August 2, 2018 at 8:22 pm #20469Hello everyone!… I made another couple of cards over the last few of days and thought I would post one… I love doing vintage style and I hope this one gives that effect. The torn paper in the background was created with a free mask that I got ages ago with a tutorial… The Fan and Roses as well as the centre bow and ribbon were made with purchased scripts from Joannes Digital Design….. the vintage lady is a freebie at Graphic Fairy…The swirl embossed overlay I made with a brush and Cassel’s Emboss Script and put in Overlay mode to give this effect… I came across this quote by Helen Keller and I liked it so used it on this card… I enjoy making cheer cards to send to friends and family.. this one is going via email.

August 6, 2018 at 11:44 am #20542Last night class on No Scrap Pages was a lot of fun. The weave was very challenging for me, but I got it done! Carole did an outstanding job! I love learning new things!
Here’s the mosaic:

August 6, 2018 at 11:46 am #20546And here’s the weave page (this was the tough one for me). Thank you Carole for the template!!!
August 7, 2018 at 4:39 am #20562DeLoris, great pages… I love the mosaic.
August 7, 2018 at 5:26 am #20569Wow, you are fast, DeLoris. Great job.
August 8, 2018 at 1:30 am #20584Lovely work dear Dawn, gorgeous vintage look to it. I think I am going to enjoy viewing your cards! <3
August 8, 2018 at 1:36 am #20585Oh Wow DeLoris … beautiful work on all 3 projects my friend. I agree that the weave page was the most difficult but like yourself I just kept at it until I felt confident enough to have a go … it is very effective for a scrapbook page. <3
August 10, 2018 at 4:19 pm #20633In another group I’m in the subject came up about past memories. I remembered the time my girls went and picked blackberries and wanted me to make them a cobbler. They just had a handful, so the cobbler was really small, but they loved eating something I made that they gathered. So, I thought I would make a page for my yearly book recalling that memory. It’s sad, I don’t have pictures of that, but they will remember anytime they see this.
I used Farm Fresh Breakfast Collection For Snickerdoodles Designs by Karen to make it.
Hugs,
DeLoris
August 11, 2018 at 6:00 am #20657What a lovely memory, DeLoris, and an equally lovely way to memorialize that day.

August 11, 2018 at 8:14 am #20661From Lab 6 Module 1 with the template that was provided. I’ve been working on it for several days now a few hours at a time. You all know I’m not a scrapbooker, but I think you may be turning me into one. 🙂
I made the middle paper using the Cathedral Window pattern in this module. The other two papers are from Eyeinspire as are the flowers and the button. The ribbon is one of Marisa Lerin’s from PixelScrapper; I just had to change the color. A watercolor brush let me add a splash of pink underneath the other elements. I made the wooden frames as taught in this mod, too.
Thanks for any helpful hints, ladies.

August 11, 2018 at 9:01 am #20665DeLoris, Lovely memory and the layout is soooo cute! Great job!
Michele, this is also a cute layout! I love the colors, the paper you made together with the ones from Eyeinspire… And judging by the layouts you post here and on FB, you are already a scrapbooker!! Great work!
August 11, 2018 at 9:49 pm #20686Michele, a really lovely page and I love your colour theme. that watercolour brush effect and your frames look great.
Annie, Thank you for your comment on my card I do appreciate it.
DeLoris , very nice pages and your Heidi images look great in the weave effect.
best wishes to you all,
Dawn.

August 13, 2018 at 8:17 am #20699We had a big family dinner Saturday and I made this page for my yearly book. I used Snickerdoodle Designs by Karen’s This Is Me August Collection. We had the best day!
Hugs,
DeLoris
August 13, 2018 at 10:08 am #20700DeLoris, this layout is so nice!
August 13, 2018 at 11:00 am #20702This is the layout I have been working for a long while… I started it a long time ago, then stopped, and when I decided to finish it, I didn’t like what I had made… So I started all over again, added a few more photos, practice more tutorials etc. To get out of my comfort zone, I used a black background (SheilaReid_Spookalicious_paper_blackwood) and patterned papers (Harperfinch_hfinch_november2remember). I also used “CreativeMarket-LABF Creations-Watercolor Floral”
These photos are part from a Forest Educational Trail and part from a waterfall we went to last year. As a base, I started with Scrapping with Liz “Photo Mat Full Template”…My goal when doing the layouts is most of the time to practice techniques, tutorials…. and this time was no different. So…
Cassel’s tutorials: Flair Button, Licence Plate, Admission Ticket and Button (2)… I also used the Perspective Correction.
Finally finished! I can move on 🙂
August 13, 2018 at 2:23 pm #20704Great layouts DeLoris and Christina. A lot of work has gone into these.

August 14, 2018 at 7:20 am #20712DeLoris, I love how you have your text. It goes perfectly with the subtle background. Overall, it’s a very pretty page.
Cristina, a lot of work and love that went into your page. I’m glad you’re finally happy with it.

August 14, 2018 at 7:29 am #20714Dawn, thank you! <3 … Although it took me a long time to finish this layout (doing and redoing), in the end, it was fun and I learned a lot.
August 14, 2018 at 7:44 am #20716Michele, thank you! <3 … At some point, I had to say enough and move on… LOL
August 17, 2018 at 1:38 pm #20738This is another layout I started a long time ago and only now had the inspiration to finish it but with different photos, papers etc…
I used Cassel’s template from the 2016 Calendar Challenge Day11.
I used Cassel’s Rope Picture Tube to frame the photos… Papers: Harper Finch (in the woods); Palvinka (We love summer) and Public Scrap (Escale Estivale)…The circular frame with stickers elements was made inspired by Cassel’s Quick Page Day11 also from this Challenge. All the elements are from DiHiller (2018 Jun Pixel Scrapper Blog Train “Oh, the places you’ll go and “June Bits and Pieces”.
