April Dawn,
Congrats on 50 years and you did a spectacular job on your layout.

November 10, 2022 at 12:14 pm #86075I finally found the time to go over the Master Class Blending. Nice techniques.
These are photos of my Mom (age 18) and my granddaughter(also age 18). Then photos of the seasons around my house. The birds are photos from my front window. The birds are fattening up for the winter. Poppy field and girl are from the internet. Same girl that Carole used in the presentation.
November 10, 2022 at 6:41 pm #86093Beautiful, Lynda. Your mom was a beautiful woman and you are too!
This lo is Lab 10 Mod 7. Requirements: layered text or object (I chose object and fixed the theater masks to be layered); make a negative tag with a saying (Who Dun It?); and make a clapperboard – done. All are my papers and elements. The theater masks were created from and changed for my purposes from a freebie from PS – Marissa Lerin. Forgot what the font I used was. My title just popped into my head and I knew it came from somewhere. Turns out that it is a quote from a soliliqy from a play by Shakespeare (I think it’s Macbeth) and also was a title of a play by P. G. Wodehouse.
November 10, 2022 at 8:09 pm #86096Thanks Mary,
I agree, my mom was a beautiful woman, inside and out. My father was attracted to the girl with the great gams. 😀
My granddaughter is no slouch either. She is growing into a beautiful woman and she is a sweetheart besides.
I like your play layout very much. I really have to get after those labs too.

November 11, 2022 at 4:20 pm #86227Introducing the new denizens of my aquarium. Only the Nerite snail has been long-term; the Betta and Cardinia shrimps are new. I used Banana Pancakes font this time.
November 11, 2022 at 4:35 pm #86230Very good work!
November 12, 2022 at 10:19 am #86258Nice Ann.. is this your fish? Do you have to keep him away from the others?

November 12, 2022 at 12:44 pm #86271Lynda, no he’s in the same 5 gallon tank with the two shrimps and one snail. Other fish might be a problem but I’ve been talking to other Betta owners who keep them with tankmates and mostly, it works. Sometimes the Betta is too aggressive but, so far, Cherokee hasn’t bothered them. Of course, they are hiding anyway! 😀 Since I have lots of plants in the tank it works out. The shrimps are two males so no babies will show up; they would definitely be eaten!
November 12, 2022 at 2:41 pm #86281Kasany, that’s really cool.
I’m inspired by everyones work throughout the forums. It’s my busy time at work so I’m being a lurker for now.
November 12, 2022 at 4:41 pm #86297My granddaughter, Ilana & husband, Maverick, have announced a second pregnancy – she’s due June 26, 2023. I used a template for this from ps_rachel-martin_287867_kamala-templates-template-01. The Alpha is from the In the Moonlight mega kit.
November 12, 2022 at 5:57 pm #86308hello Lynda.. Thanks so much for your kind comment in your post #86069. Your blending pages look great especially the ones of your Mother and granddaughter.
I have not been here for a while but it has been a pleasure to view everyone’s creative projects.
best wishes to everyone,
Dawn.
November 13, 2022 at 7:58 am #86318Thanks for the information on the fighting fish. It really is fascinating. Maybe that will be my next pet.
On the family side. Very exciting news about the new addition to the family. Lots more picture taking opportunities in your near future. Looking forward to seeing your layouts with the new one.

November 13, 2022 at 8:06 am #86320Ann,
I love your blending honeymoon layout. Very creative and I’m sure your granddaughter will want to put it on her wall. Just a suggestion for Christmas.

November 13, 2022 at 9:14 am #86323November 13, 2022 at 11:54 am #86325Lynda: I’m in a Betta group on Facebook. It would be a good place to start to see if that’s what you’re looking for. I’m looking forward to my 4th great-grand! Ilana says she prefers the blended wedding photo with the flowers.
November 13, 2022 at 2:21 pm #86335I didn’t win the LinePaint script but it was to intriguing to pass up so I bought it. It has a number of choices and on this photo I used duotone. It’s pretty cool. Lines don’t really show as well in this small version.

November 13, 2022 at 9:30 pm #86392Lots of wonderful stuff, Lynda, Ann, April, Kasany.
This is the next in my Chattanooga trip. All papers, elements are my own. Title font is Broadway, inner beveled, and the journaling is Arial.November 15, 2022 at 3:28 am #86492A couple of Birthday cards, one for my sons partner and one for my grand daughter. The elements are all from my stash collection. I have been doing 5×5 inch folded cards while I have the appropriate size envelopes.
November 15, 2022 at 5:57 am #86515As usual, I am loving everyone’s projects.
I had enough time to get “scrapbooky” the other day for my Divas. I used various items from Janet Kemp’s Independence Day mini kit from Pixel Scrapper. (I don’t think I’ll ever get used to their new name, Digital Scrapbooking.) The font is Gunmetal, free from “I got it so long ago that I don’t remember” lol.
November 15, 2022 at 6:10 am #86518I didn’t have much time today so I adapted something I originally made for AprilDawn to use as a birthday card. I used a free cluster from DSS (Digital Scrabooking Studio). Clusters can be so useful, especially when short on time. The background paper is my own creation. The font is Walnut Moth, free from FontBundles.
November 16, 2022 at 10:44 am #86640Another layout I finished and forgot. Left it as a PSP image. Now I have flattened and resized. International Wordart Studio template. Her templates are PNG but she includes each element as a PNG also.
November 19, 2022 at 4:25 pm #87009This is my Sister’s puppy in my Husbands hands about 9 years ago. I have always liked this pic and finally did something with it.
November 22, 2022 at 4:30 pm #87215Ann,
Thanks for the fighting fish link. I get the idea in my head to start an aquarium and then remember the RV travel we do. I don’t think we would be able to carry an aquarium around and there is no one to take care of them while we are gone. I guess I’ll have to wait until we quit traveling.
November 22, 2022 at 4:47 pm #87217Michele I like your cards, so elegant! And isn’t it nice to have them as PSP-images that you can adept for different occassins or persons! I think I have to make a list now of which card a have send to which person.
November 22, 2022 at 5:31 pm #87228For a certain time, I didn’t do anything to PSP. Just started last week. We had to make a Banner with a matching Avatar. The banner is 650×250 px, the avatar is 150×150 px. Strange the avatar looks bigger.

November 22, 2022 at 7:05 pm #87238I tried using the elements and background papers from Digital Scrapbook.com’s Bundle “342198”. In the pictures, Musse and Riio are posing after a tiring run

November 23, 2022 at 7:50 am #87322Thanks so much, Corrie. It can be a little difficult to keep track so hopefully, I’ve entered enough info in the Image Information Details tab so I don’t send the same card to the same person. 😀
November 25, 2022 at 3:45 pm #87447Playing around with lace and decorative borders. Distortion effects, Polar Coordinates.
November 25, 2022 at 4:25 pm #87448Wow! Sue! i just bought Lace Edge 1, 2 and 3. I hope I can do justice to them like you do. No more fun for me today, just got called to work at the last minute, the scramble is on.
