Thanks Cristina. I have to admit I am having a lot of fun coming up with ideas … sometimes I “steal” ideas from others … but only because I admire them so much, lol! Great place to learn.
June 13, 2018 at 6:26 pm #19392DeLoris well done my friend. Beautiful work and terrific photos.
June 13, 2018 at 7:21 pm #19393Thank you so much Annie! We had a blast at the zoo.
Hugs,
DeLoris
June 14, 2018 at 2:09 am #19395Hello Cristina….thank you for your kind message in your earlier post. I appreciate it very much…. I am posting this comment from my Husband’s computer as I have been having technical difficulties in posting in the forum from my computer for a while now and I haven’t been able to fix it… I can log into the campus etc, but cannot type anything in the forum area as the text is not visible.. so I am waiting for our friend who is a computer technician to come home from holidays so he can hopefully sort the problem out for me…. hopefully all will get back to normal soon for me…. just thought I would come and let you know why I haven’t been participating…
best wishes,
Dawn.
June 14, 2018 at 3:41 am #19396Annie, you don’t “steal”… I’ve learned this is called scraplifting… And I do this too 😀
Take a look at this post from Cassel.

Dawn, I am so happy to hear from you. I remember you had the same problem not long ago. Computers sometimes do things that are inexplicable. I do hope that the technician can solve the problem soon. We are waiting for you.
Best wishes. 🙂
June 14, 2018 at 5:49 am #19399You are a sweetheart Cristina and I have gone through another learning curve, thank you so much. It’s so nice to know that I am not a thief … even though it would appear from ancestry I do have convict roots … go figure! LOL!
June 14, 2018 at 5:51 am #19401Hello Members. This is my combination result from Lab 6 – Module 2. Thanks for takin a peek.

Annie, another beautiful project!
June 15, 2018 at 8:52 am #19412Thought I would have a little fun with my gaming group today using a cute pic I found on google. Floral frame from Hungry JPEG, decorative elements from PixelScrapper, and the font is Heavenfield.

June 16, 2018 at 7:58 am #19422Thanks Cristina … always appreciated my friend. :)))
June 16, 2018 at 8:01 am #19424Completed this one tonight, combining the lessons in Lab 6 – Module 3. I wouldn’t mind staying in this lodge … just a week or two, 🙂 Thanks for takin a peek.
June 16, 2018 at 7:03 pm #19426Thanks AprilDawn, your kind words are very much appreciated. 🙂
June 17, 2018 at 4:57 am #19428Hi Annie 🙂 These lessons from the Lab are great, and this project is so nice. I checked online and saw that the lodges, besides this beautiful scenery, also have an amazing sea view… So, I will accept your invitation, my friend! 😀 LOL
June 17, 2018 at 7:12 am #19431LOL! You would be most welcome anytime dear Cristina. It is nice to dream isn’t it. I can just imagine relaxing there for a couple of weeks, lol!
June 17, 2018 at 7:15 am #19433Just finished this one for Lab 6 – Module 4. It’s okay but I usually prefer a much simpler layout. I used a template by Gredheadedladybug Scraps. Another learning curve, 🙂
June 17, 2018 at 9:30 am #19438Annie… “I would be most welcome”…”It is nice to dream of“… So you are withdrawing the invitation? 🙁 :'( … And I was already packing! LOL LOL
Usually, I prefer a simpler layout, but IMHO I find this one very good because the background has a subtle color and the details are colorful and blend well together. Well done! I like to work sometimes with templates because I do things outside my comfort zone.
June 17, 2018 at 6:30 pm #19465Thanks dear Cristina. Now that I have shown my true colours let me say in my defence that I had the best of intentions but I haven’t got there myself yet, LOL! Very pleased that you liked the silhouette scrap. Amazing how the background can help to tone things down. 🙂 Annie.
June 18, 2018 at 6:07 am #19473Completed this today as a combined result for Lab 6 – Module 5. Went a slightly different track than the comic book direction. Lil’ Morticia seems so cute and definitely taking her role seriously, 🙂 Hugs……Annie T
June 19, 2018 at 4:18 am #19478Annie, what a cute Lil’ Morticia! I guess she loved to dress up. Lovely layout!
June 19, 2018 at 5:36 am #19480Thanks Cristina. I don’t usually work with blue but it just seemed to fit with this one … I was determined to use the picture once I stumbled across it, lol!
June 21, 2018 at 2:33 am #19502Not the best thing anyone has ever done, but I forgot about my friend’s bday and had to do this quickly. It’s the first time I’ve tried anything like this. I added texture to the dark purple layer. Then using what I learned in Lab 5-11, I scalloped the edges and then did the cutouts with the eraser tool using the same technique of using a guide. The embellishments are from the font that I used, Paladise Script and Paladise Bonus. My original idea was to do something like Cassel’s card and envelope sample, but I couldn’t figure out how to “grunge up” the paper. I used it for inspiration in a different way.
