Corrie, your album is going to be stunning.  I’m enjoying being a arm-chair traveller through your eyes and beautiful pages.  I love the masks too.  I can see using them a lot.

Working with one of the extra quick pages and I’ve created a birthday card for Magic who will be two on June 4. I played with the Art Media using the Pastels as the QP had colorful splotches to start with. I had fun with this!

Neat, Ann!  They grow so quick!

I’m finally on the last QP.  This is QP 7.  The Title Script is MaturaMT Script Capitals.

Susan and Mary thank you and both of you did lovely pages for the QP Workshop. I did that one already 2 times, so I’m not all too sorry for not following that one again. Instead I concentrate on my album. Here is the next page for Bainbridge Island in the Puget Sound and very much in the rain!!! I used Google Maps to make a screenhot of the area and painted the route we took. Again a mask with a photo of the beach in the fog and rain. Later that day the weather improved some what but never the less it was a fine day with lots to see.

Yay! Finished Quick Page Workshop!  This is the extra for 7.  The pictures were taken during our 2012 family reunion in Bessemer, Michigan.  I’m sorry, I don’t remember the name of the font.

I started off with the intention of using  Mrs Swallow in the Bingo challenge, I created the admission ticket, ticked  it of the list, only to go down a completely different path. This is the result.

And here are the last 2 intro pages for my album! Again templates with masks and backgrounds made of different papers with a blendmode. With the blendmode I always just try and see which one I like with a particular project and color.

Now I can make my album with most of the photos and have it printed. I’m very sure that in the weeks/months to come I will use a lot of those photos in different challenges/workshops here in the Campus. So you will get to see a lot more, there are even flowers!!!!

What a cool script I just bought (On Sale too!) Word Frame 5.  I can see so many applications for this script from layouts to cards or a front page to an album or calendar.  Check out the thread “New Script – Word Frame 5” to see more beautiful samples.

Corrie, it looks like you had really nice weather for your trip.

Sue, I love that layout.  I love swallows, (especially barn swallows).

Susan, thank you.  I  have 2 pairs of Barn Swallows  nesting in the  stable,  and another pair nesting above the door of the tack room.

I had a little more time than usual for my gaming group’s daily pic today. Used Cass’s curved photo script and her punched confetti script. I was debating on whether to use the confetti or not, but I felt the background needed a little something. First time I’ve felt creative in a while.

I’ve been checking in here regularly and I’m really enjoying everything you guys are posting.  <3

Susan, Your frame and Filter Forge creation is wonderful. Old things are perfect for Filter Forge.

Michele, Fabulous Dives is fabulous. Thanks for the Neon font link.

I have no doubt at all in my mind, that Carole’s word frame script 5 would have created what I did in a fraction of the time it took me.  Saying that it didn’t take me  long. 🙂     I used the  rectangle vector tool,  and the pen tool, duplicated, mirrored vertical. Added the text.   Using the  rectangle tool, you have the option to  change the  corner design, which is a function I like.

Just got back from my granddaughters high school graduation in Texas. Long ride from Illinois and back. My youngest grandson took control of my camera so not much in the way for picture taking for me.

I did enter two more photos in the Corel Discover Animal Photo and Art Contest. Hope you take a look and give me an upvote.

Is there anyone else that entered? Love to have the link.

                                  These are my five entries:

                                  Goats

                                  Reflection

Thank  you Ann.  Yes, the butterflies at the bottom are a font.  There are two extras included in the font.  Which you will have to  access via character map or it’s equivalent.  The font is called My Butterfly, unfortunately I can’t remember where I got it from, as I have had it a  long time.  You would have seen them used in many of my previous pages over the years. The one  merged with  frame is also a font.  Rather than  keep referring to the  fonts themselves.  I have  pages of PSP files of bees, butterflies and other font  categories,  making choosing easier, and quicker access. If I need to use the font itself,   by selecting the  vector it will tell me the name of the font, on the top toolbar. It saves a lot time searching for the font I want.

5 papers (two in strips and one in the letter)
                                                        5 casualties
5 shots of a film strip

                                                            Thanks Sue,

I got all of your entries and they are all fantastic. Your macros are incredible.

It’s been awhile since I’ve used my camera that I can change lenses. I think I am going to enroll at our local college and get a refresher course in the camera capabilities. I have been using my Nikon Coolpix P900 because my picture taking opportunities have not been good lately and this camera takes pretty good on the fly photos and photos from the car. Plus, the lens is 24-2000mm which is great for taking pictures of the moon or anything else that is far away.

Anyway, thanks for the upvotes and good luck with the contest

Lynda and Sue, HOLY WOWZERS!  Love your Corel contest photo’s.  Super inspiring and Sue, a close up glimpse of insects that we rarely get to see, let alone spend time really looking at for a longer period of time.

I’m really enjoying everyone’s posts too.  I’m busy getting ready for company (which I havent had for well over 2 yrs ?), a dear friend in town to set up her art exhibition.  I cant wait to get back to some PSP time.
