Thank you, Susan and Marie-Claire for your kind words. You guys make my day! 🙂
Nice, Trish. I think I like “overboard” the best! 🙂
I need a new Facebook header, so I used the template Carole gave us on Day 1 and created one for Ukraine.
Corrie: me, too! 😉
Time for my April Big Cat Calendar. I used one of the lions from my template workshop. All the big cat photos I use are from a calendar my daughter gave me. I used the photo to make a kaleidoscope background. I re-colored the calendar graphic and added a white border and then applied inner bevel.

Gerry, thank you very much! They are magnificent, aren’t they!
I finished up my Big Cat series with this plea for help. Hopefully, the US Senate will pass this needed protection soon. Some papers are from my Animal Kingdom kit. I added an extra photo by using the paint splash at the top as a mask.
Whereas, I went to the local liquor store. I found their boxes to be sturdier and they would routinely leave them outside for those who needed them. Also, smaller, so good for books which are heavy to begin with.
So, I finished the Cover for my Big Cat album so here’s the whole series, 7 designs so far. I may have to do a “back cover” to end up with an even number for the album… The cover font is Broadway. The template is #7-Diamond that had 2 photos which I joined into one and then even joined the two groups so I could add some shadowing. I’m getting better at this stuff! LOL The striped paper was one of Marisa Lerin’s freebies yesterday.
Ha ha, Gerry! That’s really amusing, especially the Phantom mask. 😀 Really nice design, too. Did you create that background? It’s right on point with the topic.
Lynda, thank you! Now I’m re-thinking this a bit and see that page more as in index rather than cover. So, on to the next creation, the REAL cover. 😀
FINALLY finished the Index for my Big Cats Album. This is the Diamond Template #5. It just gave me more room for the extra photos. Now on to Day 7, hopefully, the cover. I didn’t even unzip the templates or watch the video yet!
EDIT: After contemplating my “finished” design I decided to try changing one of the photos that I had already “merged to group.” I put the new photo on a layer just above the group and tried the “clip-to-it” with the group as the base. It worked! So, all I had to do was maneuver the photo to my liking and Merge to Group again.

My final Big Cat is the Bengal Tiger. I used the Diamond Template from Day 6. I’m still working up a cover page using Day 5 with the small photos, but I wanted to finish the tiger first.
Finally finishing up my Day 4-Diamond Template. Here’s CHEETAH. The font is called “Children Funny.” I had to use the Raster-to-Mask script for the bottom photo. The Clip-to-It did not work; it kept tossing the photo and mask into the previous group. Now on to Day 5 as I have yet to watch that video!
TEMPLATE-DAY 4 – Hudson River Watercraft. All photos by Chuck Calio on The Hudson Valley in Pictures.
Hank, you might want to post this TEMPLATES work in the Templates Forum here so Carole will see it. This page that you’re on is for Masks, an older workshop. Nice layout!
I looked closely at my CAMOUFLAGED JAGUAR again and realized I inadvertently had the shadow on top of the font. No wonder it looks so dark! I also added a little more greenery and put some noise on the title, so it looks more furry.
Julie – When I click on VIEW/CUSTOMIZE, I get this dialogue box. The Scripts are on the top right.
Oops, I see Carole had the answer. You’re in the wrong workspace. Go to Complete for the total package.

Here’s my BIG CAT for day 3 – CAMOUFLAGED JAGUAR – The title font is Belisha that I filled with two different jaguar fur patterns from the photo and used a black stroke. I used all the elements from the template and added an extra bit of greenery for the camouflage. Carole, this workshop is outstanding!
DAY 2-DIAMOND TEMPLATE – THE AFRICAN LION The title font is Baby Olivia. For some reason my PSP is being strange with my font sizes. The reading text in this is down to font size 02! I did various re-starts and temp deletes but no help. It all wants to be HUGE! This is more from my Big Cat Calendar.
TEMPLATES-DAY 2 – COUGAR – Photos from my Big Cat Calendar that Laurey gave me for Christmas. It was too small for my wall, so I pulled it apart and scanned the photos for digital use. The title font is Bernard MT. Learning useful techniques in this class. Thanks, Carole!
Beautiful, Jnet. I can even smell those lilacs!!

Here’s my offering for the Random Challenge. Great-grand Magic sends warm thoughts. Marisa Lerin kit.
Wow, Lynda, those Mardi Gras layouts are outstanding! I do like all the color and excitement you have captured. I was wondering if you would allow me to show them to my daughter, Deb, who lived in NOLA for years and whose husband was born and raised there. Lucky was a river pilot on the Mississippi and was almost as colorful as your photos! 😉
Lynda, there’s space for your message and image but nothing shows in the Forum for me.?

Thanks, Susan! 😀
I recognize it, Connie. I went to school a few miles away at SUNY – New Paltz. Woodstock was just up the road from me in Sullivan County. Everybody got wet at that one! 😀
Here you go, Susan! 😀
