now that is unheard of! For as far back as man has been able to research there has been climate change so instead of trying to change that (as if) perhaps we just need to start looking at ways to adapt to it … and ways to stop harming nature! Stepping down from the pulpit, lol! ;D

Hello Scrapbook Campers. This is for the theme … I love seashells so I will be indulging myself with this challenge. Photo courtesy of Unsplash, frame is Cassels, bow from my stash, wordart my own as are the background, border and tag. Bead element on the tag is from Cassel’s script. Fonts are Primrose and Starfish … the alpha is from Far Far Hills. The little quote in the wordart seems to be a very popular one but there is no mention of the author. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D
Laurie your travel tale is most interesting. You put a smile on my face when you said you were disappointed with your leather tag … I cannot begin to tell you how many times some of mine have gone into the rubbish bin, lol! A lovely page my friend, keep on keeping on and a perfect leather tag will just pop up one day. ;D
Thanks very much Ayla … had to copy and paste into the browser but other than that it worked fine. It is a lovely kit, kudos to you my friend. ;D
Thanks so much dear Mary, always appreciate your lovely comments my friend. 😉
Lovely work Sue. They are such cute little critters … sweet little bright eyes. Enjoyed the perusal dear friend. ;D
One more for the tut tech challenge before the month clocks over. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D
You achieved it Mary, well done. 😉
Beautiful Connie … your colour scheme is delightful. Well done Hon. 😉
Anja, this is a delightful sample. I am very interested in getting the link to the kit, very kind of you my friend. 🙂
Mary your pages are lovely and consistent. I’m enjoying the trip my friend, 😉
Laurie … a lovely page and such a delightful travel tale … enjoyed my friend, thank you. ;D
Dear Minka, your life is a traveller’s adventure, lol! You are always so informative. Thanks for your lovely comments my friend and I hope your barn renos go smoothly. New computers are always … a pain and exciting at one and the same time! Hugs to ya my friend. ;D
Love your page and fab information regards the boulder and the painter. History is such fascinating stuff. Well, I think we can all say we have travelled around a bit during this challenge … and it has been very enjoyable! Thanks dear Corrie. ;D
I love text on a path and these tutorials are excellent. This one is a simple play. The background is a journal card by Rachel Etrog from PixelScrappers. The paint splash is by Gina Jones from PixelScrappers. I created the flower using the pen tool and was thus able to place the text on the flower stem. The two fonts are Anmari and Bite Chocolate. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D
Thanks dear Corrie, very glad you liked it my friend. <3
I have loved every second of your trip to Botswana dear Ann. Your postcard is delightful. Well done my friend. ;D
Very nicely done Mary … and much easier to peruse since you split it. Well done my friend. ;D
Thanks so much Ann, I always appreciate your comments my friend. The background I created by using a solid white background onto which I added 3 overlays using different blend modes and opacities. Really pleased you liked it Hon. ;D
Thanks Cassel! The tags worked fine but there wasn’t much room on the north island of New Zealand to punch a hole … if it were real I don’t believe it would last too long, lol! Over the years there have been some fantastic stamps floating around. Australia Post did some amazing ones but they seem to be phasing them out now … shame. 🙂
Day 7 is finished. This is one of the beautiful mirror lakes in New Zealand. I carved my name into a stone and tossed it into the lake for ‘posterity’. Kaleidoscope background with a couple of overlays and a texture. Text on a path and reverse text on a path for Toni Morrison’s quote. Photo is courtesy of TripAdvisor. Thanks for takin a peek dear friends. ;D
Thanks dear Corrie, always appreciate your lovely comments my friend. <3
Thanks dear Ann and no problem … here is the postcard for easier perusal. Hugs……Annie T
Dear Corrie, I can feel the history emanating from your page. It is really lovely my friend and, yes, that font is perfect for your project. Well done Hon, I love it. ;D
LOL! I hope the cheetah wasn’t there while you were making your mark Ann. What a little cutie Sonya is and her birthday card is lovely. Well done Hon and enjoy the birthday party! ;D
Your work paid off dear Sue … a beautiful page my friend. Like yourself I love listening to nature. Simone (my daughter) and I recently purchased some backyard chickens, and because our yard is completely fenced with 8ft fences, they are totally free range. I love them. Of course I have to protect my little vegie and herb garden from them but such a small price to pay for the delight of beautiful fresh eggs. We have a lot more birds around now to share the pickings (mostly fruit doves) and it is so relaxing to watch them all in action. Hard to believe the first month of winter has passed here in Australia. Spring will be here 1st September and strangely enough it does occur like that here in the land of Oz. Winter one day Spring the next and that only lasts a month if we are lucky. October and November are supposed to be spring months but the temps can get mighty high so we claim them as summer months, lol! ;D
Day 6 – Postcard from Tasmania. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D
Day 5 and full of stamps! Three outstanding photos for each of my destinations. Top to bottom – Brisbane, Hobart, Auckland. I am such a brilliant photographer that I could not decide on one photo so I went with 9 of my best shots … just kidding! I am a photography dunce so you can imagine how grateful I am for all the amazing sites that offer beautiful freebie photos. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D
Another beauty Sue, I love it dear friend. Thanks for the barcode, I shall be snagging for sure. Enjoy your kayaking on the lake and I hope you score many great shots. Hugs and Love … Annie T
