It is a new month and new projects.

We are curious and want to see, learn and get inspired.
These threads are quickly becoming a fantastic source of inspiration, support, and friendship. Keep them coming!
November 7, 2020 at 9:54 am #48725Word art and frame, no two pages are ever the same Blue Jay and Autumnal colours.
November 7, 2020 at 9:59 am #48728Woo-hoo… The Campus is back!
Sue, as I said on FB, great layout, amazing photo… I love his hairstyle!
November 7, 2020 at 10:04 am #48730You did say, and I thank you for the kind comment Cristina. After a beautiful week with the temp in the high teens, even 21c, this morning everywhere is white and still snowing. This is another one I did the other night. Sask Native Aster.
November 7, 2020 at 1:08 pm #48742No comments required, I’m reposting what I created and previously posted for November. Doing them myself, to save Carole time. Beautiful Mess masterclass, used the paper I created, in frames and the background paper. I enjoy doing word Art, to showcase my photos.
November 7, 2020 at 1:11 pm #48744This is the background paper, using colours from the photos, to resemble crushed, broken autumnal fallen leaves.
November 7, 2020 at 1:13 pm #48746Drinks Challenge. Blended a photo of the bottle either side of an apple photo, also used the colours from the colour challenge.
November 7, 2020 at 1:16 pm #48748Sorting through my macro shots, a fun page, created the word art, using the pen tool, mesh warp tool.
November 7, 2020 at 1:19 pm #48750Another one for the drinks challenge. Word art, extracted 2 flower to add to the page, and a masked photo of milky coffee and a ginger nut biscuit.
November 7, 2020 at 1:21 pm #48752I couldn’t delete this page from the October showroom, created this page night before last. Blue Jay , autumnal colours. Framed with word art.
November 7, 2020 at 1:26 pm #48754This is also from the other night. Sask Native Aster. Masked the flower image, and then framed it. My posts are now up to date. Lovely to have you back Carole, technology is wonderful, until it goes wrong. I can’t even start to imagine how frustrated you must have been. Thank you for all that you for us.
November 7, 2020 at 2:32 pm #48763Sue…I love what you did with the Beautiful Mess background. It almost looks like a field of flowers. Your Drinks challenge layout is fantastic. Like how you blended the bottle pictures with the apple. And, of course, the sheep pictures at the top are a cute addition. Your second Drink challenge is just a gorgeous and the quote is so apropos.

Kit: A Great Adventure ©Kimeric KreationsNovember 7, 2020 at 5:40 pm #48773A photo I took back in the summer of 2018. I did a simple 3 tier frame then. This is what I created with that same photo today. I took a portion of the photo, duplicated, mirrored, merged, duplicated, flipped, merged, copied and paste into selection for the frame, blur etc. I then used that same image I created from the selection and used the kaleidoscope, silly me didn’t keep the settings, as it took countless random clicks to find the background paper I used, which I liked. I could go to the history I suppose. Carole’s corner punches, and a little word art. Caroles, fancy lace font edge.
November 7, 2020 at 5:47 pm #48779These are the backgrounds I made from the Beautful Mess Masterclass. I used the second one to make the rest with all kinds of effects and the Brush Varience Palette.
November 7, 2020 at 5:51 pm #48780I posted this and see now that I meant to say that I used background 1 to make the other two purples. The yello and brown also came from the same starting composition.
November 8, 2020 at 2:32 am #48805Awesome Corrie. Great job on the class.
November 8, 2020 at 2:33 am #48809Beautiful cards Sue. Love the picture of the thistle.
November 8, 2020 at 9:17 am #48820@ Sue, Karon and Corrie, absolutely fantastic creations with the frames, effects, lab modules and the realisation of the master class!
@ Sue, I have a good taste, I love spiders :-)!November 8, 2020 at 9:24 am #48822Karon, thank you ever do much for your kind, complimentary, positive words on my pages. You diligently read every post and comment.
Liberia, thank you so much. You certainly do have good taste!
November 8, 2020 at 12:24 pm #48828Liberia…We all seem to have good taste. There is a spider on nearly every page I make. Some easy to detect; others a little harder. It started when my granddaughter was about a year old. We would play find the spider. She is now 21 and whenever she or her mother get a scrapbook from me, the 1st thing she does is go looking for the spiders. 😉
November 8, 2020 at 12:24 pm #48829We needed some diversion from the election and now that it’s mostly over and we can breathe a sigh of relief, somewhat, I decided to take Carole’s Alphabet theme turn it into a layout. We’ve been doing a lot of this. ;-D
November 8, 2020 at 12:26 pm #48830Sue…Thank you for the lovely words of encouragement.
November 8, 2020 at 2:56 pm #48843Still revising my Drinks layout..I took inspiration from Lynda and embellished my drinks shapes and added a can of my Folgers coffee to match the bottle of my 14 Hands wine. LOL.. these drinks are very personal for me.
I’m also sad as I just learned that Alex Trebek, the host of Jeopardy! has passed away today. My all time fav. :'(
Oh, sorry, I forgot to scale the picture of Alex Trebek.
November 8, 2020 at 3:47 pm #48847Ann,
Alex Trebeck was one of a kind. Listened to his last interview and he had a great outlook. He’ll be missed.Love your fighting wine glass and coffee cup and the rest of the layout. So cute!
Lynda
November 8, 2020 at 4:08 pm #48853Karon, I just saw your Crow and Cackle but couldn’t read it off your layout, so I copied it off the internet:
“The Dear Hunter:
“Crow And Cackle”The Crow and Cackle of persistent innocence.
Elated in argument.
I’m empty and wondering
if you’re only saying what I wanted you to say.Cause you’re only saying
what I wanted to say.So I’ll just wait until our time
Slips through the cracks
fall to the ground
shattering. I’ll just keep
waiting for something to improve.
Something to move ahead.Cause I’m only saying
what you wanted me to say.The slow and steady sound of silence
hunts us down.
I’m empty and wondering
what you sent me, what you’re offering.”Your layout is really nice and the lyrics are also.
Lynda: Yes, I just read his book “And the Answer is… ” That photo is from the cover of the book. In it he confesses that he was happy to don a hairpiece when he did chemo because he was losing his hair anyway. He said..”wish I did this sooner!” <3
November 8, 2020 at 11:16 pm #48902Lynda…Love your Bottoms Up layout and after this next week I may have to take your advice.
Ann Seeber...Alex Trebek was such an icon. He will be missed. Great Drinks layout. I definitely need your quote, LOL. And agree with Lynda on your fighting wine glass and coffee mug. Thank you for the compliment on my layout. I just used the lyrics mainly as part of the background and that was the name of the drive up.
November 9, 2020 at 8:52 am #48915Using colours from the photo, I was pleased with the outcome, as I love earth tone colours. Created a simple frame, word art, with a little splash of autumnal colour. For the border on the right, I selected a portion of the frame with the selection tool, promoted to a new layer. It’s going to be a busy day moving snow with the tractor, as we had quite the blizzard yesterday. In case we need to get out. The roads are closed, and I’ve heard that it’s going to take 72 hrs to clear the streets of the city of Saskatoon.
November 9, 2020 at 12:37 pm #48924One more for drinks…I take a lot of photos in bars…don’t know why. In fact I don’t know why I even spend enough time in bars to take pictures..go figure! 😀
