November 12, 2015 at 6:44 pm #7777Here’s how I did it.
I made some feathered blended images for the background paper. The images had a border made from the font Ruritania one from Cassels seminars, using a vector shape, text on curve and altering the Kerning as needed to make it fit. The S was done by creating an Alfa from Cassel’s seminar monogramming and tubes added. I used the feathering and brightness contrast technique on it to make it a bit more rounded.
I have enjoyed doing these.

November 12, 2015 at 11:14 pm #7778Here is my attempt at the Reflection Tutorial. I missed a step somewhere on the mask bit, and couldn’t make the gradient work, but I think it turned out well, overall.
The leaf was on the road, extracted by me, and the water was a tiny corner of an old photo. Font is Cardinal.
November 12, 2015 at 11:36 pm #7779In my 1st design, “captured)”I have used the brush variance for the splodge and brush dots as described within the the coffee stain tutorial. Also it was used on a masterclass using the brush variance. I made the narrow gold frames also from a masterclass.
My 2nd design ” Goldy’s Gates” I have framed my pictures using the frame idea from the Basic scrap course 1 and the burnt edges from the bake up course.

great pages too shirley
November 14, 2015 at 8:39 pm #7799Okay, I’m trying this one more time lol. I have done this many times, but can’t seem to get this picture to show up here. Anyway, I made a layout of my grandson wearing his turkey shirt, sitting in my sink trying to figure out how to turn the water on.
I used Creation Cassel’s scripts: wavy borders, plaid background, and chevrons, as well as papers from Memory Lane Creations.
Thanks for looking!
November 15, 2015 at 5:19 am #7814what a great pictures, he is so cute your grandson. Bet he got all wet when he figured out how to put the water on.
November 15, 2015 at 12:11 pm #7818I have been getting an error when I tried to log in and was not able to do so until just now. I hope that does not disqualify me from participating in the contest. :0(
Bummed that I was not able to make the Suggestion Box, but I know I can submit a suggestion any time. (Editing to congratulate Joanne on submitting the winning suggestion!)
1) On the country layout I used Edge #1 Font, and the Circular Element, Waving, Clip to it, and Shadow placer scripts.
2) On the Ballyseede Castle layout I used my new Scattered Photos script and the Word Frame 3 scripts.
3) On the Happy New Year layout I used the Mosaic Maker, Shadow Placer, Word Frame 3 (without words) and the Overlapped scripts.
