Mary a lovely layout for that Lab, I admire you (and the others) that do all the Labs! I don’t have the time for it but I do pick elements that I like and save them for later use. I did make the tied string on a tag and have used it on some other layouts.
Michele nice to see some new Fab Divas and I especially like the Country Charm!
June 23, 2022 at 12:05 am #78329Corrie – Thanks. I guess I’m really just enjoying the labs as it keeps my mind active. I’m retired and do a little work for my Church and visit my kids (and their kids when I get a chance). Enjoyed your trip to the states a short while ago and you sharing some of it with us in your layouts. You do a great job with PSP and I enjoy seeing your work.
June 23, 2022 at 5:14 am #78335Thanks so much, Mary. Arial Rounded MT Bold is one of my favorite fonts, too. In fact, I used it for today’s theme.
June 23, 2022 at 5:16 am #78336I’m sorry if I haven’t been commenting on everyone’s projects. They are all so wonderful and I don’t want to bombard this thread. Just know that I love everything I see.
June 24, 2022 at 2:19 pm #78407Carole helped me get this hanging photos script working. I set the layout up for four photos and then, today, I acquired a fifth one for this collection. I’m a little surprised that quite a few waterfowl pass by my condo in the mornings when I’m out filling my feeders and recording any birdsong (or quack/honk) with my Merlin app. It wasn’t that hard to edit the initial layout. The background photo is from Pixabay.
June 25, 2022 at 10:58 am #78415Lovely, Ann.
June 26, 2022 at 9:06 am #78424This is for the Scraplift Challenge. Another array of Merlin’s birds. I used the Out of Bounds and the Selective Color techniques suggested for the challenge. The font is Belisha.
Edit: I made quite a few tweaks. I’ll leave the first one also so you can compare.

June 26, 2022 at 1:02 pm #78426Not doing any challenges, haven’t had much time for projects. But I did “create” a mask using brushes! And it works! Not a big deal to others likely, but really big deal to me since I always struggle with downloaded masks and getting them to fit and work properly.
In fact, many of the things I download (free) like brushes or scripts are sometimes problematic. For example, this set of six free brushes (Brusheezy or Deviant Art, can’t recall), won’t appear in my brush list, but they are in the folder for brushes, in PSP format, in Corel PSP 2022. This shot shows the folder they originally appeared in after download. They should work, right?
June 26, 2022 at 1:21 pm #78427Julie, did you convert the files in PSP? PSP does not “see” abr files (those are photoshop brushes) unless you convert them to the pspbrush format. Carole has a blog post on how to do this, look for the blog post from March 2019, Adding Brushes to Paint Shop Pro.
June 26, 2022 at 3:46 pm #78428Thank you Rene! I do recall that I read that post a while back…and forgot! Thanks for the kick in the memory!
June 27, 2022 at 5:21 am #78445I finally used the Paper Cutout script to create the “people” at the bottom of the page.
June 28, 2022 at 2:25 am #78457hello everyone, I have not been here for a very long time now, but over the last few weeks have been looking over all the projects you all have been creating and I just want to say that I have enjoyed the viewing very much. Well done to all.
best wishes,
Dawn.
June 28, 2022 at 6:02 am #78487Oh, Dawn, it’s so good to see you here. I haven’t heard from you in quite a while and I was worried. <3
June 28, 2022 at 6:22 am #78488Wow, Dawn, like Michele, I am so happy to see you here! It has been really a long time, but we never forgot you. Hope everything is fine with you, and hopefully, you’ll share some of your lovely cards and work again.
Best wishes, my friend! <3
June 28, 2022 at 8:03 am #78486July 1st – CANADA DAY! Hi, these images are to draw attention to Canada on my website.
The collages fade from one to the other on the home page at Home (one-name.net), where it will sit for a few days and then more permanently on the Canada page at Canada (one-name.net).
The images were created using a good many Creation Cassel scripts, so much so you may find it interesting to play ‘Spot the Script’. This set is dedicated to Carole as a thank-you for her great creations.

June 28, 2022 at 8:56 am #78495Dawn, I feel the same as Cristina and Michele, it’s great to hear from you. I do hope all is well with you and your family, and look forward to seeing you post some of your wonderful creative work again.
June 28, 2022 at 12:12 pm #78497Big wave to Dawn!!! Welcome back.
Brian, LOL with the “Spot the script“. Your use of those scripts is always so different than I would even imagine. EVERY project you show, makes me smile more and more. You pack so much in such “small” images! I LOVE that!
June 28, 2022 at 7:15 pm #78510Beautiful work and the web page is great
June 28, 2022 at 9:18 pm #78515hello Cristina, Michele and Sue, Thank you for your kind greetings . yes it has been a long time since i have participated here in the campus forum. More health issues have kept me away and also my creativity stopped for a long time … however over the last few weeks I have started to make cards again so hopefully my creativity will stay recharged.
Greetings to you Carole… thank you for your welcome back wave and thanks again for your helpful suggestions in my endeavors to create a stencil effect background. I continue to play with the idea and I am happy with the results achieved.
Best wishes to everyone,
Dawn.
June 29, 2022 at 5:06 am #78524Can’t wait to see your cards again, Dawn. <3
June 29, 2022 at 6:48 pm #78528On Facebook Sue Thomas pointed me to the Block Shape tutorial and I gave it a try. This is not related to a project, I just played around seeing what I could do using different colors, texture and gradient on some letters. With hindsight I could have tried some glitter as well. Those blockshapes are very easy to make, maybe I’ll use this technique for a title someday.
June 29, 2022 at 9:04 pm #78530I saw a cartoon that sparked the idea. Rudy is a patient model.
June 30, 2022 at 12:10 am #78532My last quick page for June 2022, as I’m off tomorrow until Sunday night.
Excellent block letters Corrie. The variations of colours, patterns, textures, and more are endless. They can be used in a variety of projects. As you said, they are dead easy to create. I used the same technique to create the letters, with a twist, I like the cut out effect. If you can’t work out how to create that effect, you’ll have to wait until I come back, when I will give instructions in point form.
June 30, 2022 at 5:38 am #78537Brian, I’m admiring your website work. I think my favorite is the Symbols page, followed closely by the Postcards. Here’s an example of what I do every week for our little business, the Warwick Drive-In Theater.
June 30, 2022 at 6:15 am #78539Just a little something to show any newbies that you don’t need anything too complicated to present a page. Pretty much every element on it was done like this: Use the magic wand to select the area outside of the element. Then selection: invert; selection: modify: select selection borders and flood fill the border. I did this several times on each and added drop shadows. Looks harder than it is.
The font is BOOWIE.
June 30, 2022 at 7:00 am #78540Michele, your silver elegance is lovely and the silver really shines.. did you create the silver texture?
Sue, love the way you did your busy word on your project… a great idea
Corrie, a nice example of the block letters… enjoy playing with the technique.
Gerry, what a fun photo… Rudy looks great
Brian, you do great work using all the scripts.
Ann, having a Drive-In Theater must keep you very busy… your project is a nice example of the movies on show.
best wishes everyone,
Dawn.
June 30, 2022 at 9:12 am #78544Thanks so much, Dawn. I didn’t create the silver texture from scratch. I used a combination of glitter and some silver background papers I had.
June 30, 2022 at 11:48 am #78549Ann – The Drive-In site works well with the product doing the ‘talking’ and nice spacing around them. I like the slideshow that allows viewers to choose the picture.
Dawn – The silver is such a great look and I am going to try it when I can think of something genealogy orientated… I must be able to find a 25th anniversary somewhere to highlight that way.
June 30, 2022 at 3:42 pm #78551Dawn thank you and it is good to see you here again. I hope we get to see some of your wonderful work in the near future.
June 30, 2022 at 5:14 pm #78552hello Brian, i noticed your comment above but it was not me who created the Silver elegance it was Michele. the silver is quite a stunning effect isn’t it … i hope you find something for your 25th anniversary and congratulations if it is yours. once again you are very creative with using Carole’s scripts i have looked at the other ones you have posted.
best wishes
Dawn.
