Day 5: I was like a 5-year-old left alone with a bottle of glue and lots of glitter–what fun! The 600 pixels don’t show it, but the title’s got glitter, the two swirls, and the flower and leaves are so heavy with glitter they almost look too heavy for the page. The trick of copying and pasting text from somewhere else is so great–I didn’t know I could do that–thanks so much!
March 15, 2019 at 12:17 am #26877Here is my day 5 photo, it’s my granddaughter Bella with her gorgeous little dog Alfie. I used the sample kit Soar and also the gold glitter. I realise that my lack of imagination limits my creations. I’m still loving seeing everyone elses creations.
March 15, 2019 at 2:28 am #26879Day 3. Enjoyed doing this layout. The videos are a huge help. Thank you Cassel!
I used papers from the kit Antique Rose by Alexis
The elements are from the kit Glistening by Aimee Harrison
Now to get started on Day 4.

March 15, 2019 at 1:43 pm #26903My 1st project: New Kid on the Block
March 15, 2019 at 2:10 pm #26905Hi ,
I’m Lynda. I live in Illinois. I’ve been using PaintShop since it was Jasc but, as you know, things change. I have been learning 2019 Ultimate and met Carole on PS pro Maniacs. I’ve had other things to take care of since these tutorials started but I getting up to speed now. Here is my sandwich.
March 15, 2019 at 2:45 pm #26908Day 6. Took these photos of prairie dogs at Caprock Canyon State Park in Texas. The KimB Designs scrapkit I used was the freebie to which Cassel had posted the link. I didn’t change the colors of the individual letters in the title, but instead used a gradient for “Family” and then played with various layer styles.
March 15, 2019 at 4:47 pm #26913Boot Camp Day 3.. That was fun
March 15, 2019 at 4:47 pm #26915To: Cassel: my “pinked” edges look like a pair of dull scissors chewed through paper–help!
March 15, 2019 at 4:53 pm #26916@Barbara, it looks like another setting is taking over in the Brush Variance Palette (that is more advanced).
Click F11 to open the Brush Variance Palette, and click the Reset button near the bottom. It should turn most of the values to 0. Then, the pinking shears should get sharpened!
March 15, 2019 at 6:53 pm #26918Day 6: Another couple of pictures from our trip to Washington with the grandkids. I mostly used elements from that freebie kit that Carole told us about. I did add the bit of glitter from my stash. I used one of the papers for my title and instead of pinking shears, I wanted my edges to look more wave-like. I didn’t know about the easy way to add a frame, so that was new to me. There was something else new, but I’ve forgotten it already so I’ll have to watch the video again!!
March 15, 2019 at 7:36 pm #26920To Cassel: Thanks, I’ll try that. In the meantime, I used the Cass font that has a pinked edge to finish Day 6’s page.
March 15, 2019 at 8:03 pm #26924Day 4 – Adventure….I did not use a kit. All the elements were things I have on my computer. The photo is one I took of Old Tucson on one of our RV Adventures.
March 15, 2019 at 8:39 pm #26925Simple and delightful shutterpixi, a style I love, well done Hon. <3

March 15, 2019 at 10:49 pm #26932Well Day 6 was quite a challenge for me, but I think I eventually got there. Found the pinking shears tool absolutely amazing. I’ve used a mixture of papers here. Really struggle to find papers and other elements that go with my photos. Anyway, here is my Day 6 effort.
March 16, 2019 at 12:07 am #26934Project 4 Day 6. It has been a busy day and a lot of storms with Rain, wind and thunder. Was not sure I would get to finish. Have a good night every one.
March 16, 2019 at 5:20 am #26936My day 4 layout. The kit I used is Lavender Blues by Tracie Stroud.

March 16, 2019 at 11:32 am #26947Still catching up Day 5 Project 3
March 16, 2019 at 1:25 pm #26953Day 7 – I used all sorts of things on this layout. Elements/papers are from two kits: Underwater and Under the Sea. I used a slippery wet candy paper for the title and a soap bubbles paper for the background.
This has been a lot of fun and I just adore all of the creativity shown! Great job all!!
Teri
March 16, 2019 at 3:31 pm #26961Hi All!
Just getting my day 4 out there… Life keeps getting in the way. Hard to believe how creative the group is. I got some great ideas from you, but will try to do some original stuff.
