Hi Bonnie,
I tried your suggestion and changed the font but that wasn’t it either. I spent hours on it, too, and discovered that everything fit the way it should if I turned off Bold. I used my original font with bold on and off and everything worked when I turned off bold.
Thanks for your suggestions.
April 21, 2020 at 2:45 pm #41692The day 2 link is not working. If you go to your day 1 link and click it. The following will appear in bar https://scrapbookcampus.com/promo/wise-words/wise-words-day-1/ simply delete the 1 and type 2. It will work then.
April 21, 2020 at 2:51 pm #41694SORRY for the link errors. For any future link, it is always following the same path:
scrapbookcampus.com/promo/ wise-words/ wise-words-day-1/ (just remove the spaces and change the number for the day)APOLOGIES for this inconvenience.
April 21, 2020 at 2:53 pm #41695Day 2 challenge I had lots of fun with this one too. I made the lifted photo frames, used Cass Clip To it to clip the pictures. Then added a texture to the frame. Added a texture to the Font. Used Cass Strip Cluster Maker to make the cluster at the bottom of the page. Then used Cass Shadow Placer for all the shadows in the cluster. The eye was from a kit and the eyelash was a brush. Recoloured the tractor, it was red, to match our orange tractor. Added date stamp used Cass Date Stamp 2. The elements came from a purchased kit.
April 21, 2020 at 2:55 pm #41696Hi Mary, thanks for the diligence to figure it out. I had the same problem but was not able to figure it out. I just used another font and maybe did not turn on bold……. Thanks
April 21, 2020 at 3:21 pm #41697Royanne,
Apple of My Eye is so cute. Brave man standing in that bucket.. 🙂
April 21, 2020 at 3:23 pm #41698No problem , Carole . I should have figured it out. Didn’t even occur to me to just change the number. I’ll remember if there is a next time.
April 21, 2020 at 4:07 pm #41700Day 2. In this page I used an adjustment layer. Vector tube script on the word April. Character map. Thank you Carole another great tutorial. This technique is quicker than the one I usually use. Awesome pages being created, keep up the good work everyone!
April 21, 2020 at 4:24 pm #41701I tried the new link but the password is not working. Is the password the same for all lessons?
April 21, 2020 at 4:50 pm #41704Rita, the password is given in the email and is different every day.
April 21, 2020 at 4:55 pm #41706Day 2. I enjoyed the class. Very interesting. The picture is mine, it’s from last year and was taken on my front yard at sunset. I used Carole’s template.
April 21, 2020 at 5:18 pm #41709A bit later but here is my day 1. I used the template, but the photo is mine. It took me a while to figur it out but I got there in the end. Nice work from everybody!
April 21, 2020 at 5:44 pm #41710Great work. I love it.
April 21, 2020 at 5:51 pm #41713For today’s challenge, I got to use a photo I have been itching to use for several years. My husband is an actor, and we were rambling through the rainforest in Olympic National Park with our (adult) son, when my husband popped out from behind a tree. The mixed-up title format seems to fit perfectly!

I used the template from Carole, with other elements and my own photo.

April 21, 2020 at 9:13 pm #41730Wise words day 2. It is pretty busy, but I was quite pleased with how the text worked out. I foraged through my stash for the papers and elements
April 21, 2020 at 9:22 pm #41731Alicia, you will love New Zealand but I guess your visit will be delayed until we are out of lock down and I am not sure when our borders are going to open. Our government have ordered very strict rules and I don’t think overseas travel will happen in the close future. Let me know when this time comes and how far south you are planning to visit, we may be able to meet
Cheers Shirley
April 21, 2020 at 9:28 pm #41732Annie, Thanks for your remarks, and it is good to see your happy face again. Keep safe and well.
April 21, 2020 at 9:30 pm #41733Lynda, your page for day 2 is delightful. If you are sending to your granddaughter I am sure she will be thrilled. <3
Marie-Claire you have captured a great shot of your friends. There is a story to be told from that I am sure. Well done Hon.
Sue, thank you so much my friend and you are most welcome. The hand is improving slowly so I will not push it and only be creating for this challenge. I think perhaps age is fast catching up with me, 😉
Minka, you have showcased Edward Hopper’s artwork beautifully and the title text is delightful, well done my friend.
Shirley, a lovely page my friend. I love the colour scheme … perfect, and, your title is spot on, pulls the whole thing together beautifully! <3 -
