Here is the next Word challenge for you.

In September the word will be ALMOST. You can showcase a race that is almost finished, a construction or renovation that is almost completed, or a Halloween costume that looks almost like the original.

Are you up to the challenge? Post your projects in this thread (it can be older projects you did or recent ones; it does not matter) or, if you want, our PSP Scrapbook Showcase pinboard on Pinterest is always there to showcase what is being shared in the Campus (if you need an invite, let me know)

I have been such a good girl packing for my holiday that I had a bit of spare time this afternoon and was able to do a quick page for this challenge.

This was the start of a Christmas/New Year tour of Tasmania by four-wheel drive for a group of 30 adults and 11 children. Only 12 of us were there at the time but the story got included in the Travel Log and has become of of those stories that get told whenever we get together.

I used Cassel’s Filmstrip script, cut it into two so the photos were bigger. The font is Vijaya. The background I made from a poor photo of the Spirit of Tasmania taken in 2011, it was very blurry and you could hardly see the ship so I blurred it even more and put the filmstrip over it. It was quite dark so I put a white layer underneath and dropped the opacity right down.

Hi Marlene, nice story and a good way to pass the time while waiting. 🙂

I love the way you used the cass-Filmstrip Script to frame the photos, and the whole layout came out very good!

Although I tried, I could not think of anything for the Theme-Accident and Word-Almost Challenges, so I will pass these two…but I still want to try the Word Art

Hello Marlene, a very nice page and once again great story… memories that will never be forgotten I bet!.  Enjoy your time away.

Like Cristina I can not think of anything for the Theme – Accidents and Word – Almost Challenges, so for now will give them a miss.

            Dawn.

I was looking at some Christmas photos and had an idea for this challenge. The background is a freebie from DiHiller-Let’s get Festive-paper02. From Cassel: ChristmasStringWindow freebie (Wooden Window Script) and HolidayCharms-Elements freebie (PSP Tube) and Screwheads PSP Tube. Alpha is a freebie from Sheila Reid. Merry Christmas is a freebie from Corel – Christmas Clipart minipack.

What a delightful page you created Cristina. I have the  Cassel window frame script.  I haven’t used it for a while. Thank you, you have now prompted me to  make  something Christmasy using the wooden window script.
