A brand new workshop will soon start. Are you in?
This time, it is a totally new workshop, that was recorded just this week. It will start on March 21st.
This workshop is FREE for everyone, so spread the word.
This workshop is meant for beginners and advanced users alike. Beginners will find a simple way to get started to create their scrapbook projects. Advanced users will find that templates can spark your inspiration and help you complete projects on a deadline.
Did you find this thread before the registration page? Here it is.
March 13, 2022 at 3:29 am #73516Cool! I’m in!
March 13, 2022 at 8:54 am #73518Hi!
I’m so glad I’m in. I
I liked the masks-workshop so much and learned a lot (with some of it I’m struggeling – it needs time). I enjoyed it so much.
I’m looking forward to what’a coming next.
March 13, 2022 at 11:14 am #73520Well, I’m in too! Glad to see you Susan and Christiane. Have enjoyed seeing your work. Hi, Carole – as you know I still struggle with some of the tools. Also, sometimes my mind is just a blank and I can’t think of how to put some of the things we learn into a new layout and develop it from scratch! Sounds like this is what I need.
March 13, 2022 at 11:39 am #73521I have registered. Although I rarely use templates, I tend to view them for ideas. They are great for making a page if time isn’t on my side. Even then I will change it to suit my needs. There are several masterclasses on using, creating, and manipulating templates.
March 13, 2022 at 3:28 pm #73548I am in and looking forward to it.
March 13, 2022 at 3:29 pm #73549I am in too ?
March 13, 2022 at 3:38 pm #73550Woo hoo…I’m in! Thank you, Carole!

I’m coming 🙂
March 13, 2022 at 8:29 pm #73573(#73520). Mary, that’s exactly me. And Ann once told me, she takes all the classes she can because she always learns something new. I also forget which tool to use when and how to use them etc, and like Christiane said – “it needs time”. I cant wait to see how Sue and all the advanced users (meaning: everyone else-from my point of view) transform a template to put their creative styles on it will be inspiring. And of course the cadence of Carole’s wonderful teaching voice and style and all the forum postings.
March 15, 2022 at 1:32 pm #73628I have registered also. I especially liked the recent Masks Workshop which I am still going over. See you soon.
March 16, 2022 at 9:33 am #73648Hey!
I liked the masks-workshop so much.
I’m looking forward to getting started and learning Template Workshop.
March 17, 2022 at 6:15 pm #73672I’ve signed up but since I’m still having computer issues, not sure I’ll be able to actually scrap. But I have been using templates for 14 years so that isn’t new to me. Just want to see if there is something I could be doing to help my scrapping process.
March 17, 2022 at 6:41 pm #73676I’m in xx
March 18, 2022 at 6:05 pm #73696I’m in too, although I use templates if I don’t have any idea what to make, or if I want to make something that’s consistent, but by changing them to make them individual at the same time.
Carole I have a question: approximately how many photos do we need. You probably know I like a theme for the challenges/workshops and knowing how many photos helps me to choose my theme!
March 18, 2022 at 8:10 pm #73699Corrie, I will be using 18 photos, but there are also some extras for DIAMOND members so you can likely use almost 40 photos if you used all the templates.
March 18, 2022 at 10:55 pm #73700Hi I’m looking forward to the Template Workshop. I enjoyed the mask workshop.
March 20, 2022 at 8:57 pm #73747One email pre-workshop was sent today. Make sure you got it. Check your spam too.
Also, if you post in the forum and your post does not show up, send me a message. Sometimes, they are just stuck in the spam filter, and I can pull them out for you (but I have to know!)
March 21, 2022 at 10:40 am #73749I am registered in this workshop and looking forward to it.

March 21, 2022 at 1:31 pm #73759Templates Day 1-Diamond Extra – Snowdrops
March 21, 2022 at 1:54 pm #73761Day 1. I replaced the circles with some birds. (Blend mode) Added extra text on a curve. Colours taken from the photo My kind of template, plain and simple.
March 21, 2022 at 2:14 pm #73763I used the template given and the materials given although I did change the colors of them. Snow is a little hard to come by down here in Florida and not one of my favorite seasons … so I stuck to themes I like, boats and sailing … used the adornments in the kit as well, just added some little hearts. I kept mine colorful exactly as you would see a day on the sea there. That is the Margaret Todd … a four masted sailing off the dock in front of The Bar Harbor Inn, otherwise known as “The Gray Lady”. Gorgeous spot and no matter how often I get there, I can’t wait to go back. 🙂
March 21, 2022 at 2:18 pm #73765Hi, My first template is a bit abstract, using a photo I took of a dandelion seed head. I wanted the shadow to be quite soft so exaggerated it and applied the blend mode ‘Lighten’ which softened it some more.
All the patterns are from Digital Scrapbook. The cream pattern (Dandelion paper by Sheila Reid) I used for the background as well as for the bubbles and adjusted the contrast levels as in the lesson.
The rectangle is a close up of some wool.
Typeface is ‘The Madelin’
March 21, 2022 at 2:48 pm #73766I’ve also registered for this workshop.
Nice to see so many projects posted already!
