Thank you Carole. It did finally come together. Don’t know why I get stuck on this so often!
March 7, 2022 at 2:21 pm #73340#73337 Juli, same with me . I’m not that learning type. I’m the same learning type like you. I’m more try and learn. Theory? It’s difficult for me. So I try and try and sometimes it clicked in my mind and then it’s easy-peasy.
March 7, 2022 at 2:59 pm #73341Julie: Thank you for doing Roy! My late husband’s favorite and he became one of my favorites also. Fabulous voice and you’ve done him proud!

March 7, 2022 at 4:58 pm #73346Julie Magerka – Glad you love the lamb, and thanks.
The extra decorative elements on your Roy Orbison page look fab 🙂
I have loved doing the Masks Workshop but I too struggled with Lesson 7 and referred back to earlier lessons to remember how to create a mask etc. I hope my notes that I jotted down throughout the lessons will help me with creating more etc. When there are more than one action and instruction to do then I tend to forget all what I’ve learnt 🙂 😉

I asked my eldest what that means because I don’t know this phrase.
March 13, 2022 at 12:51 pm #73538So, today I tried Masks workshop – Day 2.
It took a while to understand what Carole means and how the way it works. So I asked Carole for some advice and – thanks to you, Carole – I found a way to get what I wanted.
So, here’s the result.
These are photos from a town called “Bad Wildungen” where I was in rehab a few years ago. They had a beautiful garden there – a really lovely place. So I went there on a bright sunny day and took some photos. It was a really good time there.
March 24, 2022 at 12:02 pm #74027Day 4 Templates Workshop, I chose the idea of changing the world.
March 24, 2022 at 2:04 pm #74036Hank, you might want to post this TEMPLATES work in the Templates Forum here so Carole will see it. This page that you’re on is for Masks, an older workshop. Nice layout!
March 24, 2022 at 3:14 pm #74055I don’t have much time these days because in a few days I will leave for the Netherlands again after having spent the winter on Bonaire since November.
I am working on the templates and have given them my own interpretation.
I copied the circle of day 1 a number of times and put the faces of the guests who were at a birthday party on a boat at sea.
I added an appropriate music track and made a video of the 8 photos.Through this exercise I learned how to use the Magic Wand well.Unfortunately I can only post the frames but if you want to see the movie, send me a message, the movie is 874kB
April 24, 2022 at 12:33 am #75821So, after a short holiday in Paris I tried and finished Mask Workshop Day 3.
I’m not totally satisfied with my Day 3 result. But I thought I’ll give it a try.
The kit is from Marisa Lerin, font is Arial Black at 150. For the photo (only the photo) I used a drop shadow as it was shown in the Template Workshop Day 2.
I hope you’ll like it and looking forward to reading your comments and tips.
April 24, 2022 at 1:43 pm #75833This layout is very cute!
April 26, 2022 at 3:52 am #75895Thanks, Louyse.
November 22, 2022 at 9:48 pm #87242I’m just now doing this workshop and I’m learning a lot (I know I say that every time I post) and I actually have a project I made that I’m pretty pleased with. I think the template was from the Lesson 2.
November 22, 2022 at 9:48 pm #87243oops, double post
