It is a new month and new projects.
Show off what you are working on in December, be it a scrapbook page, a tutorial, or anything else you want.
We are curious and want to see, learn and get inspired.
These threads are quickly becoming a fantastic source of inspiration, support, and friendship. Keep them coming!
December 2, 2019 at 1:40 am #36290Hi Campus Friends. This is a Christmas Card which was very simply put together. I did create the tree … not the decorations … and the star tubes. The snowflakes, candles and tree decorations are tubes I have had for a long time. Thanks for takin a peek!
December 2, 2019 at 9:11 am #36292It’s fantastic, Annie.
December 2, 2019 at 4:14 pm #36298Lovely Christmas card Annie.. you did a great job on the tree you created.
Dawn.
December 2, 2019 at 6:36 pm #36301Thanks dear Michele and Dawn, very much appreciated my friends. <3
December 3, 2019 at 7:54 pm #36305Annie, are you drawing with a mouse or a tablet? I could never draw a tree like that with a mouse!
December 3, 2019 at 8:19 pm #36306LOL! With a mouse Cassel but I always have an image open as well to guide me and I think the inner bevel plus the smooth command cover a lot of blemishes! I bought an ergonomic mouse for my arthritic hand which has made a lot of difference as well. ;D
December 5, 2019 at 5:45 am #36321If anyone wants to know how well Carole’s Mitered Corner Frame script works, here’s an example. It’s such a time saver. I started out with this little piece, added more to it, then ran the script. (The pic is for my gaming group.)
Also, I just found out you can click and drag a file onto the Upload Images button.
December 5, 2019 at 6:15 am #36322Fabulous page Michele, I love it … very flapperish! The mitered corners are beautifully executed. <3
December 5, 2019 at 6:17 am #36324No photos in this one but I was inspired by one of the sample layouts for this month’s Santa theme so I decided to make some very simple Christmas stamps. I have had these lovely tubes for a long time. The Christmas tree was created using Cassel’s Ribbon Tag Tree script and I used the lovely freebie alpha for the title. Papers are my own creation. Thanks for takin a peek!
December 5, 2019 at 7:19 am #36325Michele your page looks great!.. i have the script also and you are right it is a time saver and has given a terrific result for the background frame effect on your page.. love what you have created.
Annie your Christmas page is delightful!… i love how you created the stamps.
best wishes are sent to you both.
Dawn.

December 6, 2019 at 10:24 pm #36355December 7, 2019 at 9:13 am #36360The bauble is blurred from resizing. Is there a way to stop the distortion when you size down.
The stand is blurred from resizing up to much xDecember 7, 2019 at 11:41 am #36361I love what you’ve done, Trish. The colors are wonderful. It’s great to see holiday-themed pics that aren’t always red and green.
December 7, 2019 at 1:42 pm #36365Thank you Michele, they match my decs this year, turquoise, purple and green. I’ll leave the red to the poinsettia’s, whoops, mine is a pink one. xx
December 7, 2019 at 9:44 pm #36372Thanks dear Trish and I must say that your card is gorgeous and your snow globe is really cute, well done my friend. <3
December 7, 2019 at 10:48 pm #36378Thank you Annie, are you anywhere near those fires over there x
December 9, 2019 at 1:29 am #36412Hi Trish. One of our beach areas, Woodgate, has been evacuated a couple of times in the past two weeks and the fire is now downgraded to a controlled fire. It will all depend on the heat and wind conditions which are both expected to pick up towards the end of this week! My sympathy goes to those who suffer from asthma or any serious lung conditions as they are really being hammered. There is no sign of rain so the fire fighters just have to struggle as best they can. 🙁
December 9, 2019 at 1:33 am #36414Hi Scrapbook Campers. I have been following some of Cassel’s tutorials on making plaid patterns. I ended up doing each tutorial and then created some bows using the Christmas Poinsettia Bow by Joann’s Digital Designs. These are the results. Thanks for takin a peek!
December 9, 2019 at 11:39 am #36416Those bows are beautiful, Annie. The holly in the middle is perfect! Please stay safe and healthy, my friend.
December 9, 2019 at 11:48 am #36418Today’s pic for my gaming group, Fabulous Divas (I didn’t name it LOL). The original drawing is by Hayden Williams, one of my favorite illustrators. I used a mask from Rachel Designs, the Christmas Wish monoline font, and topped it all off with a holly frame made by a friend of mine. I couldn’t decide on a red or green background until I added the frame.
December 9, 2019 at 5:37 pm #36423Pleased to hear you are OK and safe Annie, Strange world, you are into Summer and fires, Carole is winter and snow, we in the Uk are mainly Rain and ‘Brexit’ just praying our elections this week will end it all. LOL.
